Evening! And a happy WOYWWednesday to you. And a belated T for Tuesday! I, me, myself have actually been crafting! (yes and covering more boxes, and watering and weeding and cutting hedges...it's all in the picture) but no, real crafting...trying to make a quicky Birthday Card but but BUT! I suddenly had dogs to do. Yay! (get out of the untidy messy crafty house and into the sunshine!!) Above crafty picture is what I've been doing... colouring some Lawn Fawn stamped images ....a bird table with birds and squirrels. Well, that's what's in the garden of where I've been House/dog/sitting, with Remi and Bronte, so I thought that would be a good idea for a card... Just gotta make the background (sky/grass, you know)
The Lawn Fawn video of this set, has the bird table hanging from the tree....and the feeder (which in real life should be a lot smaller) on a pole...o....kay... So, I'm trying to make my feeder be in the front and the bird table in the background...anyway! we will see when I've finished it! I've just gotta go hunt out my 'clouds' stencil...and some blue ink.... Haven't found my clouds stencil yet, but I did find last years WOYWW ATC cards...(5 left out of nine) I've called them, 'A Walk Through The New Forest' and I can't even remember making them! Odd that I haven't squeezed a New Forest Pony in there somewhere! First thing this morning, I had a play with Frankie...He has the biggest mouth ever! Always smiling!! (It's a wonder he doesn't swallow the ball!)Wednesday, 11 June 2025
WOYWW #836 and a Late T for Tuesday
Tuesday, 3 June 2025
It's Tuesday...
...so it must be T stands for Tuesday T day. I've only just, yesterday, set up my laptop after once again, unexpectedly, being away dog/house sitting again last week, when suddenly, it came up on the screen, 'Battery Dangerously Low! Yep....I'd forgotten to plug it in...Anyway! Can't miss T for Tuesday-hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard. The 'green' is my own mix of loads a different fruit and spinage with...Coconut water. Different but quite nice! And, the yellow, I showed you last week...not my usual Turmeric and Ginger Tea bag but my own mix...I used the little coffee jug to strain out all the bits! See how I mangered to get the word 'Tea' in the glass, clever huh? Short and sweet this week! Thank you for stopping by!

It's Tuesday, It's Time for T and it's raining!
Happy T for Tuesday! I'm not home. I had a call yesterday wondering if I could house dog/sit til Thursday...Luckily I was feeling a lot better...had a bit of a sicky weekend, so, here I am. Shame the sun's gone and it's raining tho! The drinks are, not my normal teabag Turmeric and ginger tea but one that I put all the ingredients in that little coffee Jug. That way I can squeeze out all the bits! Then it's what's left of one of my Kombucha drinks, Wild Berry (with black and green tea leaves) then, Almond Oat milk with spinach and Chi seeds I think, which I made yesterday and brought with me. My cereal has my usual mix, plus Kefir (posh yogurt), some extra chopped hazel nuts and some frozen fruit that I found at the back of my freezer.
Here's Bronte wondering where the deer are. She's on the edge of the Ha-Ha, looking across the field. The farmer recently put up a new fence. And here's Remi, still hunting for that mole! 'It's here somewhere!' Well, apart from nipping out later to to take Dexter for a walk and collect my crafty happy mail parcel, which has just arrived according to my phone, that's it from me! Pop over to Altered Book Lover and join in with some better drinks and more food than me. Happy T Day! Thank you for stopping by.
ps...if ALL the people that popped in and just 'looked,' I'd have thousands of comments every day! werid!

A very Late T for Tuedsay
Yes! I know. I always get the d and the s in Tuesday wrong!! So! Happy T day, on a Thursday and not a Tuesday....although I think this has been posted on a Tuedsay. I've had so much going on all week that I really don't know what day it is! My boring breakfast with an egg this time, and my normal kombucha tea drink, plus another fruit drink, are above... Started clearing out cupboards, ready for when they start the kitchen remake...Christmas mugs are nearly re-homed, there's just these ones left...
And I started clearing the side drive, ready for when the meter people come next week. They need to put in a pipe, I need to get the presure-hose out...plus wet suit and googles...
Text came through to take my blood pressure twice a day for two weeks....What is a good reading I want to know. And talking of 'pressure'...then the boiler decided to leak! Not as bad as two Christmas ago, but still very distressing! They are coming out Friday...meanwhile, towels and a bowl are doing a great job...And I'm keeping my eye on the gage 24/7! If the black and red dials touch the boiler leaks!
The kitchen man came...my kitchen is too small for an island, I knew that. I want an extention, but I've been talked down on that (and I don't really want to fill in the pond)...it's been suggested that I take my breakfast bar away, where am I going to eat?? Changes are being made to my cooker, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher... When it's all planed out I can go see it on a TV scene....it will be fab. Honest. Can't wait. And yes....I will take pictures.

Time for another T for Tuesday
Make a funny face everyone....or you'll lose your heads! Christmas day dinner at Daughtter's. So now it's time for T On Tuesday.... so pop over to alteredbooklover and see what's going on! Short post, as too much to do...dogs all gone now so I need to tidy up! I always say that, and does it happen? No!
And for pudding? I decided on the chocolate cake with Bailey's cream...The drink? My usual Kombucha, no sugar tea drink of Raspberry and Lemonade. (It's at least three months before I need to see the diabetic nurse...sooo shhh! don't tell anyone!) Let's hope 2025 brings more hope, more happiness and more love ! Thank you for stopping by!

It's Tuesday and Time for Tea with Bleubeard and Elizabeth
Hello T Stands for Tuesday! I started off quite well last week and posted more than I've posted in ages...but then, well??? I got into a tidy mode...which means...making a chaotic mess everywhere, while I try to find 'homes' for everything and decided whether to chuck, sell, give away, donate, store or keep. (Although I've been doing this for the past 18 months, I'll blame Ceri The Crafter and his 'Death Cleaning' talk but he does have a point and I can remember my mum and mum in-law doing just that. So, I've been stepping over things all week (don't put the hoover away yet, you're going to need it again in a minute... and then treading on the plug, ouch!) and hardly crafting at all, except, with bits. What do I mean by bits?? It means, in my case, finding a bit of paper and then needing to or wanting to stick it to another bit of paper... or finding a tiny bit of scrap and adding it to my mini journals... or tags...or whatever falls off the shelf! (sometimes even the shelf!) This was a paper snack bag... there is a video of me waffling...but I haven't worked out how to get that on here....yet.(lucky you!)
So. I'm joining in with T stands for Tuesday, to try and put some sanity back into my life...and, as you can see, I've 'staged' my boring breakfast this morning, seen above and below. Cold cup of tea...no sugar (Yuk!) Then there's Porridge with no sugar but I added my fruit whizz-up instead... not bad. Had the idea from a chap who started talking to me in Tesco's that he always puts cranberry juice on his cereal instead of milk... (I still use milk)
The half empty bottle of wine in the
background I found in the garage. I made a Cottage pie in the week and added it
to the gravy on the third day left-overs. (If he made anything with beef, John
would usually add red wine or white wine with chicken) and?? yes, very yummy.
Seeing I made enough for four meals...On the second day I added curry, just to
give it different taste...and then I found the wine...
Then, as you can see, I had two boiled eggs with toasted seed bread soldiers and sat them on those cute little eggcups again... and as for the warm chocolate chipped bun...yes, it has extra Nutella in it...
Someone asked a while back, what goes in my fruit wizz.... basically, whatever fruit I have. Grapes, Bananas. Blackberries, Raspberries Blueberries, sometimes an apple or a bit of water melon, or kiwi, or orange including those little oranges and always water..
Sorry about the lighting....I have some bulbs
gone in the kitchen.. and I can't reach to change them...unless I get the big steps from the
garden... and talking about bulbs and the garden- daffodils are beginning to
show! Spring is on her way!
My bargin of the week I think must be this little trolly I bought from Adli. It's smaller than my others but well worth £12.99 (the putting it together was umm...fun, not. A lot of swearing went on!)
Last but not least...it's waaay past coffee time, closer to afternoon tea time, so I've just stopped for a cuppa and some dark chocolate Hobnobs!Don't forget to pop over to AlteredBookLover and join in. It's 'spicey' again this week! Thank you for stopping by!

Time for T means Tuesday And a bit of Tunnel Travelling!
WARNING! A long post! I haven't been joining in with T for Tuesday just lately, so I'll start with a nice picture of a very naughty chocolate cake! As we were feeling a bit 'off' with the C bug, we stayed home until we were cleared but instead of traveling off to... Cornwall...as planed, we went to, Kent, where I was born. We still stayed in a 'Log Cabin' but it wasn't in a wood. It was very nice, although it was on a fast road... in fact, Kent has changed sooo much, I was a little disappointed. The Apple and Cherry Orchards I remember going on forever had all gone, in fact even the Farm had gone too! (nothing much to replace them, just overgrowness and rubble where the farm barns and cow sheds had been) And there seemed to be nothing but motorway after motorway after motorway. Definitely not the Garden Of England I remembered. Still, it was many decades ago! I
recognised where we were, and told hubby John...''Turn left up here!"
then left again, down a old single track concrete 'road' where the row of bugalows were still there. They were 'tied' cottages back then, which meant, they went with the job... so if you lost your job, you lost your home too. Most of the bungalows had lost their lovely front gardens, to be replaced with makeshift drives (or crushed rubble) for the new owners to be able to park their many cars and 4x4's. Nearly all of them had garages now. No one needs a log or coal shed these days...and I'm sure we also had an outside loo, (for when you were working in the garden) The back gardens were big too...lawns, vegetables gardens. Greenhouse, even a place to chop up your fire wood!
No one answered the door where I lived and where my brother was born. So I took a quick picture. Then after introducing myself, I asked the lady now living where Mrs Cornford lived, if I could take a picture. (At least their drive had been bricked and the old metal crittall windows had been replaced with really nice ones and the front door now had a new porch.
She didn't seem very happy, and said 'as long as you don't take pictures of my cars' Well, why would I? Her new wooden garage took up an area of what was once a tiny slice of the Cherry orchard. So we moved on.
My first school (with one room that could be divided into two, (5 to 7 year olds) had gone too, and that was now part of the field that had always been there. Then on to my second school....(5 to 11 year olds) which was now a home for someone. The next stop was the sweet shop I remember going through double doors and buying blackjacks and fruit salads, 4 for an old penny, wasn't there, and had never been
a sweet shop! It was a pub! ('Yay' said John!)They were really lovely and the group of gentlemen sitting outside supping their beers when we arrived, told me where the long gone sweet shop used to be. 'You go round the corner here-go to the old tin shop and he'll tell you all about it' and he did!

| Lorries, parked on the motorway waiting to go into Dover. No P&O boats. |
Later we passed lorries waiting on the motorway because there were no P&O boats sailing as they'd suddenly 'retired' all their workers.
Here's some of the P&O boats at Dover docks. I thought it would have been bigger than that.We stopped for a cupper and I saw this....
Then we were off visiting Castles. All of them were linked to Henry The 8th. Going through the gate....
Up on the roof... and then down in the tunnels that went under the Castle...
The tunnels went on....
and on....
...and on...
and on...getting darker and darker! At every turn...they looked the same...
Well, if you're still with me, thanks you stopping by! I know it's gone on and on... but this is last weeks and this weeks T For Tunnels, I mean Tuesday! Trundle over to Altered Book Lover and join in!

Time For T Stands for 'Tuesday'.
Chocolate Yumminess! It says to add two squares of dark chocolate in the middle of the mixture so it melts, but I think it could do with four! If I had managed to play T for Tuesday last week, you would've seen this Charity shop Monster Mug (with a pocket for his cookies! Not chocolate ones as they melt!)
Our few days away in Cornwall, near Padstow, were spent with Hubby filming the grandkiddies on the beach. The waves where rolling in and quiet high. It looks a long way out but moments later one of those little ripples came gushing over those rocks and filled their wellie boots!A creepy house in Padstow looking out over the harbour. Sort of boasts Pirates and Smugglers! I wonder what it looks like inside!?And looking out to sea was this metal Surfer....hoping the Tide is bringing in some big surfing waves!
Once back home, drinks and a family meal in a pub in Bournemouth and little Lola came with us!
She ordered the drinks...
And watched what was going on perched on 'Uncle' Pat's Arm! (bil)
She was also a great food Tester!
While we were in Cornwall, Mr Jinx stayed with Aunty Karen at her cattery. Here he is sleeping in his little house! That's it from me this Tuesday. Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by!
