The Bunny and the Hen... ( ATC)

I actually saw a hen chase a bunny today. And did you know? A hen will eat a mouse if they find one! Just a bit of trivia I thought I'd share! But luckily these too are the best of buddies! I imagine the bunny is saying "Is spring here yet?" and the Hen is standing on the bunny's head, so she can 'look see!' You can find this fab freebie over at Bee Crafty
This one's not a card, it's an ATC. In the past I have done quite a few of these. This was made for an 'animal swap' on CMPC forum. Of course I'm also hoping (or should that be hopping?!) to add it to Bee Crafty's Challenge and a few more! The background is of course my own. Coloured with Promakers, and note, no smudging!! as I used my old printer, so there's a tip, don't buy expensive inks for your printers, cheaper ones are so much better for digis!
New Followers Hi and a big {{wave}} to Helen from Dearly Enchanted, Svetlana, with no link, Audrey from My Cards and Nikki from Meonheadz Illustrating! Nikki draws the most cutest freebie digi's, pop over and see!! Thanks for hopping by!

ATC's Let's Puurrrrty, With The Fat Cats!

Here's my ATC's for my swap over on Card Making & Paper Craft Forum. The Theme was Let's Party, and I've used some Fat Cat Digi's. These were on a PC-CD-ROM from the magazine 'Complete Cardmaking make beautiful cards with your PC Issue 24' from last year. I missed this copy when it came out, so went on line (mainly because I wanted those Fat cats!) and was lucky enough to buy it a little cheaper before it sold out! But for a free download of the Fat Cat Fred Christmas Digi's, which is different from above, but the same mad Fat Cats and appeared in Issue 61 of PaperCraft Essentials, Click Here You may have to 'login' but then you can always come and say hi, on the 'Crafts-On-The-Net' forum! and there's always other freebies for you to hunt out! ***Update*** see post above for freebie links to the Fat Cats you see used here.

Christmas ATC's

Morning everyone! I was up early. There's this cockerel...have I mentioned him before??? Ok, I was brought up on a farm, with farmyard noises and smells... but to have him at the bottom of my garden ~ the deeds of our home says we can't keep chickens but it doesn't apply to the people behind us. At one time they had bigger gardens but sold them off, so where there were two bungalows (and one mad cat woman) there's now six... (and no mad cat woman) and the one original home left, still has chickens, ~just on the other side of a six foot fence and a hedgie bit, crowing all day from 5 in the morning til 7 at night, is very annoying!! Even the guys who came to re-roof our garage just before Christmas wished they'd had a shot gun...Turkey for Christmas? It was very nearly Cockerel!!
Okay, that had nothing to do with ATC's but here's my swap for Spyder's Christmas Atc swap over on Card Making & Paper craft Forum... I did do six...but...yep, I can't find three of them!! I used these cute Teddies, which came free in a Mag about two years ago. They are sooo cute... drawn by Margaret Sherry, famous for those fabulous Penny Black Images. Hey...shhh! The cockerel's stopped! ... it wasn't me Officer, honest!! I'm late for work... Thanks for stopping by!

ATC Swap: 3D Poppies

So, what can you make from a 6x6 sheet of backing paper? Four ATC's and an Inchie, what's what!
Which gave me the idea for these. Seeing we didn't have quite so many swappers on the November ATC swap over on the CM&C forum, I decided to make a few more.
Of course I wasn't going to heat emboss the added (ready cut chipboard) Inchie, but I rubbed the PVA glue off a little too hard on one of them and it roughed it up a bit. I thought, (wrongly) a bit of clear embossing might hide it!
Of course I had to use two 6x6 sheets of paper in the end to make these, but we won't mention that!
I ended up using the left over scraps and decoupaging a few more bits. They're a bit curly in the photo as my daylight lamp gets very hot!! And you can't really tell they've been decoupaged.
I think these papers might be from K&Co, but seeing my local (not really a) craft shop only sells them as single sheets, I'm not sure.

Now, can you tell which Inchie got roughed up a bit? probably not. (Do you care? Not really!)

I still think they need something else don't you? (besides throwing in the nearest bin)
How about a little bit of Stickles glitter? Hang on a sec...
There you go...That's better.
I was hoping to find a few little challenges somewhere and have ffound one for the 'butterfly' ATC... that's of course if they don't mind ATC's! (as it has a butterfly on it!) and a few others too...
Other ATC's in this CP&PC Swap here and here...or just scroll down

ATC Swap. Poppies, Remember

Here's my ATC's for last months Swap over On the CM&PC forum. The other swaps you'll find here, or just scroll down to Monday's post (Bloggers being a pain!)
The decoupage poppies are from a Country Diary calendar, I think was a freebie from CP&PC Magazine (check out their freebie download papers anyway) about two years ago. (2008 for 2009 most likely) I've just used a tiny bit of Xmas Red Stickles Glitter. I did the sentiment on the computer and of course the font is a freebie, called AdineKirnberg-S, which I'm sure I've linked before. (bit small so you'll have to boost it up to 22-24, instead of 12)
While blog hopping I found this lovely Calendar using the same poppies but from Joanna Sheen's CD. And here's a video link if you'd like a look 'inside' Joanna Sheen's Country Diary Calendar CD
(I love the music!)

November ATC Swap from CardMaking & PaperCraft

Just a tag late with this, knew I'd taken the pictures and thought, (with my very small brain) that I'd posted this ages ago but... no sign of it anywhere. Of course in the past I've found things posted wayyy back in 2009 by mistake, I probably put in the wrong time and date... so, maybe it is there somewhere... anyway, here are all the lovely ATC's sent to me for the Swap over on the CM&PC Forum...

Aren't they great! Where's mine?? Aw.... somewhere in 2009 I think!

Hallowe'en ATC's for CM&PC Swap.

My last month's ATC swap over on the Card Making & Paper Craft Forum just had to be Halloween, or Autumn (for those who didn't do Halloween) and these are my little lot. If you missed the swaps made by other forum members Click here.
I already had one left over from last year so decided to make a few more on the same lines. Then (at last) my mojo started coming back and I ended up making nine, so ten all together.
So I have a few left over ready for next year now! I've used a mixture of paper scraps. Pink Petticoat papers on the backgrounds on the two sets above. Everything else came from Scrapbooking Mad Hocus Pocus Halloween 1 and 2 and Fright Night, and the mad looking green spiders papers came from Free Digital Scrap Booking, (Link's been on my side bar for yonks for these fab freebies!) most of the papers have been made a lot smaller of course (SBM have a sale at the moment!) The bat was punched out with my M.S. bat corner punch. I've also used my M.S. spider-web punch too.
With these ATC's, I had a play in 'My Craft Studio' (just the freebie CD that came with a magazine earlier on in the year) and made a couple of digital ACT's. I like the fact there's no white box around the witch, (Bugaboo) and you can move her over any back ground you chose, and shrink everything to any size, then just print. No cutting round those fiddly bits! A lesson I must learn for my own digi's. I have done it, then completely forgot how I did it! (very small brain!) I coloured the witch and her cat with ProMarkers. The bat backing paper was a freebie from the Crafter's Companion. Every month I get sent a link to some lovely freebies, so well worth signing up for their Newsletter !
I still have a few ATC's left over, so I'm nice and early for next year! Any guesses at 'witch' one was last years ATC? (Clue: it has the FDS freebie green spiders on it)
New Followers ...It keeps going from 409 to 408 and back to 409 but out the back and in the dark it slips to 405....(I think blogger's forgotten how to count!) Hi and welcome to (((Big Wave))) OwlBeeScrapin' Fabulous blog so pop over and say hi!
That's it for now, have a safe and careful Bon-fire night. Make sure your animals are safe.
We've off to the hospital now, mum-in-law's had to go back. Thanks for stopping by.

ATC Swaps CM&PC: Egyptian & Vintage

Monthly swap over on Card Making & Paper Craft forum this month was Vintage and/ or Egyptian. My swaps are below on Monday's post, but these lovelies are what arrived over the last few weeks from forum members plus a few Raks for me, thank you!...Aren't they great!
Most people chose Egyptian. The colours on some of these are amazing. My photo's haven't done them justice at all. When you think we were probably running around in animal skins and throwing rocks at each other, the Egyptians were building Temples, Pyramids, and Obelisk's and adorning themselves in fine silks and spun gold, whilst decorating their cities with lavish paintings...oh yes, and bathing in asp's milk too...(No, that was the Romans in a Carry-On film Lyn, and it was ass's milk...rolls eyes))

King Tut Rules...Ok?

My September ATC swap, over on the Card Making and Paper Craft Forum (that's the posh end, look for their freebie papers) was Vintage and /or Egyptian.(click here for forum end )
Haven't really got anything Vintage, well, I have and I did have a play in My Craft Studio with a few images, but couldn't print them out as I'm still waiting for my ink! So fell back (ouch!) on my old favourite, King Tut, although he might not be King Tut, but he is Egyptian...or doing a very good impression of one!
I've blogged about him before, here and I've also blogged about him here too, so won't add any links about the Valley of the Kings, Tutankhamen, Tut or the Book of the Dead secrets ... oh! okay...just this once!!
Leave the YouTube music on, then come back here to read this... you'll find the post not half so boring!!
I've used some Egyptian papers, (which I've already blogged about ages ago too) Stamped images, some coloured with gel pens (three free with PaperCraft Inspirations mag this month along with other things) and some coloured with just ProMakers and some with ProMakers and the Glitter Gel pens and some with mostly glitter Gel pens. All their faces were done with ProMakers though.
When I was taking these pictures the face finder thingy came on the camera, so I think it's caught the faces quite well. In fact, they I think they actually look better here than they doin real life!
I fixed the Pharaoh on with either 3D foam pads or Pinfare glue. Did a bit of gold embossing and added a few bits and Bob's your uncle! I've made five, only because I can't count, actually I made six, but didn't finished it.
Here's a link to some freebie Egyptian backing papers I found

This week we have two visitors staying with us. My eldest daughter, Emma, her hubby Tom have left their cats with us, while they got off and have fun for a week... Ozzie and Missie. Frog is not amused!
The last time they stayed over was Christmas and they were a lot smaller then! This is Ozzie at Christmas, in Emma's Christmas tree, he climbed up ours too!
And this is Ozzie this afternoon, attacking one of my polar bears and pulling out the laptop wires... as you can see, he's grown quite a lot!!
New Follower! Hello ((wave)) and welcome to Kellh23UK, no link and nothing at all on Google, (oohooo!) but welcome anyway! That's it for now... there was going to be more ATC's but the camera's batteries are flat...Not my day, is it!! See you tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by! (Don't for get to turn YouTube off!)
