It's A Girly Quirky-ness! Shaker Card

It's that Quirky time again, or it should be, when the Quirky Craft's Challenge Blog starts off with a new Challenge,. Thank you to every one who entered last time, there were some really lovely Chocolate and Cream projects! We'll soon let you know who the winners are! Now the next fortnightly Challenge is a really nice easy one. We want you to go all....

'Girly Girly!!'

Anything you consider to be really girlie, lots of bling and sparkle, gems, feathers, make-up, dresses, handbags, shoes, or just something very simple, like a lovely photograph and a few swirls, in fact anything, you consider 'Girly' we'd love to see it over on the Quirky Craft's Challenge...

I'm not really girlie but I decided it was about time I did another Shaker card (That's my motto, if in doubt, do a shaker card!) and added a few flowers, tear drop gems, a gem butterfly, a dotty bow, a sparkly flip flop and a paper frill, oh and loads of sticklers Glitter too!
The lovely papers are 'My Minds Eye' (Pretty Please Spring Papers) and were a freebie with Cardmaking and PaperCraft Magazine a few months ago. Tilda was coloured with Promakers, of course. I haven't put a sentiment on, but it will be a birthday card. I have a few June birthdays coming up! Well ,there you have it! Come and join in!! Thanks for stopping by!

What's On Your ...Dining Table? Wednesday.

Bit of a cheat, because I'm not here, and for those of you who have already spotted the Bailey's, these pictures were taken last night, as I'm not here, I'm working. (working...(?) oh, ok...I'm playing ball with some lovely dogs) My craft room is just too messy, so messy in fact that I've been in the living room all week, hubby's been in the kitchen, finding out all about Digi's for me on his computer, because I'm rubbish at understanding all the gobbledygook, (he's actually making me a spiderweb watermark, how cool is that!!) And me? I've been diddling and doodling.
Last week it was the garden shed and this week, I wanted to draw a tree, because there's a tree challenge somewhere, and now I've forgotten where!! (If you know, please tell me!)
My idea is...I've drawn this quite big as you can see in the picture, and then reduced it, so little people like 'Tilda' can come and visit! (well I thought it was a good idea! What do you think?) I'm going to make a bench or a swing or something for the 'sitting Tilda next..
So, if you want to join in What's On Your WorkDesk Wednesday, pop over to Julia's blog and find out what every one's has been up to, take a pic of your 'stuff,' your desk, your shed, your floor, the cupboard under the stairs, your bed, the top of your washing machine or wherever you do your crafting and come and join in!!

A big ((WAVE)) and Hi to four new followers!! Hi to Debs H, sorry no link , but will find one! And Emu up a Gum Tree!! and Kirsti from One Mad Moo...who I found while joining in with the biggest blog hop ever... if you want to know more scroll down to last post and join in!!
Hi and a BIG (((wave))) to New Follower Summer who I also found on the BIGGEST blog hop ever. Summer has some lovely scrap book pages and other makes, so 'hop' over and see!
Scroll down too for the latest Quirky Craft's Challenge and the One Stitch At A Time's latest challenge! and come and join in!!
That's it from me, and as I'm not here, Mr Blogger will do the honours on the timer....I hope.... if he gets up in time! So, back later to correct all the spelling mistakes and come and visit!! Have a Good Day!! phew...I could do will a cuppa...or another Bailey's!

ATC's Easter/Spring/Animal

Friday Freebies from Bugaboo Stamps, don't you just love them! AND!!! The rabbit with the Chicken on his head is from Bee Crafty. A bit late for Easter I know, but that was the swap over on Cardmaking Downloads for April and I know you've seen some of these already, which I think I sent off to Quirky Craft's forum as they too were doing a spring/Easter/animal swap, but I did a few more because you can't have too much of a cute thing! I did the backgrounds again and of course used my Promaker pens, love them sooo much!!
I'm running an April swap as well, over on Cardmaking and Papercraft, which is 'Anything Goes', so a couple of these might be saved for that swap. So far I've received some lovely ATC's for the swap from forum buddies. The idea is, they send them to me, I'll shuffle them all up and send them each back a different ATC. I'll post pictures of all the swaps here at the end of the month, just before the new May swap starts. Anyone who wants to join in can do so!
A big (((wave) and HI!!! to two new followers, I've dragged in off of WOYWW! (Only kidding)
Julia, from Stamp Ground who is WOYWW so if you want to join in every Wednesday, you'll know where to go! And Mummylade, who has a very tidy crafty space, quite unlike mine! Pop over and say hi!
Catch you all tomorrow with sneaky peaks of my DT cards for this weekends new Challenges. Thanks for stopping by!

A Jammy Birthday Tilda

This card should be winging it's way to a blog buddy, who's just had a birthday but knowing me it's probably not, cos I'm all behind as usual!! This is Magnolia Jam Tilda and it's the first time I've used her since I won her on a challenge that Simon Says Stamp was sponsoring. I think she's sooo cute, so I'm gonna have to bore you with at least ten trillion more this week!! (or maybe three) I've used Pink Petticoat Papers, in lavender, which looks like lilac, depending on where I took the photo. I also Decoupaged Tilda, added Stickles and Micro fine glitter and used my ProMakers and Copic pens to colour her in.
Another first was, I used chalk to smudge the background behind Tilda. I'm hoping to add this card to a few challenges...Simon Says Challenge 'Punch' (I've used Woodware, Martha Stewart and Nestabilies) and also Creative Card Crew who also have 'Punch it'. Passion for Promakers, Any Colour and 'girls girls girls..'

I'm having trouble with 'Spam' ever since I took the word thingi-me-jig off... I really would like to know what YOU think...on, off, or wait for approval (which confuses me when I leave comments because I never remember if I've already left one or not!) Let me know!! I'll leave it off when I do Challenges but it might go back on if I get any more 'Spam' (I can almost feel a Spam song coming on!!)
Back later...off now to find some more challenges!!

Scaredy Cat!

I just had to pop this little spooky card in quick, as I noticed Penny has a Halloween Challenge, over on Penny's Challenge Blog. I thought I would put in something I'd already done, I have an old Halloween favourite one of the first cards I ever made using backing papers, which I think I've put in most forums galleries but never in a blog challenge, but I'm glad I decided to make a new one! This was soooo much fun to do.
Thank you Angela (she of multi challenges!!) for letting me know about Kaboodles Spooky Challenge I'll pop Scaredy Cat in there too! Hope I'm not too late! Also, in Passion For ProMarkers Challenge this week, you can use any colour, which is great as I don't have many! And they also want to see and animal! So I'm going to pop Scaredy Cat over there as well!
I've just popped over to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge and guess what!!! It's Halloween!! And, after a blog hop I found Polka Doodles who also have a Halloween Challenge! Haha!!! I've found another one!! Over on Cats Corner Challenge 12 is a Halloween card, with a cat!! (I think!) Crumbs I've never done so many Challenges in one go..!(Watch This space! I might add a few more!)
Is my mojo coming back?? I think so! It was the Fox's Chunkie Extremely Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Cookies that tempted it back... (My favourite Bisqwit!!!) I told it, "Mojo, make a card and then you can have a chocolate cookie..." I know it's a little bit the same as the last two cards I've done in design, but if I don't mention it," sez me whispering. "I don't think anyone will notice!
Black card, PinkPetticoat papers inside and out. (I've even papered the back)Penny Black Image from a swap, only he wasn't very 'inky' so I've gone round him with my Letraset pen and coloured him with ProMarker Pens and 3D-ed the pumpkin balloon. The ghost's and the Pussy Cat's words I did myself and the 'Too Cute to Spook' sign is from Summer Driggs 'Fangs For The Memories' freebie download Scrap papers and elements. Lovely site for freebies, if you haven't already found it on my side bar pop over and have a look, don't forget to leave a lovely comment!
The inside 'Happy Haunting' is a freebie Font called Halloween and can be downloaded here
Hopefully, seeing there's still a few Chocolate cookies left, I'll be back very soon!!
