ATC Swap: 3D Poppies

So, what can you make from a 6x6 sheet of backing paper? Four ATC's and an Inchie, what's what!
Which gave me the idea for these. Seeing we didn't have quite so many swappers on the November ATC swap over on the CM&C forum, I decided to make a few more.
Of course I wasn't going to heat emboss the added (ready cut chipboard) Inchie, but I rubbed the PVA glue off a little too hard on one of them and it roughed it up a bit. I thought, (wrongly) a bit of clear embossing might hide it!
Of course I had to use two 6x6 sheets of paper in the end to make these, but we won't mention that!
I ended up using the left over scraps and decoupaging a few more bits. They're a bit curly in the photo as my daylight lamp gets very hot!! And you can't really tell they've been decoupaged.
I think these papers might be from K&Co, but seeing my local (not really a) craft shop only sells them as single sheets, I'm not sure.

Now, can you tell which Inchie got roughed up a bit? probably not. (Do you care? Not really!)

I still think they need something else don't you? (besides throwing in the nearest bin)
How about a little bit of Stickles glitter? Hang on a sec...
There you go...That's better.
I was hoping to find a few little challenges somewhere and have ffound one for the 'butterfly' ATC... that's of course if they don't mind ATC's! (as it has a butterfly on it!) and a few others too...
Other ATC's in this CP&PC Swap here and here...or just scroll down

An Inch Too Long!

I received my Inchie swaps back from The Cardmaking and Paper Craft Forum. This month's swap was, what's that word when it's all one colour?? Monochromatic? Well you know what I mean, I always thought it meant black and white, but I made coloured ones and so did everyone else.. (Here's mine)
Caro did the pink lady. NantyLornar did the butterfly, NoraBatty did the little flowers and Kerrmira did the teddy bear, which pulls out to make six little Inches! Clever eh?!
Camera is still without a memory. (I know how it feels!) And the pictures are a bit ishy (ishy?) Had to take them indoors with the day light bulb. (Stuck them on the blue background with that white blu tac, it's sooo handy!)
New Followers! Jacki now has a new picture and a link! ((Wave) and out the back and in the dark is Kris Smart, but that's MadaboutPooh! Ah, but wait a minute! Kris is no longer out the back, and now has a lovely picture of Pooh! And better still a link!! Mad about Pooh. Thank you for following Spyder's Corner.
Wow! A couple more and it 'll be the magical 300! (although, have noticed, blogger can't count!?!) I'll have to do an extra freebie!! Yep, a 300 followers freebie! (watch this space) Any suggestions for Wednesday's freebie?? How about a nice hedgehog? No? A frog? Someone wanted a dolphin and another wanted a fish blowing bubbles...
Raining here. Still, it makes the runner beans grow! Thank you for stopping by!

Give An Inch Or Five

Sorry, this was going to be a card but then I didn't have time to finish it and take a picture so....here's a few more Inches I've made for a forum swap. These are my second batch as I've sort of mislaid the first batch, I guess they'll turn up along with some house keys, last years hand made Christmas cards and of course that first plastic finger splint I lost and never found.
They had to be all of one colour, (that's the Inchies and not things I lost) so from the top, 'Feeling Blue' 'Racing Green' 'In The Pink' 'Blue Moon' and 'A Bit Browned Off.'
New Follower! Hi and a Big (((wave))) to Rascals with a new blog, welcome to Blogland!! Thank you for stopping by.

These little cute inchies arrived today from members of the CardMaking Forum Inchie Swap and I just had to take their pictures to show them off to you. Aren't they great... I mean small... Now, have you ever seen an easel inchie? Yes, it's an inchie easel. I've done a closeup of The Froggy because it's just too darn cute!

Tiny Little Inchies!

Another teeny weeny swap going on over on the CardMaking and PaperCraft forum. I did a couple or three, no four, teddies and Cats on real Inchie chip board no less! and added another one called 'Autumn' which I can never spell, because I can't see why it needs an N at the end. I have a little ditty to help me to remember how to spell it...don't laugh...I was about 7 when I made it up...Ache Under TUM Nasty. (or Auntie's Umbrella Turns Up My Nose) So I did ...autum... and then the N has 'fallen' off...(get it? fall? Autumn!? well, I thought it was clever) this one I did ages ago on ordinary card, but lost, it was probably part of this set here and suddenly appeared. Well, I'm not sure when it appeared. I just spotted it one day in one of my WOYWW photo's. As I've said before, things in my house just disappear into another time and dimension and turn up again as if they've never been away!
Ohoo quick, say 'Hi' ((wave)) to New follower!! (before they run away too) Anne from Anne's Place You must pop over and have a look at Anne's beautiful Wedding card.
Too many late nights...or early mornings for me this week, so night night, thank you for stopping by!

An Inchie Swap.

Not my best Inchies I know, but my mind appears to be blocked with something (a grotty dish cloth, a ball of string or perhaps something hairy found in vacuum cleaner bags...) and I just can't think! These are for a swap. The theme was Autumn. So I did leaves and added Rub ons and glitter. I did a few with trees and clocks and things but used this thick PVA glue and they sort of curled up and died, so they got binned! These aren't very imaginative I know. Most of the card I've used was once shopping bags, y'know the posh type you get from posh shops. Not that I go into posh shops, but people seem to think I like the bags and give them to me. Of course the first time this happen I got quite excited! That's because I thought there was a posh pressy inside the posh bag! Never quite sure what to put on the back of an Inchie, I mean, there's not much room is there! So, if anyone wants to tell me what they do, I'd love to know!!
Update on one of our lovely new followers! Irmina has changed her picture and now has a link!! So please pop over to Doll with a Soul by Nesca. You'll find some amazing little dolls, mermaids, fairies and little Pixies and all sorts of other things, which Irmina makes! A very clever lady! Back tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!
(Hey that was short! Has she gone?! Sssshh!!! she might come back!)

An Inchie Challenge: Leaves

Just rooted these out (yes, I know that should be routed, but I say rooted..) for Fiona's Challenge, over on Inchy by Inch. I usually secretly have a go but then well, something goes wrong, like, no camera to take the picture, or I lose the Inchy (cos they're sooo small) or the fairies come and take them away. (I'm fibbing)
Here's my 'Inchies' for the Inchy Challenge, 'Leaves'.
Off out now for a Hog Roast...I bet it's pink and has wings...the mind boggles.
Thanks for stopping by
That was short..
Well, she is only five foot two and a bit.

Woobly Eyes: Inches

A 100 inches in a 100 days...Yes I did them, only I couldn't do them on chipboard. I hunted it out, only to find one square that I probably could make nine of the little devils from, if I could cut them out without making any mistakes, for £1.99...so decided it would just cost too much, and my craft knife is pretty blunt. (They still try to keep me away from sharp things) By that time I'd already made at least thirty of them so thought, I'll still continue and make them the way I was going to make them, out of whatever I could find and my Woodware square inch punch. They didn't take as long as I thought they would! Little tiny Inches... Here's the first three.. 97 to go! (There were four of these but one appears to be off somewhere doing something. Blue stamped cat images, (Hobby Craft) fixed to a shiny dark blue mirri card, all with a wobbly eye, a couple of tiny holographic peel offs, a paw mark and a word made on the computer. I called them, "I spy" "CatsEyes" and "Eye'm purr-fect" I think I'll call the other one, "Eye'm Missing!"
Now, somewhere down in the depths of my Blog are a couple of Awards waiting for some forum friends to hurry up and start their Blogs and at last Toni44 has taken the plunge into BlogLand! Anne has some wonderful makes on the TrimCraft forum so I'm hoping she'll soon be posting them on her new blog Anne's Creative Moments too. I've decided to let her choose which one she'd like. (I love the teddy bear!) and when she's ready, she too can pass it on to five other blogs!
Oh yes! there's one more thing before I go! I've won a prize!! Whooopppeee!! I was blog-hopping earlier today and saw my name at the top of the prize winners list over on Dustin Pike's Blog, for my Card For Charlie. Ten first prizes to get two of his lovely digital images and a grand prize of a Dino Rubber Stamp from Papermakeup.com. So, while I nip over and choose which two images I'd love, (it's soooooo hard coz they're all fantastic) you can go and put the kettle on and have a bit of a break..on second thoughts, leave the kettle off, you'd just look silly....catch you tomorrow with a card for a challenge, more Blog Awards or maybe a few more Inches!

Inchies

Inches? When I first heard about them, I thought, mmm yes, okay. I know I've put on a few inches but there's no need to go on about it!
But of course they meant 'Inchies'. And after thinking someone might be pulling my leg, I still joined in a forum swap . Now I'm joining in with the challenge over on splitcoaststampers.com to make a hundred Inches in a hundred days. (Am I mad? Don't answer that!!)
It all started when I put the picture of the only set of Inchies I ever made, into their members gallery and instantly had an email to 'join in the fun'.
I believe the idea is we do a massive swap ~ that way we learn new skills and techniques, with plenty of new ideas too.
When I've finished my '100' (I have til June!) I'll show you, meanwhile, here's the set that got me started. I've used Papermania cats and flower peel offs, the paw prints were rub ons, tiny gems, flowers, beads, velum's, mesh, wire, brads and words were done on my laptop.
Thanks for stopping by! Oh and a warm welcome to my new followers! I think we've got enough to do the conga now, haven't we?!! Dada da da dada...
