Suze's Card using One of my Freebie Backgrounds

I was really chuffed when I saw Suze's Beetle car  card as her latest DT make, using that washi-tape freebie I put up a few weeks ago, and was about to post it on blogger when...

1. I rememebered blogger's being really mean again and I can't load photos, (so no Wednesday freebie last week either) and then...

2. I suddenly zoomed off   thinking I had an eye appointment that I was very late for! But no, that's on Friday!  But the nice lady still had a space to fit me in. Now!! This is now. Today. Sunday. Bro-in law has sorted out the problem...evidently it was trying to download from a 'cloud' ??? Yes, I know...what clould?? (But looking at it now, that's probably what it's always done) Anyway!!! Here's Suze's card using the freebie of a few weeks back and that  lovely beetle car! Fabulous! SOOOO pleased, touch wood, I can now add photo's although, different way than before.... I'll put in links later! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Take Two. WOYWW!? 750 (with no pictures-yet)

 Bargain of the week

 Morning WOYWW-ERS!
(or goodevening!)I nearly didn't join in this week as I have sooo many  new compucated things for me to do and sort out and they're over flowing my brain# with sooo much fizzzz, I just couldn't THINK! Then, that voice in my head, not sure which one, said, 'What do you want to do??"  'Craft' sez me...'join in with WOYWW and T for Tuedsay'...(which I started...but didn't finish...) So, here I am...BUT THEN!!! Google will not let me download my images unless  I click on 'allow' ....and there's a picture of a cookie.. So I click on ''allow".... and 70million clicks on "allow" later, and it still won't  let me download my pictures...so...I've just paste and copied them...but sometimes, when I do this...I  can't see the pictures!'...Anyway! On wards, I will NOT be beaten! Above, if you can see the picture....I can't, is my bargan of the week, die cut set from a charity shop, it has die cuts for building a frame and...because the thick A4 magnetic sheet is double sided, it has another die set, which might be something to do with making journals, or not...

Not showing my kitchen mess this week as it's covered in ringbinders overflowing with bills, which I'm trying to sort out but there is a tiny bit of 'crafty stuff' on the little tv table in the living room...(my brother in law would say 'rubbish', and then send for a skip)  I also picked up that Sixix Easter set, never been used... and a metalic 6x6 paper pad from The Works. Meanwhile, I'm still continuing to put my dies and stamps into those plastic packets from Temu. Getting rid of the larger packaging is giving me a tiny bit more storage space.

Simply Cards and Papercraft mag came yesterday, so I downloaded some Christmas papers. That's it from me....as blogger is now taking an age to  save just one letter! No... it's failed again!

AGH!!! I've worked out why it won't save...it doesn't like the paste and copy photos! I've re-written the post without the photos, so you'll just have to use your imagination!! See, or maybe not see, you over on Stamping Ground later. I don't think so!

Wots going on!!?

Okay....I'm going to have to rewrite my WOYWW post.... as something is very badly up with blogger!!! ohooo its saving this....will it let me upload a picture?...no

At last! A Wednesday Freebie -on a Wednesday! Closed

Yes! At last a Wednesday Freebie! Puss in a Pumpkin. Hope you like it! A comment would be lovely and make me very happy!  I'm off to house/dogsit for the evening, so better make sure I have some treats! Thank you for stopping by!  CLOSED

WOYWW #749???

Morning WOYWW-ERS! What's On Your Work top this Wednesday? Hope you're all doing, so much more exciting things than I am! I'm still in the kitchen. Above I'm adding things to my little filos  (Video last week) and I've almost finished the 'Secret Garden' (papers by Graphic45 a magazine freebie from decades ago!)

 Secret Garden flippy book

 A peek inside
The note book seen here, came with other goodies from Temu, I just 'ruffed' it up a bit more.

Little pocket freebie seen in the pocket on the right is from VectoriaDesigns. (It's the wrong colour, coz my printer was printing pink!) Small tip....if you use those little die-cut tabs that I've used on the side, they are fine, but if you use them where the pages fold right out, as this does on some of the pages as it turns and goes round the back of the booklet, it would be best to only fix them on just one side, and not the folding side because when you open the page up they do the splits, and they don't like that!

I'm counting this as my Bargain of the week...  12x12 from The Works, £3. Spooky tissue paper from Tesco, £1.50 (will be cheaper next month after Halloween I didn't think she was well, and the heat gun found at the bottom of a large bag filled with crafty stash. Hardly used, given to me by my daughter, Emma as they were moving house last week and decided to have a clear out of some of her's and Niamh's crafty stash. It's so much better than mine. Two speeds, a stand and it's so CLEAN! I will probably give it back once they've settled in.

 Who can spy John?

Yesterday I mowed the lawn to help fill up my green garden bags because I thought it was collection day Tuesday, it wasn't!! That was last week, you mophead! Sigh. I forgot to put the bottle box out...a monthly collection, but that didn't matter, because there wasn't even a jam jar in there. Now, if John was still here, both boxes would've been filled to over flowing, but to be fair, we would've had more visitors to help add to the pile!

This week, Frances (the Airedale man) who is helping with the bikes popped in to put the blue bike on charge as it's being advertised in the same magazine that John wrote an actical all about when he rebuilt the it from scratch...yes, a bit like Trevor's Broom really, (See, only fools and horses for those who have no idea what that means) Hope that's the right clip...I've had no sound on youtube for ages even though all the volume dials are up full blast! Keep thinking I've gone deaf! And speaking of deaf, because she was; the little hissy-scratchy pussy cat passed away. I took her round to her owner because I just knew she wasn't doing too well, (and the fact that she didn't scratch my arms off as I picked her up, proved that) and a few days later her owner let me know.. So I expect she's now playing with Mr Jinx... Well, I've gone on far longer than I was going to! So that's it from me. Must get on with some card making! Don't forget to pop over to Stamping Ground and join in!  Happy WOYWW! Thanks for stopping by.

Just In Time For Tea On Tuesday...

I'm late, as always but I'm sure it's still Tuesday somewhere in the world. Joining up with Altered Book Lovers trip around the crafting blogs, to see what everyone's been up to. Me? Well I haven't been up to very much at all...just normal boring things. My breakfast (in bed this morning!) is a little different, as there's an egg and tea (no sugar) and my whizzy fruit drink is made up of  a red orange, an apple, raspsberries, blueberries and two kiwi's....that's the fruit of course, and not the Australian army recruits who had 'kiwied up' with their highly polished boots in 1917! (got that bit from wikipedia!)

The car on the night

I recieved my car insurance over the weekend and spent most of Saturday and yesterday on the phone as it's over doubled! It seems the accident I had Christmas day evening, ten months ago, which I thought was all done and dusted (where a young person on a small motor bike suddenly decided to swerve across the road in front of me, (before even getting to the traffice lights) colliding with the passenger side of my car,  wrecking her bike and putting the car in the garage for months, has come up with a counter claim, even though the police at the time told me they would not press charges against me as they could clearly see it wasn't my fault. So? We wait for the insurance people lawyers to decide... and because the 'case' is still open, 10 month on, I have to pay full wack on my insurance. I've still got my alarm, which I was given to me after they threathen to 'come round my house'  Hmmm....enough said.

Snooze time on Mr Jinx's bed

One sad thing this week is, the little hissy, scratchy pusscat who  adopted me, has passed away. She wasn't herself for most of last week and had decided for some reason to move out from under the spare bed, and the shower and my wardrobe, to go live in the green garden bag under the car port. I put a blanket in there and still made sure she had food and water. I did manage to brush her and cut off some of her mangled fur too, but I knew she wasn't right so, out came the big cat/small dog carrier,  I wrapped her in a towel and in she went. Hardly any fuss at all. I took her round to her owners, explaining she really ought to see a vet.

A few days later her owner brought back my carrier and gave me this lovely Cyclamen plant as a thank you for looking after her and told me that Tabs had passed away. So I expect her and Mr Jinx are now chasing moths in cat heaven. I have been doing a few crafty things, but more on them, tomorrow. Happy T stands for Tuesday! Thank you for stopping by!

WHAT'S ON YOUR WORKTOP WEDNESDAY!? #748-Still in The Kitchen.Plus Video

Morning peoples! (((wave))) Hope you're having a good day. I've started early with my WOYWW post today, but have a feeling, it'll still be late as I have sooo much to do  I get sidetracked very easily! This is my worktop this morning in the kitchen. A couple of you said something about using file folders for journals...so I thought, what better way to explain than to make a video! So I did... Not sure how to add it...let's try... this!

Ohooo it worked! (I'm doing a little jig now!) Fabulous! So I'm making more Journals whatevers, in the kitchen. Last week I linked Ceri The Crafter ...go see him for all the right instuctions! Try here. So that's what's going on in the Kitchen worktop...
This is what's going on in the living room on the ironing board worktop...Cast your mind back to an ATC swap on WOYWW a couple of years back. I made these covers to fit the ATC's in... then last week I watched CameliaCraftDesign with Julie and she was using old book papers- anything to get my mojo working! I made loads! I added washi tape to the spine, as where the pages were sewn in  was a bit weak.
This is one of my originals (without its belly band) from a waaaay back WOYWW swap, just the two pockets, where the ones above have four smaller pockets and a back pocket.

I Added a backing to this one.

As you can see I made quiet a few...then thought I'd line the inside with another page to make it stronger. I used an old book on 'Trees', Julia had a much nicer one on 'flowers' so I'm now hunting out old flower books in the charity shops.

And...not quite finished yet...here's my worktop in the hall....The table I keep my printer on, sometimes comes in handy... The only problem is, if the door bell rings, I have to crawl under it to answer the door! (and once I get down, it's really hard to get up again!)I was going to make a birthday card using that cake stamp... not going to happen now though- thought of something else. I told you, I get side tracked!  Hope you're having a great week. Thanks it from me! Happy Crafting. Don't forget to pop over to Stamping Ground and join in! Thank you for stopping by!

It's Time for T on Tuesday!

I feel a bit of a fraud this T for Tuesday morning as I can't even show you a picture of my boring breakfast today because I've eaten it...it's all gone! And yes, it's on the ironing board, where I've been crafting.  (I really do need a table)

I do have a table but it's very heavy, and needs two people to move it. (from Ikea... the table that is, not the people to help move it) but it's in the hall with my printer on it. When it's opened out, if the front door bell goes, I can't get down the hall, unless I crawl under it!  (Not a pretty sight!)😳

It's green bag Tuesday today...nothing to do with green Tea...just garden rubbish. Really pleased that I managed to fill both the bags before the bin men arrived.

The little lodger cat has be sleeping in one of the greenbags all week... acting really oddly... actually let me brush her and cut some of that matting off. Anyway, I didn't think she was well at all, so, I quickly picked her up (not too much screeching and scratching) and put her in one of my big cat/dog carriers and took her round to her owners. Not heard anything back yet. Hope she's ok. So...while we're in the garden...

These roses have been here for decades (replanted when we first moved in) and still going strong) They're a bit tall so I need a ladder and the long-armed pruner to cut them down. (I don't like ladders!)and me and the long armed-pruner quite often have arguments!

Here's my 'bargain of the week', bought for £10 at the local charity warehouse, as I said last week, always worth a look. (Still no sign of the charity craft shop coming back though) I have been crafting...made two cards, more on them later in the week. Also made these little pocket booklets thingies, using pages from an old 'Tree' book.

I've made these before using normal double-sided crafting paper for one of the What's On Your Worktop ATC's swaps.

Then they only had two pockets for the ATC's but these 'tree' ones have four small corner pockets  or tucks and a larger one at the back...I used washi-tape to strengthen the fold where the book strings were, but then had an idea to stick in another layer of tree pictures, making the whole thing a lot stronger. I think I might make belly bands for these too. Well, that's it I think!

I'll finish off with, some hot chocolate and Bourbon biscuits! Hope you have a great T day...it's actually time for my T now! Where does the Time Go? Thank you for stopping by!
