This challenge has kindly been sponsored by Debbie, owner and designer of
Debbie has very generously offered one of her Digi down load images called "Roshell with Brolley" for the DT to work with and has donated two stamps as a prize for the winner of this fortnights Quirky Forum's Challenge!!
And here he I mean...she is!! "Roshell with Brolley" She is cute, isn't she! But very finicky, but worth the wait!!! (Roshell is available as a digi download and a stamp!)
Well, if you've read the post below, you'll know I'd forgotten all about adding Roshell and her brolly to my yellow card. Ann (Chocolate Fudge Cake) set the Challenge and everyone but me got all their lovely yellow crafty things made in time. Meanwhile I was once again hunting out yellow backing paper as my Printer, closed down and wouldn't print, scan, copy or make me tea!
Luckily I found some more yellow paper (freebies from a crafting Magazine) and some yellow card as well! Then I had another problem....how to print out Roshell! At last, after threatening the printer with a trip to the dump it suddenly sprang to life!! Yippee!! I printed Roshell out a few times and once on some of the yellow backing paper I'd found, so I could paper piece her umbrella, then coloured her with Promakers, cut her out using my Nestabilities scalloped circles and edged everything in red...which smudged! Oh No! No more yellow paper!! So, don't tell anyone, but that's why I've added the flowers!! I cut the red off the Nestie scalloped circle and made it an ordinary circle and added the little heart peel-offs just to hide any rough edges. The sentiment was done on the computer. The font is one I've mentioned before and is available as a free down load. and is called Cooldots.
Now, you don't have to use Roshell, you can make ANYTHING as long as there's yellow and won't scare anyone too much. A scrap book page , ATC, fat page, Inchies, a knitted scarf!! The last challenge was won by a lovely candle and the one before that a Scrapbook page, so, any thing goes!!
