The Quirky Challenge Goes 'Live'

It's Sunday!! and I can't keep it in any longer!!
The Quirky Craft's Fortnightly Challenges

are going 'live' today! The 'first' Challenge in Blogland has been set by Fe-Fe and she has chosen

"Love" or/and "Foreign!!!"

Now you can interpret that in any way you'd like! A Valentine's, Wedding or Anniversary Card, Fat page, Altered Art, ATC, a Scrap book page featuring your fabulous holiday away in some exotic place...like... the Isle of Wight or Paris!! Or even put the two ideas together! Anything that takes your fancy... Brad Pitt on Toast... Whatever!! Actually I was going to do a Paris Scrap book page, with me and him in doors...but...as you can see, I've chosen to make an easel Valentine Card instead. (More Bears Lyn?? Yes, I know, but they are sooo cute!! RThey're new, and this is the first time I've used them!) I've used, a Forever friends Clear Stamp set and decoupaged the little images, my Nestabilities for the scalloped circles. The Scrapbook paper is by Bo-Bunny and is called 'Heart Attack'

A Pink Petticoat Papertake Challenge

Just had to have a go at this, I only found it an hour ago! (Even though I did have an email a couple of days back...I forgot!) Not a brilliant picture seeing it's midnight! It's for a challenge over on PaperTake Weekly Challenge. So I might be too late... I followed a sketch and at first I thought you had to use Pink Petticoat papers, but after having a shifty at some of the other lovely cards, it seems you don't have to. Anyway...I used Pink Petticoat papers and the little bird image is Pink Petticoat too. The sentiment was typed on my laptop. I used Nestabilites, a Woodware punch and a cuttle bug die-cut run through my BigShot for the shapes and Ribbon from my stash. I really want to add something else ... not sure what though. Mock stitching? Maybe. I'll post a better picture tomorrow when the sun comes up and include the inside too...
(And as if by Magic!!... more pictures appear... much better!)

I'm so glad blogger has decided to use yellow writing on the follower box again, for a while it was black, did anyone notice? Really hard to see when your background's black too!
