A Jammy Birthday Tilda

This card should be winging it's way to a blog buddy, who's just had a birthday but knowing me it's probably not, cos I'm all behind as usual!! This is Magnolia Jam Tilda and it's the first time I've used her since I won her on a challenge that Simon Says Stamp was sponsoring. I think she's sooo cute, so I'm gonna have to bore you with at least ten trillion more this week!! (or maybe three) I've used Pink Petticoat Papers, in lavender, which looks like lilac, depending on where I took the photo. I also Decoupaged Tilda, added Stickles and Micro fine glitter and used my ProMakers and Copic pens to colour her in.
Another first was, I used chalk to smudge the background behind Tilda. I'm hoping to add this card to a few challenges...Simon Says Challenge 'Punch' (I've used Woodware, Martha Stewart and Nestabilies) and also Creative Card Crew who also have 'Punch it'. Passion for Promakers, Any Colour and 'girls girls girls..'

I'm having trouble with 'Spam' ever since I took the word thingi-me-jig off... I really would like to know what YOU think...on, off, or wait for approval (which confuses me when I leave comments because I never remember if I've already left one or not!) Let me know!! I'll leave it off when I do Challenges but it might go back on if I get any more 'Spam' (I can almost feel a Spam song coming on!!)
Back later...off now to find some more challenges!!

  2. Hi Lyn - stunning card - love the lilac shades and the beautiful layout.
Re. the Spam thingy (I loved Monty Python too)- I removed my comments word verification several months ago and it's been OK. If the unwanted messages are coming from another blogger couldn't you "Block" them?? (Mind you - I'm no expert on these things).
    Love and hugs, Sylvia xxxxx

  6. I prefer work validation off, and moderation on Lyn.

I put a note saying that comments might take a while to appear as I moderate them all, and I do get the odd double comment, and a few spam that I don't publish. One spammer had the cheek to ask later why I hadn't published their comments last time, I said I think you are spammers and not crafters, but if you want to prove otherwise I will gladly post your comments - didn't hear from them again!

I find with word verification on some blogs it doesn't show up immediately and I go to leave the site and spot it and then have lost my comment, don't usually redo the comment.

  9. Hi Lyn
Gorgeous card, she's a pretty little thing is Tilda:)
I leave the word verification off. I hate it with a passion lol. It's a right nuisance when your doing a blog hop of challenge cards and one after the other they all have it. What should be an enjoyable task for me then becomes a chore:( and if it doesn't work first time then there's no comment from me!!

  11. Lyn, Beautiful card, love the layers and colors.
As for word verifcation I hate it.
I just use the comment approval thingy. If I think they are bonkers I reject it. Haven't had much though.
    Hugs, Chris

  19. Hi Lyn

So sorry I am late commentine on this. I would just like to say that this card is 100 times more beautiful in real life. It is such a shame that photos cannot do them justice. It is simply stunning and I was overjoyed to receive it.

    Thank you again.
