Happy WOYWW!? #885 with a washi freebie?

Happy WOYWW?!  I've only just managed to get onto my laptop, I mean sit by it, not 'on it'...with 2 seconds to spare, it's been doing silly things; I think it's a bit jeaulous of  a laptop I found in John's Mancave (now gone!)  It used to belong to Lady Pam, John's second
cousin twice removed, (what does that mean?) But it needn't've worryed as the date on it is 2010-so it's been many years in a darkened case covered in cobwebs.

At the very top of this post, is last weeks start on my ATC's. I thought I'd made 9, but after double checking the photo, there is only 8. Above is how they ended up.

I have sent some off already and you may have them,  but sometimes I think the postie forgets to collect them...then I ran out of stamps....so a few of you will get them later...and seeing I'm doing a couple of Dogs/house sitting this coming few weeks...(you know where I'm going with this...)

Back to the demolishing of the Man Cave...that was hard to see go. It took two men all day...

And this was the skip after family helped to clear it out, most of what you see was in the shed half....everything was getting wet as there was a hole in the roof that side...On John's side, Matt said, it was so well insulated, you could've lived in it!

The rose took a bit of a battering... but everything else was fine!

Meanwhile, I did a bit of Washi Tape master Boarding
This was the inside cover...and below is the front cover once folded in half
You could copy and save it, if you like...I'll try and take a better picture for next week.... Well, that's it for now, thank you for stopping by! Have a Happy WOYWW!?

Last WOYWW of 2025! #865

Happy last WOYWW of 2025! Wellll, I nearly didn't make it as once again, I'm house/dog sitting over the holiday (plus visiting family etc) and time just bubbles by with furballs, doggy things, Christmas decorations and fairy lights...  It's a very frosty morning here where I'm staying. I do have the odd picture of what I've been making....mostly a mess, as life comes in like a tidal wave and things can only balance in a push-back pile for so long, so I was using the Hall floor as well..

I was going to do a freebie but still haven't found my wacom pen....it's out there some where. Was thinking of buying myself a new wacom, but eeeekkkk.... I need a bit more, a lot more, Christmas money!!

Last time I was staying here dog sitting, I was covering boxes... or maybe cutting out little file folder thingies, when I went home...

So you may've seen these pictures before...

Mostly this month I've been, when I could squeeeeze in the time, making Christmas cards, using these papers...

Here's a finished card...this one I kept flat as it was going to be posted
And to finish off...the dogs I'm looking after. Remi and Bronte.

 Remi...

and  Bronte, snoozing.
There's also a cute little cat that pops in when I'm at home... That's it!!! Have a great New Year....(I'll be waiting to watch Stranger Things) Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in! Thank you for stopping by!

Happy WOYW-Wednesday! #833-atcs

Happy WOYWW!? Hope you're all having a very crafty week. I'm still trying to orginised everything but made time for WOYWW, so pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in. Now, above is what my ATC's ended up as. There's a larger version of my favourite one at the bottom of last weeks post. Most of these have gone but there are a few left. (they have numbers) I can take a bigger picture  of each one, if you don't want to 'post' swap.

Last Wednesday Mary Anne's ATC arrived! She must have a magic wand! Then yesterday two more arrived..

Annie's with her fabulous collage and stitching and (Felix The Cat) Angela, sent this lovely book mark which is already in use!

 Angela
If you still haven't recieved mine yet, let me know, my local post box always seems to be already emptied, which means any new letter added may be stuck there for days! (Or of course with my small brain I may have forgotten to post it at all!)

the unused stamps

And! if you were charged extra for postage please let me know, it wasn't til much later that I relised I'd used the ordinary 1st class stamps and not the Large letter first class stamps....( the ones sent over the pond will  be okay)

I am still catching up with the painting in the house and out side, but I have taken loads off the tall bushes and dug up others...Most of my pots have been done, still a few more to go and then still more planting and weeding to get on with... but first, today I want to have a second attempt at trying to register my new appliances, not looking forward to that! I haven't even used the oven yet. I'm rubbish with numbers over the phone and even writing this I have to google how to spell most words first. I know I need an invoice, well, a few months back I found something in one of the bushes I was about to saw down...it was a bit wet and snail chewed, with loads of numbers, so I shoved it  into the back of what was the airing cupboard. Luckily!!! This has all the infro they need but I know I'll never get all those numbers right...they said they'd email me...so far, no email. Why? Probably because I didn't smell  spell out my email right!

One last picture of my fav ATc for those who don't want to postie swap! You can just copy and paste this one. That's it for now....it's just started raining here! Be gone weeds! I WILL pull you up!! Happy WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!

Happy WOYWW!? Last weeks and this weeks.....#829 and #830

Hello WOYWERS hope you are all well and fighting fit! (well, fit will do...we don't want any fighting!) No, I haven't been about... but house sitting dogs is now over, for now, and I am home, phew! Above and below was last weeks desk...in the sunroom, where I was staying.

But it got a bit hot in there, I did have the doors open, but the dogs kept charging off after the squirrels, so I moved into the kitchen and added a bit more...and on this weeks worktop...

I went (again) to the Crafty Charity Shop that opened a new bigger premises a few weeks ago. (hundreds were tryin to get through the doors then!) Anyway, not too many people this time, so a chance to browse, and I got, two new 12x12 scrap book paper packs, white with  60 sheets, 260gsm  and the black with 50, 200gsm, which will fit nicely into those lovely scrapbooks I grabbed last time! Then some, never been used HunkyDory goodies, two or three die cuts, Sheena diecuts with stamps, Moonstone die cuts...(I looked them up....you have to buy the stamps separately...) more stamps and that alphabet diecut box by Sizzix (an oldie, but probably never been used) So, no real craftyness done...just a bit of playing! A real bargain of the week me thinks! Well, that's it for now!! Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in!!  Thank you for stopping by!

House dOg Sitting WOYWW #828 And A Tea For TUesday!

Hello! Morning, afternoon! Sorry I haven't been around! Not enough hours in the day!! Happy WOYWW!? As for the coming up ATCs swap for the Anniversary, I'm definitely joining in with that!! I'm house/dog sitting for at least another week and a bit. So>>>not a lot of Crafty stuff done...although I have been stamping with a new stamp and die bug set by AALL &CREATE< which arrived in the week with other crafty stuff...and made a 'no cutting' box, hmmm yes...I nipped home on Monday and took dogs with me, to fill my garden waste bin...only to find out later, that I hadn't paid for this year...so they didn't take it....how mean!? It's still April after all....never mind, it's all  'bin' sorted out now.

I really like the stamp and die set. The bugs are quite big. The only thing is, when you die cut them, the Fig number is a little too close, so on some of them and bits get cut off....

I'm joining in with Altered Book Lover's T For Tuesday with my cup of Ginger and Turmeric Oraganic Infusion...quite tasty. I've actually saved some of this tea in a jar...was going to show you that last week, and some T dying, but with the Kitchen still an on going and the dogs I ran out of time...

Lola in the sunroom in the pram

WELL, it's very hot in the sun room...so it's time to go do something else. And seeing I'm dog sitting, I'm taking them all (Lola's here too) back to mine, to do my other bins, ready for tomorrows rubbish collection. It's all go here!...Thank you for stopping by.

It's WOYWW!? #826

Happy WOYWW!? I have something on my next this week...I've been shopping.....The little Crafty Charity Shop that closed ages ago, is back, bigger and better than ever!!! The grand opening was today, and it was packed!!!

I spied this media book for a £1; I'm sure it must be new, no painty finger prints!

My favourite thing was this scrapbook for £2.

If you open it up, there's folded bits that when unwrapped, you can take out the chicago screws to add your 12x12 papers on either side. I have some longer shank Chicago Screws so, hopely will be able to add loads of papers...

I also nabbed some dies..£1.50 and £3....In the top right hand corner you can see the Chicago Screws I'd taken out of the scrap book.

Then two brand new Stamping up inks jumped into my basket for £1.50...After that I visited Big George, a lovely dog I used to look after. Then, I nipped over to Christchurch to see if I could be let off that £100 parking fine, for parking in the pubs car park...and yes! Seeing I could prove I was there having a meal and not just parking  and scooting off some where else. After that I nipped into The Works and bought some document wallets (5 for a £1) and  a set of pattern rollers, £3. They should be fun to play with.

Well, that's my day done...the workmen say they have finished the kitchen...but they've left an awfull amount of rubbish in the drive... they still have to add a drawer front that was missing...and then...that should be it! I'll have a grand opening! That's it from me, don't forget the Wednesday Freebie is coming up next, in the meantime, pop over to SarahsCraftShed and join in! Thank you for stopping by.

Happy T day...and Happy WOYWW!? #814

Morning! Afternoon! Evening! Yesterday and Today...Happy, whatever day it is...I'm not sure, as I'm still fighting with Christmas dec's, they really don't want to be put away! So, since about Sunday, I think, I've been trying to get them back into their boxes and up into the attic! It's not a one person thing, so....Happy T day...and Happy WOYWW!? #814

This was our T Time Spread at Daughter's for Christmas Day evening. Oliver was helping. Above top, is my T for Tuesday's Breakfast.... wasn't sure which drink to choose, so added what I had. (Fridge needed clearing out anyway) I chose Beetroot in the end, as it needed finishing up....Probably drunk too much...did you know it turns your pee, pink!

And this is what I was doing a few minutes ago. This afternoon I had a happy-mail package from Craftstash...two Papersociety Boxes  and two lots of magnets with clear see-through envelopes bundles...These magnet sheets are soooo much thinker than the ones I have been buying, so much so, they wouldn't fit inside their envelopes...so's here's me chomping them down a tad, so I can get them in and close the flap down...
Really very pleased with these....so tomorrow, I'll be back taking all the dec's out of their boxes, putting them in bags and then taking the empty boxes up the ladder to the attic...then the bags...one at a time... and refilling the boxes.... I was thinking I'd leave them in the Man-cave or the garage but... I'm getting a new Kitchen! Something my John promised and wanted to do himself. I've been told I need to clear all my kitchen cabinets out so I need the space in the bedrooms, hall, garage, and man-cave for all the kitchen things and boxes of cans and food etc.... my life is never boring...just very complicated! Hope you all have had a Happy T day and a Happy WOYWW!? too. Thank you for stopping by.

Happy WOYWW #806

Happy WOYWW every one....thought I'd better join in this week as it's Sarahs half year anniversary from taking over hosting WOYWW slot every week. Well done Sarah!  As always, these days, I'm up to my eyeballs in crafty rubbish creative stuff and haven't made anything, but just 'tried' to organise things, impossible, as there just isn't enough space. I'm thinking of adding three bins...one for 'throw away' one for 'keep', and one for 'charity or give away'....and maybe, and extra one for 'sell' (Won't happen though, will it?! No, most likely not...1000 to one chance)

The Very Top picture...at last there's not such a big heap on my normal craft space...that's coz it's all got dumped in the living room (and bedroom) to 'sort out' not on the ironing board this time, but on a wallpaper paste table...it doesn't take any weight though, so there's not much on it...
A lot of my 'sets' like this Alice one above, now live in these files, which I can keep in a
ring-binder, there are a few stamp doubles.
A closer look at the worktop in the craftroom...nice to see I have a white top (leftover from a kitchen top years back) Well, have  a happy What's On Your Worktop Wednesday...Even though I've retired, I do have two dogs to take out this morning...plus a couple of weird visits to do....So, pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW!?#794

Welcome to What's On your Worktop Wednesday! Nip over to Sarah's Craft Shed to find out more! Sorry to eveyone for last week...I didn't get around to you all, as blogger wouldn't let me comment or, on some blogs, I couldn't find where the comment  thingies were and was fast running out of time! Or??  Something else?! Above are some yellow boxes that Kittle The cats mum gave me. To their left is what I did with the last two she gave me...They're filled with mostly labels and stickers.  Sadly, Kittle passed away at the beginning of the month, I shall miss cat sitting her so much. 😢
To answer a question from last week,
from BJ, which I think I answered but couldn't see the comment.... (I will double check again later) Trollys! You can never have enough trolly or anything on wheels in a small crafty space! Here they are...
Last weeks trolly
Trolly #1 is from Hobby Craft. At the time they were £25 down to £20 and is in  my craft room at the moment holding paint and some gel-printing stuff...
Trolly #2

Trolly #2 is at the moment in the bedroom, to make more room as I have dogs staying. I bought it second hand along with a lidded box from a charity craft shop for £10

Trolly #3 Ikea

Trolly # 3 was the very first one John bought me from Ikea, it was nearly half price in their sale, £50 down to £30...Waaay over priced but it's taller  and stronger and holds crafty stuff as well as doubling up as a table for a lamp in the living room. The wooden top is from Hobby craft.

Trolly #4
Trolly #4 is usually kept in  what was the airing cupboard, when not in my craft room. This was bought from Lidl (or Aldi?? ) for £12.00. The A B C on the trays I stuck on when I was putting it together as they seemed to be different sizes and took ages to screw to the frame!  Best one? probably Ikea... but should be cheaper I think...Hobby Craft do them in a lot more colours! I could still do with another one!! That's it from me!! Happy WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!
