HELLO crafty Wednesday people! Another trip around the world to visit all The WOYWWers on What's On Your WorkTop Wednesday!? Hosted by sarahscraftshed. This week on my kitchen worktop- (I can't show you my craftroom, as it's been condemmed too dangerous to enter!)... actually??? if I move some of the things blocking the door... and move a few more things on the floor, yep there you go! One Picture. It really has become a dumping Ground. Looking at that picture it doesn't look too messy! It's been worse. But then, I'm still crafting in the kitchen and!! Wonders will never cease, I'm still doing the #gelypostcardplay challenge hosted by #Cerithecrafter.
Here's a few of the postcards on my lazy susan. It really looks like there's a bowl of peas under that blue hare, doesn't it... nah, i'ts all part of the card design. Go see HERE. or scroll down...Here's one more picture and then....I'm out in the garden for a bit, as it's stopped raining and the sun's come out!I was going to add 'beautiful' minus the B...coz there's a big one there, but for some reason, that didn't happen. That's it from me! Hope you're all well, have a great WOYWW!? week. Thank you for stopping by!
Hee! Hee! I can relate to that, danger! danger! do not enter Lol! Loving the post cards they look brilliant, gorgeous colours and images. Be careful in your craft room, you may get gobbled up by the stuff! Wishing you a very happy and creative week. Hugs Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteFive seconds after I typed that, a load of stuff fell to the floor, crash! I knew it would happen!
DeleteI really did think there was a bowl of peas underneath the hare! Very clever even if not intentional. Love the bright colours on the finger one too. Have a splendid week, Lisa-Jane #11 www.prettymypage.co.uk
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm hoping to get a few things done but time as they say, waits for no one!
DeleteWhat fabulous postcards Lyn. Enjoy the sun while there is some. I am hoping it lasts after the end of this week into the holidays. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW - Thanks for joining in. Sarah
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping that too, now the grandkiddies are off school, both will be going to start new schools next term
DeleteI can totally get where you're coming from.. I can barely get into the "dining room" (ha ha) for crafty supplies on the floor and books on the table.. as for the living room (where I craft) .... no room there either! Have a great week - I love those postcards. helen #1
ReplyDeleteIt's getting worse...I think, why move it, or tidy it up, if its all going to be the same tomorrow!
DeleteDear Lyn, I like both the rabbit and the butterfly postcard. They look great!
ReplyDeleteIs it possible that you are a "horizontal order type"? Vertical order types are those people who are considered really tidy because they organize everything on shelves and in cupboards and drawers. Horizontal order types "organize" everything around them in order to SEE things. Because "out of sight, out of mind" - and if it is too "tidy", it has a negative effect on creativity. (I am that type... and it helped me, to know that.)
All the best from Austria, Traude

I think you've hit the nail on the head there!! I'm a messer, I know that, BUT, I like order in some things, like all my Really Usefu lBoxes, (I have a lot of them) MUST face so you can see the imprint of Really Useful Box on the front, never with the back showing! In the dishwasher, everything has a place, folks in one place knives in another, and old spoons and new spoons must NEVER be together!I think my craftroom is just too small for everything to 'have a home' so??? move into the hall/living room/ kitchen...problem solved!!
DeleteThat made me smile! Love the “hare in my soup”. The butterfly one looks great too. So where do you do your cooking? 🤣🤣 Happy WOYWW. Angela #12
ReplyDeleteWhat fun you’ve had and created some great pieces, the peas had me fooled too! In answer to your question on my blog, I have to keep my desk clear as it’s used for cutting out, piecing, all sorts of things and fabric needs to be kept clean. So I’ve just got into the habit of putting stuff away immediately after use. I also can’t stand wasting time searching for stuff so all my tools etc have their homes. Maybe I’ve got OCD?!
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 5 xx
No, you are just a very tidy person! and do fabulous sewing as well as crafting!
DeleteThe peas really do look like they are actual peas! That hare and the letter B are fabulous - glad you used them in your work.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about the mess, I've seen worse - and worked in worse. As long as you are having a great time does it really matter. It's all about enjoying yourself.
Hugs, Neet xx2
