WOYWW!? #883
Happy WOYWW!? I know, I've been away months, but it couldn't be helped, loads of things going wrong and the fact that I've been dog/house sitting most of that time, and today I nipped home very early so I could come and say how sad I was to hear about Neet, I know loads of you will miss her so much. Love and prays to all that knew her.
I haven't be too ideal...every week I did take pictures but that was as far as it got! The top picture was an old diary I covered in scrap paper and made top and side pockets... it might become some sort of glue book
The next week it was more box covering and ticket makingThen, following on, the week after, I actually did a bit of Gell printing...followed by cutting out some Alice odds nd ends...
Well, I'm off back to the Dogs house now...popping in tye shop to get then some different food as they're not eating their breakfast and I've just realised, as I was here so early, underneath my jumper, I'm still wearing my PJ's....I don't think anyone will notice! Happy, but sad, WOYWW Thank you for stopping by.

Just Remembered, it's WOYW Wednesday! With a touch of Tuesday too
I know, where have I been? Anywhere but popping into BlogLand or joining in with WOYWW. Sorry I missed the ATC swap on Tea for Tuesday's Anniversary, (although I did make some ATC's) but, as I've said before, life gets in the way! I've had new plugs fitted, a new electric fuse box, the loft ladder is still broken, a man turned up unannounced, said he'd be back the following week...never showed, and, I had to hunt for a mouse for my laptop... I couldn't get onto the internet or sign in with my password as my mouse wouldn't work! And the whirling thing you work with your fingers, I've never been able to master that! I couldn't type in my password...
Anyway!! A lot of expence later and I'm here at last!! And today I have a small shopping hull from a charity shop. Two Edith Holden books, two 10p magazines, to cut up for when I ever get time to make glue books or use them for journals, etc...plus another Maws Broons cook book, which looks like its been hand made with scraps of everything! But, its not!
And, a new Sizzix die, never been used, plus a little magnetic box/book, (which once probably held soap, and will be just right for hiding 'secret things' in) all for under a fiver. Yes, I know I already have those books, but now I have more I won't mind chopping them up, and keeping the better ones. And here's my drinks for T for Tuesday....not sure what they are though! Have a great week, think of me digging, chopping, mowing, weeding, prunning, watering, cutting and planting! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW #836 and a Late T for Tuesday
Evening! And a happy WOYWWednesday to you. And a belated T for Tuesday! I, me, myself have actually been crafting! (yes and covering more boxes, and watering and weeding and cutting hedges...it's all in the picture) but no, real crafting...trying to make a quicky Birthday Card but but BUT! I suddenly had dogs to do. Yay! (get out of the untidy messy crafty house and into the sunshine!!) Above crafty picture is what I've been doing... colouring some Lawn Fawn stamped images ....a bird table with birds and squirrels. Well, that's what's in the garden of where I've been House/dog/sitting, with Remi and Bronte, so I thought that would be a good idea for a card... Just gotta make the background (sky/grass, you know)
The Lawn Fawn video of this set, has the bird table hanging from the tree....and the feeder (which in real life should be a lot smaller) on a pole...o....kay... So, I'm trying to make my feeder be in the front and the bird table in the background...anyway! we will see when I've finished it! I've just gotta go hunt out my 'clouds' stencil...and some blue ink.... Haven't found my clouds stencil yet, but I did find last years WOYWW ATC cards...(5 left out of nine) I've called them, 'A Walk Through The New Forest' and I can't even remember making them! Odd that I haven't squeezed a New Forest Pony in there somewhere! First thing this morning, I had a play with Frankie...He has the biggest mouth ever! Always smiling!! (It's a wonder he doesn't swallow the ball!)Thursday, 16 January 2025
WOYWW!???? I ask. Do we really know!!? #815
Its a very late 'Whats On Your Worktop Wednesday?!'(or Thursday...Friday??) Can you even see whats on your work top-or even the floor!? No! Yes...I know it's Friday...I think? but never mind! I've had a very difficult week, so let's just throw Caution to the wind, whoever that is ....perhaps they're related to Will....who everyone fires at...! Top picture: I had some happy mail, containing more lables and things, so, instead of doing what I'd started (sorting out boxes of scraps) I stopped that, to sort out where I was going to put the new goodies...
And here's box two.....there's another four or five boxes that look almost the same... I've also been making a birthday card....the aftermath of that was spead everywhere...I thought I'd lost a tiny die cut from one of the new sets I had...luckily I found it stuck to the floor with some lowtack tape. I always check the soles of my shoes too...I found a lost earring stuck there last week...Lord knows how long that had been there...
Anyway! The birthday card... here's a sneek peek, I'll show you it all in the next post...Hopefully! Hope your WOYWW day was perfect! Thank you for stopping by!

A forever Wednesday Freebie! And Another late What's On Your Worktop Wednesday, #811?!
Just as well she was there really, as I slipped on one of the rafters and fell (luckily) into a pile of unused duvets. Could I get up?? No. I guess after a while I would've managed, but with Emma's help it was all made a lot easier! So I've decided to put the dec boxes out in the mancave or the garage) then I don't have to worry about getting them back up into the attic, and then down again next year...and then up again.... not looking forward to that. They may have to stay out in the mancave or the garage forever!
I found these knitted thingies, I made years ago, in with the Christmas decs...there were quite a few of them-lost to the many boxes in the attic that I can't reach probably. Robin Hood and a Snowman...see! I can knit! Well, the tree is up and decorated....not as much stuff on it....it gets less and less every year, lights are in the windows...I want to put up some outside lights. Not much chance of that as I can only get on to the second or third run of the steps! And! this week I'm House sitting three dogs! And, one of them is staying with me for Christmas...

Whats On Your Worktop Wednesday?! #793
Yes, it's Wednesday and that means WOYWW!? Pop over to Sarah's CraftShed to find out more! Well, I haven't done anything much at all, I've been tidying (hahahahaa) up after having a very hairy fourlegged friend over and today two four legged friends are coming! So I must make space...'specialy clearing the crafty stuff that is blocking the hall. At last I can get into my craft room... sort of.... Below is what I have made this week...
Mr Gentleman Puss-cat. I've showed you these before as I took the whole set to play with while house sitting a few months back in June. (It's a freebie from VectoriaDesigns.) At last I found time to add the acetate to the front of the window. So he's all nice and 'shinny' now inside his specimen folder. The others (seen on another woyww post) I'm still making them, so you can see the cat through the window, but can also pull them out because they're fixed to a tag...but this one is just stuck in as seen.So ! That's it for now! Have a great crafty WOYWW week. Thank you for stopping by!Wednesday, 7 August 2024
SO? Whats On Your Worktop WeDnesday??#792
Another Wednesday is here! Time to hide all your mess and get out all the good stuff! Then nip over to Sarah's Craft Shed and see what's happening in the crafty world. Mine's not good...tidying up didn't work...I get soooo side tracked, one little tiny 'thing' will have me hunting either to find it's home, or trying to find a place to stick it! I lose hours in a day.... Above you can see the start of my 'Glue Book' collection. I knnoow! I don't get them either, but if you watch or are already watching.. Nicole,Relax, Cut, Glue! I think even if you don't now, you might later!
The orange and black stripes paper, is an always freebie found in yesterdays post. (Just Click and save) The other bits in the front are or were throwouts left over from the #GelypostcardPlay I joined in for the whole of July, but, then I played with a gell pen and a gold pen and put some life back into them... the ghosts are waiting for a haunted house... the flower was originally used as a mask on PostCard No 3 printed on tissue...but later coloured in red. In an earlier post I was moaning that the 'freebie downloads' for Die-cut Essentials #119, weren't there to download, well, they are now! I love Gnomes! But I have a birthday card to make for Grandson Oliver... who will be 9! Lego? or Dinosaurs?? (Where did those years go?)Last Picture above...Closer look at my freebie digital-art download, cut to ATC size. I've started adding bits with my Pocas Pens.
And one more picture... This is one of those throw away postcards that I re-vamped. 'That's it!' Pop over to Sarah's and see What's On your Worktop Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by.
(PS. This weeks Wednesday Freebie is already posted below!)

Whats On Your Worktop Wednesday!#787
![]() |
| Lola |
My fingers are black with paint, glue and ink, because I'm doing Ceri The Crafter's #Gelypostcardplay for the whole of July...will I do it? Will I make 31 geliprinted postcards??? Will I heck! Who know!? We'll just have to wait and see! Above, I was using two large sheets of some kind of really nice strong tissue paper, which came with an Amazon package. I'm going to stamp on it later... not sure what it will do, as I have no idea what I'm doing...just having fun!
Just enough room to get to the cookie jar and the kettle! I've finished day 3 on #GelyPostCardPlay, so

What's on your WorkTop Wednesday!? #785-Lots of bits!
And what's on my Worktop? This was on mine, but it's now all packed up, and in my case, so I can have a play with it while I'm here. It's a freebie from VectoriaDesigns. There's even a tutorial on YouTube on how to put it together.
My old printer has finally given up the ghost, so...I bought a new printer, Yay!! It's sooo good, being able to print again! So I've printed out loads of digi papers and will spend any spare time, while I'm here, making up some little folders. This one above is the Gentleman Cats. I didn't do it as described. I first made the little specimen folders smaller... cut out the window, then made a tag that fitted inside the window and added the pussy cat gentlemen...
Then I watched the tutorial again and started with the printing of the gentlemen cats on to acetate then printed out the specimen folders to the right size... Will show you next week, how it all turns out...(No you won't!) If you can't wait, here's a link to a quicky Look! And another to the main, 'how to' tutorial and don't forget,The Gentlemen Cats downloads are freebies! That's all from me for now! Happy WOYWW pop over to Sarah's Craft Shed and join in! Thank you for stopping by!
up date! here's a link to get some freebie Lady cats!

Whats On Your Worktop #775 and a spot of Painting!
What's On Your Worktop #775 already?? Yep, time waits for no one! Well, it's afternnon here. Lola's a sleep, (little dog that's staying with me at the moment) so I've nipped into my craftroom to quickly do a WOYWW!? post, that's going on, every week, over on Stamping Ground! I've done a bit of 'slap it on painting, covering an unwanted 12x12, and hoping I'll be able to turn it into tags, atc's, postcards, journal covers or something else. (Or just something that my brother in law will put into that dirt great skip he's promised to get, when I've gone...) I've sort of followed Ceri The Crafters YouTube tutorial, for the April 2024 colour combo, Makers of Mixed Media Art and Artist Facebook group, using Cream, Magenta and Teal, plus black, white and gold too, if needed.
It's not finished yet...waiting for it to dry then, I'll add some scribbles or use my Posca pens to make shapes or even do some stamping.
I also made another sideways pocket tag (idea from SevenPlaza I think) using the village's monthly church 'Link' magazine. Bluebells for spring. I think you may've already seen the other one, made from a masterboard a little while back but it wanted to join in too! Short post today, as I'm house, dog and Professor sitting tonight while Mrs Proffessor is out. Lola's coming too and she soon lets the other dogs know who's boss! Here's a picture of her this morning.... so cute!

| Added this morning, Little Lola. |
Blogger is still not letting me load my photos in the 'normal' way, so it takes an age! And have you noticed??? My background to my blog, has disappeared!! It's just, black now, looks like I've fallen into the darkest deepest abyss... oh well, that's me alover! That's it for now, off to house/dog/Proff sit! Thank you for stopping by! See you over on Stamping Ground later!

It's not Wednesday but It's on my Work Top #772
I know it's not Wednesday, but I missed out Wednesday coz it got me all 'bothered' and I decided, for reasons only known by Fairies and Unicorns, there would be no Wednesday this week!! So!! This week, it's What's On Lyn's Worktop Thursday! Now known as WOLWT...it has a certain ring to it. (But Stamping Ground sounds sooo much better!) Above is this months 'Die Cutting Essentials' magazine #114, that's just popped through my letter box, umm, only, two of the dies were missing. (I have two happiness's instead) I keep most of my magazines in these folders along with their matching downloaded papers and bits of die cutting ephemera and of course their 'freebies'.
Hopefully this'll be a very quick post. I just don't have the mojo. Got out of the house yesterday, was heading for Hobby Craft to spend my two vouchers, but somehow ended up, at The Works. This A2 Sketch Paper pad caught my eye for £1. And yesterday...I mean Tuesday, you may have caught a glimse of some tags. I used some of the hand written pages from one of these 'Diary of an Edwardian Lady' books (another bargain of last week)
And made this tab...not finished yet. I have flowers, somewhere, to add to the front as well as an eyelet and the tag insert needs some decoration too.Blogger's still sending me around the block to load up pictures, but I'm getting used to it now, so hopefully, faster too! Now, if you want to see some real crafting pop over to Stamping Ground and join in! Thank you for stopping by!
