Happy T stands for Tuesday! And a belated St Patrick's Day!

Happy (belated)St Patrick's Day....I did try to wear my March 17th T shirt...but, once again, forgot!  So I'm wishing everyone a Happy T Stands for Tea Day Tuesday instead. Pop over to Alteredbooklover and join in! Above I've added one of my cards, from waaaay back just to prove I did used to make cards every single day...

I'm in my craftroom, keeping out of the way of the workmen, still very busy with my Kitchen. Most of the doors are on, the sink's in (with water, although he did nip the water pipe!) and a tap! Yay! Did the washing up last evening...Of course there's

a lot of papercups about, once containing coffee or tea...or even hot chocolate!

If I open the cupboard door at the moment, apart from workmens tools, I'd find more cups and elsewhere...the odd paint brush in a papercup...

 and then, there's always Cola...

Well, not much food and drink this week. My boring breakfast is near enough the same, but in the living room, as the breakfast bar has gone. In the background you can see 'some' of the kitchen stuff piled up-

and guess whose arm that is on the TV? It's Ceri The Crafter's! I hope he doesn't mind!

One last picture, apart from going shopping with Daughter, and having a birthday meal with family (forgot to take pictures) I had some company over the weekend...Lola came to stay. She loves going out in the doggy pram...Don't forget to pop over to see what BleuBeard and Elizabeth have been up to! Thank you for stopping by!

Time For T on Tuesday. My Whizzer's Broken

Lola sitting on the Prof's lap.

It's Tuesday, so I'm popping over to join in with Altered Book's T is for Tuesday. Above is Lola. She's staying with me at the moment and is stopping me doing any crafting! Above she's sitting on the Proffessor's lap as I spent the morning keeping him and his two dogs company while Mrs Proff was out.  I made us coffee and toasted two hot cross buns for our elevenies. As you can see  all Lola wants is Cuddles and to chase any cats that come into the  garden, or go for short walks or shopping in the doggy pram or visiting anyone. It's about all I can do! No Crafting allowed!

Coffee with The Professor.

Oh yes...and filling her bowl with chicken, she loves chicken. My breakfast was a disaster this week, as the engine part of my fruit whizzer just sopped. It hums but longer whizzies!

Arrow pointing to broken base

Here it is...broken. Now in the other cupboard hidden in the darkest corner is a monster of a machine that John used a lot.. and it has an attachment jug.

Even that jug weighs a ton. I put the fruit in...with a bit of water.... and turned it on. It has 10 speeds and a palse...
Here it is, all moooshed up, but not as smooth as the other smaller lighter smoothie jug....(and some of the water leaked out from the bottom!)

So I took the old base into town (Lola came too) and visited all the shops I expected to find something simular... did I heck? No... "Oh, these are not really being made anymore..." or "You could try on line..." There was one, that had the grinder and the jug.... but no smoothy jug.... or a smoothy on its own. Now, if I were John, I'd take it to bits and mend it! So, after all that, Debbie my sil. sent me some online links and I did find some too (lord knows who they are) that had just what I wanted for over £110! (they weren't even half that new!)Then, the next add had the same for £49.... but who are these strange people? I'll try Debs links...later. But first...here's pictures of the Professors dogs.

They were both resued all the way from somewhere near Greece.

At the end of the day...I was totally wacked out. (Debs said I looked tired, I think she meant, old) So I got out my Harry Potter mug and had some Hot Chocolate!

Now? Where's that odd looking screwdriver? I'll have a look at that base! Hmm, I feel better already... Time for Lola cuddles. Thank you for stopping by!  Pop over and join in with Elizabeth and BleuBeard over on Alteredbooklover!

Happy T stands for Tuesday!

Happy April! First of April yesterday, which means... today, Tuesday the second, is the first time I put out my new Garden waste bin. (I lead such an exciting life...not) There wasn't much in it as it's been soooo wet, still it's the thought that counts. So I share my Breakfast this morning with T stands for Tuesday only it was very disappointing coz my blending thingy suddenly stopped working over the weekend, so no whizzed up fruit drinks for me, til I get a new one. Instead, I have been putting the fruit on my porridge... and managing to eat it with no added sugar. (yurk) Blogger's still being a pain about loading up photos and it taken me nearly all day just to get this far! So, I'll be very late joining in...

This mornings breakfast...

I made chicken soup with the left over Easter Chicken...

But best of all...Tom's lovely snack bought in the bike shop/cafe.

And last but not least, I have Lola staying with me and she wants a cuddle! Lift me up Lyn! That's it for now. Pop over to the AlteredBookLover and join in!  oho and my freebie birthday digi is still available via email for another week.

Thank you for stopping by.

What's On your Worktop today?WOYWW#686

Happy WOYWW!? For a minute I thought I'd missed it! I didn't start taking pictures till about five minutes ago and then I was waylaid with Lady Pam's little battery vacuum cleaner. Her little house is at last empty now and looking very sad. We've kept back the electric lawn mower too, so we can nip back at any time to have a mow and a vac. She always said we'd have a job clearing it out, and she wasn't wrong! Her two beds had to be sawn in half as there was no way they'd go down her very narrow stair case, making us all think, the bedroom walls must have been built, once the bedroom furniture was put in place.

So, back home and I'm still playing with those Perfect Pearls I played with last week. I've done a bit of embossing and bleaching,   played with a lovely die-set from the Memory Box Magazine and I've painted the flower pot gold....(It was there, so I painted it)  The little ginger house is a download, (pinterset) coloured on the computer and printed out.

And... I've only just realised that I can make boxes using my Adorable Scoreboard. (There's a youtube tutorial HERE) On the bottom left hand side it sez, box lid and on the right hand side it sez, box base. So you measure the lid on the left side (1.2. 3. etc) and then, measure for the base using the numbers on the right...(12. 11. 10 etc) because there's a little nic on the left hand side making that measurement a tiny bit bigger than the measurement on the left side) Genius!

Called into the Crafty Charity shop, took Lola the Chihahua with me in the puppy pram, she loves it!  Everyone wanted to fuss her. There was a bargain. A crafting trolly for £8. No I didn't get it, I thought about it though! I've been fancying one for ages and have been using Pam's shopping trolly, brand new, never used, and finding that very useful to take the odd crafty thing from my stash back to the shop for them to sell (for charity)  and when we've  been off camping or dog sitting. I can get a load of crafty things in it. And there was no way I could manage both the puppy pram and the crafting trolly. I get enough grins from people as it is! ('There's that weird bag lady!') That's it from me! The Wednesday Freebie is in the post below. See you all later over on Stamping Ground. Have a great week. Thank you for stopping by!

IT's A WOYWW DAY! #679!

Morning! Well it was when I started! Couldn't get in to link to Stamping Ground...but I will keep trying! Anyway! Happy WOYWW Day! The sun is trying to come out here, but there's a big black cloud heading this way! I hope it doesn't rain too much this weekend, as we're  off having another big 0 birthday treat somewhere in Cornwall. So! Here's my beach  I mean bench this morning. A right ol' mess. I'm trying to do two cards, one for somebody, umm- umm- umm. Mum's the word... (Just in case he peeks in here and see's itCovered most of it with the latest edition of Creative Stamping. If  I take my laptop with me, I'll show you it next week. Above is the left side. Below is my lastest find at the Crafty Charity shop...I must stop going there!
There's die cuts too. Sticky glue roll, doublesided tape, a few stamps, and that little puzzle stamp punch and some card. The scissors fell off their peg, just before I took the picture... show offs!
This is long ways down the bench, you can see in the bottom right corner that those little puzzles actually fit together . The other things out I may use later for the Birthday card.
~The doggy birthday paper is a red heron!) but you can download them for free. here You may have to login.

Another thing I nabbed at the outlet warehouse for that Charity shop, was this red cabinet. This shop deals mainly in furiture, and as I heaving two of the six bags for charity from Lady Pam's, I spotted it!  "Oh Yes!!" sez me, "Oh No!" sez hubby...but he bought it for me anyway! It's going to hold my card/ glitter card/ miri card etc, as the shelf has started to bow! I'll be able to have my A4 card and paper, colour coded.

And lookie Lookie see! ATC's all  the way from USA from Silvia (arrived last Wednesday and was added late) and one all the way from Australia from Susan! Thank you! Love them!

One last picture! Lola.
Here she is having a roll in the grass. She went home yesterday and I'm still finding things she hid! Crazy little dog!  Have a great week! Happy WOYWW! Keep on Crafting!

This Weeks Freebie, Better late than never...CLOSED

He's a house snail....He travels around  everywhere, really slowly. It's taken him all week to get here. I seem to rush about everywhere and nothing gets done. I've had him, the snail that is, in my head...no, not him, (oh yuk!) the thought of him, as Hubby's been  thinking about caravaning again, so we could zoooom off somewhere, only they are a lot bigger and taller, the caravans that is, not the snails, than they used to be. Not sure if one would go....or slide, down the side of the house anymore... Hubby menioned something about, guttering. Right, stop talking.

This is Lola....(she was a showgirl...) making a mess in my Living Room, which is why I'm soooo late this week. She doesn't sit still for five seconds! Bless her! Thank You for stopping by! Happy Crafting!

Time For T Stands for 'Tuesday'.

I've missed a few T for Tuesdays as I've either had dogs to walk, stay or sit with or I've been having fun with grandkiddies down in Cornwall!  The later being so much more fun so there's been no time to comment or blog. I keep telling myself, 'You have retired' but the only thing that's true to that statement is the 'tired' bit'... zzzzzzzzzzz! T for Tuesday is hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard over on Altered Book Lover -go and have a peep! The first picture above is my latest Charity shop mug....but it's empty!  That's because there's a recipe  inside and on the outside, to bake a chocolate cake in the mug! So of course I've just done that now....and after three minutes in the microwave...
Chocolate Yumminess! It says to add two squares of dark chocolate in the middle  of the mixture so it melts, but I think it could do with four!
If I had managed to play T for Tuesday last week, you would've seen this Charity shop Monster Mug (with a pocket for his cookies! Not chocolate ones as they melt!)

Our few days away in Cornwall, near Padstow, were spent with Hubby filming the grandkiddies on the beach. The waves where rolling in and quiet high. It looks a long way out but moments later one of those little ripples came gushing over those rocks and filled their wellie boots!
A creepy house in Padstow looking out over the harbour. Sort of boasts Pirates and Smugglers! I wonder what it looks like inside!?
And looking out to sea was this metal Surfer....hoping the Tide is bringing in some
big surfing waves!

Once back home, drinks and a family meal in a pub in Bournemouth and little Lola came with us!

She ordered the drinks...

And watched what was going on perched on 'Uncle' Pat's Arm! (bil)

She was also a great food Tester!
While we were in Cornwall, Mr Jinx stayed with Aunty Karen at her cattery. Here he is sleeping in his little house! That's it from me this Tuesday. Have a great day! Thank you for stopping by!

I say? What's On Your Worktop Wednesday? #651! And T for a Very late Tuesday

Woyww #651 I wonder how many crafty things we've all made since WOYWW #1?  Millions I should think! Click on the link and come and join in! And if you've popped over  for Tea  from T for Tuesday, yes I'm 'running' (I can't run for toffee!) a bit late! So have joined you onto this post. My craft space hasn't really changed a lot since Sunday... only a little 'tidier', after the Grandkiddies. Note Naimh changed the date on the wooden calender...I never remember!

Very happy to find these little tiny die-cuts at half price at The Works.
And for those of you who haven't had to have a
Covid Flowflex Rapid Test (for self testing) yet... Here's mine from Monday. I have to do one everytime I visit my brother. Odd though, they let him out to go for Sunday Lunch with his two daughters, plus two others... what about all the pub people he was mixing with? I was meant to visit but... there was Sunday Lunch on offer, so I had to cancel, again. Saw him Monday instead. The little red line means I'm clear... but if there were two!!!!? Self isolate for 10 days! This is a bit like an MOT, for a car, it's only good for that one visit!
We had Lola the little dog to stay over...and Niamh and Lola got on swimmingly!
Lola jumping for a toy, which is bigger than her!

and one last picture of my cocoa Mug again... it's definetly a mug and not a tea pot... the little hat holds some cocoa, so you can sprinkle some on the top! That's it from me for this week! Have a fabulous Crafty WOYWW Tea Day. Thank you for stopping by!
