A Bugaboo Candy Bear

Isn't this little Candy bear (by Bugaboo of course) sooo sweet! And you could've got him free, if you'd subscribed to their last Newsletter, like me! So, go and sign up, that way you'll never miss any extra freebies! And you'll get to know what's going on too. meanwhile, you can find him with the latest new releases HERE. Half price at the moment!!
My Card. I've used three backing papers. Two are by Papermania, as used in the post below, plus the gingerbread men paper, which came from a 6x6 pack I had free with QuickCards made easy, magazine, called Cosy Christmas Collection.
I haven't used them yet, but Cardmaking and PaperCraft (Big sister of QuickCards) have some lovely freebie papers for you to download. You have to 'login' HERE and then just scroll down a bit and click and save!
Back to the card. I've used red and green card, Nesties and  Woodware punches. Adding tiny butterflies, (for a challenge, now I forgotten which one!) and tiny gems to the teddy's feet, paws? No, I'll stick with feet! And last but not least, the Christmas card Candi.
I've 3D-ed the little bear, so he has three extra heads and  two extra paws and two extra feet and extra 'hearts' on his feet as well, but just the one candy cane, coloured with Promarkers.
I made the sentiment on the computer using WordArt and filled in with red with a darker red outline. Only used up the scraps for the inside. Didn't put too much on the left , as this card is a little lighter  than I usually use and having a few layers on the front makes it a bit top heavy if there's also more layers inside too.
The freebie Font is called Janda Happy Day, and you can download it HERE or just Google the name. There are quite a few 'Janda' fonts.
I'm not here at the moment, well, I am, as I'm typing this, but you know what I mean! We're dog sitting/ walking all this week, so I'm just nipping in when I can. Hoping all this walking will get me fit!! (We did walk miles today, so glad it didn't rain) That's it for now. Thank you for stopping by!!

Tom's Card!

Here's a sneak peek of the Christmas card design, Tom, my son-in-law will be sending out to family and friends this year! I cleared a space on my messy craft room worktop big enough for Tom to have a play with some of the new crafty stuff he'd bought from a craft store on the way down to spend Sunday Afternoon  with us, yesterday. Some Dream Weaver Embossing paste, a Christmas tree stencil, some gold glitter, a packet of cards and two sheets of gold and silver Merry Christmas peel offs. Armed with my craft knife and cake pallet spreader, he  made this  fabulous embossed Christmas tree card! Download the freebie Chocolate box decorative font I used on the picture HERE
Dawn Bibby YouTube Video HERE showing you other ways to use this embossing paste!

A Turkey's not Just For Christmas! (Bugaboo Freebie)

My two month sprint (it did go fast) stint as a Bugaboo Guess Designer ended at the end of September, but I still wanted to make this card using this weeks,  Freebie Friday image for their Anything Goes Challenge! You'll find Turkey Pumpkin over in the  Bugaboo Store! Especially for those of you over the pond, in the USA,  celebrating your Thanks Giving next month, this fabulous Turkey, will be just the job! Us over here in Britain could save him for Christmas, or send him to family living over there for their Thanks Giving, as  we don't do thanks giving here,  I should think finding a card to send would be near-on impossible...(well, there's always MoonPig I suppose!)  You can download him  free all week here. There's more to hunt out in the store
Here's my card.  I've coloured with Promarkers and 3D-ed the pumpkin.
The papers behind the Turkey  are from Crafts-On-The-Net, and are actually Easter papers. It's a Pdf file but I've squished it down very small! You might not find these, but there's loads more!  The main backing papers in and  outside the card are freebies by  Shery k designs
The Ribbon came with a CardMaking and PaperCrafts Magazine some time ago.
I've also added a witch's head at the bottom. Well, there she was, bodiless on my desk, already coloured, left over from a card I made a few weeks ago HERE.  Didn't want to waste her, and it looks as if she's saying the sentiment, which is...Thank Goodness! Turkeys are not just for Christmas...and good to go any time with a nice white wine. Happy Holidays!
The Font I've used is a freebie. It's called Troutkings BTN click to go to the link or Google the name.

I've used my new Nesting Die-cuts by Xcut, which I bought while we were away,  in Trago Mills £3 cheaper than at home. I think that's going to be a very useful shape. Like the fact too, they come with a magnetic storage mat.  I've also added, black Card Candi, a dash of white gel pen and some cutlery brads I'm sure are by Woodware.

You Rock!

It's Stella says Sketch over on The Bugaboo challenge blog, Catch the Bug today. Pop over and see what the team have made!
I thought I'd use this little rock star ghoul and some freebie papers I found to make my card.
I started following the sketch then decided to reverse the squares in the middle and add some loopy cord instead. (tell the truth, you just stuck it on the wrong way!)...shh!! oh those voices, that only I can hear!
I've used Skelekinz boys, you rock my world I love the spider on his boot! You'll find him and the Skelekinz boy over in the Bugaboo store with many of this friends. (I love the headless witch!)
Inside I've used the Sentiment that comes with him. 'You Rock My World', the papers there are by Pink Petticoat.
Although it looks like there's more, there is only five layers in all. The Skelekinz guy has been 3D-ed. He started off having blue hair...but that looked a bit odd (and having no eyes, isn't?) so I used a lot of greys and blended the colours on the last layer. (but a sneaky bit of blue still shows in the side view)
The loopy ribbon/cord, actually goes through a slot between the larger and smaller squares, as they have been printed out as one piece, along with the first Skelekinz guy. The purple star brads are from my stash.
The Rock and Roll paper is a freebie. It comes from Bearly Mine and you'll find it here
The Font outside is a freebie too. It's called Impact Label, you can download that HERE! (it matches the paper...)
That's it for now! I'm out! So this is on timer, but when I get back I'd love to enter this card into some....

It's a Magnam...or two...

Afternoon bloggers! Here's Magnum...isn't he cute? I won him! Yay! And where I won him (Ladybugs) are having a challenge, which I hope I'm not too late for. (No I'm not!)
You might have spotted Magnum and Lilly his mouse friend, half way through being coloured on my WOYWW post yesterday, with odd bits of paper stuck over another sheet of paper.
Here he is finished. I've done a bit of paper piecing where you print or stamp your image over some backing paper and then cut out bits to piece over the image...
There's quite a lot of layers, and some cheats too! The topper has, the red, the first digi, then the added papered chair, then another Promarkered Magnum and then the TV, but the legs of the TV are the legs from the first digi...yes, I'm confused too!
Counting them all there's about nine! but they are all stuck down to look like one image.
I used scraps of paper ... first, print what you want on to plain paper/card and then, stick (I used a smidge of photo glue, coz it peels off easy) some scraps over the image, print it again and those bits of scrap paper will then have the image printed on them too, ready to be cut out.
Here you can see I've paper pieced the arm chair with some small flowery papers by Pink Petticoat and in side, I've paper pieced the cake case.
All the papers are Pink Petticoat...I'm still using up my 'bits' and most of my bits are PP.
The red edging you can see is red Promarker edged around some paper/card but inside it's red pen.
Magnum, Lilly and the TV have been coloured with Promarkers. The Bakers twine was a freebie from PaperCraft Inspiration Magazine this month...
The sentiment was done on the computer. There was a comma after 'take the best chair' but John, (hubby) kept reading it as 'Take the best chain' So I've scribbled over it with a white gel pen...(but have since inked it in with a pen) think he needs new reading glasses! (Click photos to make them bigger)
The Font is a freebie it's called Idolwild download it HERE or just Google the name. New Follower! Hi and a Big wave to Tracy Jensen, who's loves knitting and rabbits I think!! Angora knits
That's it! Tomorrow I'll show you the new Freebie from Bugaboo, hope you've picked up this weeks. Thanks for stopping by! If I'm not too late I'd love to add this to some...

Bug Has a New Bubble!

It's Tuesday, which means, I can change my socks.. nah only kidding, I did that yesterday! It means it's new release day over in the Bugaboo digi Store, and look who came to play in my craft room! Isn't he just too darn cute!?! Wouldn't he make a great birthday or invitation to a party card!?
This is Bubble's Birthday Present all ready for a party! Pop over and see him and some of his friends and some more cards made by the bug team over on Catch the Bug .
My Card: I printed out Bubble a couple of times. Coloured with Promakers. Cut out one image with a scalloped Nestibilitie, cut the other one out, snipping off the bow, the top of the hat and those fiddly bits and stuck it over the top using gel glue.
Then, with the same five colours I used on the digi I striped a piece of A4 heavy paper and used that as backing, inside and out, after I first edged the pearl card with a Turquoise ProMaker.
I've added felt flowers. I fixed the sequins in the centres using gel glue.
There's some some plastic swirly bits that came as part of a party set of backless buttons, tiny green heart gems, fixed on with a quickie glue pen, a ribbon and a lace boarder using a Martha Stewart punch, (inked a little bit) The sentiment was done on the computer. The Font is a freebie its called Ackident download it there or Google the name.
