Everbody Loves Penny Black

Haven't done a Penny Black card for ages and I was getting withdrawal symptoms. So here's one! It's been stamped, embossed and coloured with (for a change) water colour paints. I've 3D-ed the balloons and the little hedgehogs, all but one, who lost his leg, or rather, I didn't stamp him out very well. I'm thinking now, that I shouldn't be so lazy and may stamp another hedgehog and fix him over the one that's there, so they're all 3D. I might do.

I used 'Pretty Please Spring Papers by My Mind's Eye, which was a freebie 6x6 pack from Cardmaking and Paper Craft Magazine a few months back. (don't forget they have freebie paper's to download, click the link) Stickles glitter, Nestabilities, (Scalloped Circles Large) Woodware punches, a butterfly charm and a MS fern punch for the leaves. Oh and an ordinary hole puncher for the very tiny dots in the centre of the flowers.

The tiny Happy Birthday stamp was from a Popcorn set, (wish I'd used a bigger one now!) The circle it's been stamped on is part of the M.M.E. 6x6 papers.

I've followed a 'sketch' over on Everybody-Art- Challenge, where I won a prize the other week!
My lovely Sarah Kay clear stamp, arrived last week... it's envelope eaten to shreds!! but luckily, ok!

I'm also hoping I can fit this card into the Penny Black Saturday Challenge because I'm sure it's 'Flowers' this week. Also Practical Scrapper's want you to use punches. Your Stamp Challenges is cut it out and pop it up. Hope I'm in time for that one! And Paper MakeUp Challenge need three flowers.
