What's On your Worktop This Wednesday#662

 It's Wednesday So?? Whats On Your Worktop? Nip over to Stamping Ground and join in. But First, before the crafty mess...not a good week for us as I'm so sorry to say, Lady Pam passed peacefully away on Monday afternoon at home. Me, John, Debs and even Arlo the dog was there to say good bye. She would've been 91 this June and I shall miss her giggles so very much and her little catch fraze, 'Funny... in'it?'

I'm afraid my bench this week is a bit like last weeks with this weeks mess piled on top. I was putting my stamps into those white baskets along the shelf just seen in the picture but have since decided, I prefer them where they were, just loose so I can see them all.

 As you can see, I've done a bit of die-cutting... then Julia's stamps arrived Sunday Afternoon... .that's them on the middle right. And that little Christmas treat box I came across when I was putting the Christmas decorations away a few weeks back. Everyone had one, all slightly different, filled with Chocolate Reindeer poo! The reel of heart ribbon came from that Crafty Charity shop near me, a full reel for 25p and some more stamps and a couple of dies for a £1-£1.50 so that was definitely, my bargain/s of the week! For those who asked, yes it is a charity shop that sells nothing but crafty things, which is brilliant! They have other shops in town, selling just toys and 'posh' clothes. Just had to type this out again as Blogger won't save it! That's it from me for now, the freebie is on its way... T for T Tuesday, Tea, Tree, No Time and T'other Things

Happy Belated Christmas every one. Sorry, I've been awol all over Christmas, as I was not only up to my eyebrows in Christmas Stuff and Family going's on, Poor Lady Pam has not been well. She's now being 'accessed' (I think I mean assessed!) in Hospital. I'm not sure how that works, but she's hoping for a new mojo and a large portion of brandy covered Christmas Pud with cream, as she missed out!

And! And!! And!! ! I not only managed a threeway video link with Daughter in Winchester, (herein England) but also, youngest daughter in Skykomish, which is about 50mins from Seattle USA and is under a weather warning of very deep snow at the moment. The snowy top picture was taken last year... so, no way as deep as it is now! Well, it is Tuesday, so I'm hoping, if I'm not too late, I'll add this to T stands for Tuesday, and Other Things over on the Altered Book Lover, aka BleuBeard and Elizabeth's.  First, The Christmas Tree from start...still in it's box up until about five minutes ago. Pressies all gone!

 I'm not sure the box will last another year, but the tree's still going strong! I put less than half the decorations I normally put on it, so no red, gold or green stuff this year, but I did buy a half price Christmas Gnome while we were out today...bet you can't spot him! (He's near the bottom, on the left of the finished tree, and grey.)

We've just got back from a really long walk... first through woods and then... 

along the cliff edge. Cold and Windy and a quick look around the Village... lots of knitted things on post boxes! 

                              And... a quick 'selfie!'

 

Back home, nearly dark, John's cooking up some left over beef and adding roasted veg and two Yorkshire puds, covered in gravy, served up on our (1997 to 2007) old plates (we had wallpaper that matched! The girls chose it!)

The dog's call Bandit, he's loving the snow while my grandson and son-in-law are trying to get into the house!

My untidy craft space from last week, complete with a cup of Hot Chocolate of course! (and the found lost key!) Nothing much has changed! Will 'tidy up' later. Hope you all had a lovely T for Tuesday, a Fabulous Christmas and are looking forward to a New Bright 2022!!

 Morning WOYWWers!  Welcome to another What's on Your Worktop Wednesday.... pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in! 

I've already diecut a few tiny Christmas trees

 I still can't link to Stamping Ground, unless I turn something on or off on my laptop and about 1.30 this morning I couldn't get into the 'thing' on my laptop to turn it off or on...I had a 'try again later' message. So...a short post this week me thinks! Sorry about the photos, it looks like there's a sea mist drifting in! I need a new one. Camera that is... Hint. Hint.

This is what's on my desk at the moment... (A close up to hide all the mistakes I've already done) You can just see in the picture, that I'm trying to build a ginger bread house to fit inside a card that pops out when you open it.

I've got the book on how to do it and Sam Calcott's video is on my phone playing away, so, with any luck I should have it done by this time next week! My new cat mug is still on my desk from yesterday but it has been washed up and there's fresh tea in it... honest... and a spoon. (I must remember not to poke my eye out!) We seem to have been doing a lot of running around going no where lately so not a lot of time for doing 'real crafting'. We visited Lady Pam... took her a hot Gregs sauage roll, she loves them. She had a visit from one of her carer's  with her baby...

Isn't he cute! We've visited the Vets but just to collect more pills for Jinx, and I've visited my brother a few times who's now staying at The Macmillan Cancer Unit in Christchurch. Haven't seen the grandkiddies in ages and was told this morning that Niamh's last test came back positive and she has to self-isolate for 10 days. It seems to me, this is getting worse and closer! Wot's On Your Worktop...Not Wednesday #642 With a Touch of T for Tuesday

 Argh! It's bin a bissy week! I'm goin' Bananas! But never mind that! Happy Very Late WOYWW. I lost my secret key to the back door of Stamping Ground, again... but I'm here now...it's never too late to join in.  Here's what was on my workbench about an hour ago....

And to the left, is the card that made all that mess... it's not finished yet...it needs something else (and don't say the nearest bin!) I think I have one more penny spinner card to make...that'll be the boat, there's a couple more I haven't got...yet. This monkey card will be winging its way  to somewhere very soon, as it's a bit late. The first card I made I decided was a bit too twee. Think this one's a little bit better or will be when it's finished...

...and this is what my desk looks like now. Right! That's it...Up early in the morning, collecting my new glasses...the ones that go dark when the sun comes out... so not much chance of that happening very often!

Today, (being Wednesday and not Tuesday, and almost Thursday) I'll  add the next bit to T for Tuesday over on  Bleubeard and Elizabeth's post!) we took Lady Pam out for a cream Tea... (She's making a face, cos half an hour before this picture, she was in bed, snoring!  snoozing! We arrived at hers about Two-ish... "Come on," I said, "get your drawers on, we're going out!" and we had Scones with Clotted cream and jam!

I had Hot Chocolate... I'm now going to travel back in time, to Two minutes before midnight...yesterday!  Thank you for stopping by!! Happy WOYWW+ T for Tuesday.
