It's Another Tea Day Tuesday!

 

It's a another T day Tuesday and to quote the white rabbit...'I'm late! I'm late!!'  Hosted by the Altered Book lover. Pop over and say 'Hi!' My tea, is turmeric and ginger...My other drink is...Strawberry, Guarana, Carrot, Dragon Fruit, Raspberry, Cherry, plus vitamins B12 and C, plus some hot Nutty Almond milk to go over my fruit and nutty breakfast. Last week was disastrous! I linked in somewhere but couldn't remember where! And didn't find where you all were. Never mind-I'll try harder this week! 

The lilly is doing very well this year...it's a good six foot tall if not more! And smells amazing!

 The Bell flower, is a lot smaller at about 6 inches but the flowers get bigger  every year. It self seeded from somewhere, and has popped up there for the last 3 or 4 years. 

 I did have a few more drinks...but could only find this one... really nice on a hot day!(which is what I'm drinking now!) Happy T Day everyone!  I'm not sure why there's big gaps between all my sentances...I must've pressed a wrong button! Thank you for stopping by! 

It's Tuesday!T ime for Tea, but no more Cocoa!

  And that means it's time for T for Tuesday...or T stands for Tuesday! In any case, pop over to AlteredBooklover and join in! I've pushed back some crafting things to make room for the same ol' same again, but there's now a Beetroot drink...and it's quite nice. It's supposed to be good for you....I'm not sure in what way! The Mockingbird Juice is still half price-ish, so I'm keeping up with that....this first picture, was last weeks I think and I forgot to post it! 

This is todays...I had some hot milk left over from the cereal, so I made a cup of coffee. The other drinks are Beetroot Juice and, a new Kombucha to me, Fix8 (with green tea, Ginger and Turmeric) and that's nice too! Now it's moan-time!!

It was also time to get my winter mugs out too and make some....Hot Chocolate, but!! I've been out of Cadburys Drinking Chocolate for some time now, no one's got any. So last week I decided to go on line and buy two x1kg tins. Brilliant! They came the next day! But today, my phone pops up with news that everybodys favourite drinking chocolate after decades and decades is being withdrawn. No more Cadburys Hot Chocolate. WHY?

A Very Quick T stands for Tuesday!

 

 It's still Tuesday...so Happy T stands for Tuesday! Once more I have two four legged friends staying, having great fun (not me!) in all this rain! And Thursday, I'm off house/dog sitting but not for long....So, here's what I can add to T stands for Tuesday...my 'boring breakfast', as always...and now that I've found out that Aldi no longer sell my favourite Cold Press drink, I think I'll go back to making my own. Just have to use up what I've already bought from Tesco's...something simular, while it's half price, once it goes back to its real price, that'll be it!

What they did have in Aldi was a Milk Frother. Over the years I've had a few of them, they don't last long, so if I see one that's a bit cheaper than it normally is... it jumps into my basket! Yes, I know it looks like whipped cream, but it's milk (Hot Chocolate) ...lovely and frothy! I haven't any other drinks to show this week, so will wish you a very Happy T day!! What's On YourWork Top This week?? #796-And a bit of T for Tuesday too!

 It's Wednesday, And WOYWW strikes again! I think...not sure. And also the week of the second anniversary of John passing on and not ever coming back. I tell myself that every day but still find it very hard to believe. Because I'm away I haven't done anything worth showing really but I will otherwise my poor Blog will think I've abandoned  it, again! A different kitchen table this week. but the same things. I have managed to add two more completed gentlemen cats with acetate windows and cut out some freebies too. 

 And, so I can add T stands for Tuesday too, I've added my boring ol' breakfast, also on a different kitchen top...and with different plates and cups... but the same drinks. Also I was VERY naughty and bought some Nuttella....so my little warmed bun ozzes hot choclate! The lidded Tubberware orange/yellow mug, I use to mircowave my eggs! That's over 45 years old that mug! Honest! Off out now to visit the dogs 'dad' who's in a Care home, they really love visiting him! There's a dog party happening later in the week. They'll love that too! Thank you for stopping by!

It's Tuesday....Time For tea...

We had a bank holiday Monday yesterday, so I lost a whole day thinking yesterday was Sunday and today was Monday....oops! Luckily I realised in time, as tomorrow...being Wednesday, I'm off House sitting! So I'm packing up stuff I'll need, and of course some crafty goodies to play with while I'm there.  Anyway! It's never too late for T on Tuesday, hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard. Above is my 'Boring Breakfast' The supermarket was sold out of my latest fruit and veg drink, (ColdPress) for three whole days, so I thought I'd try 'Super Smoothie, Innocent'. (Kiwi,Cucumber, Apple, Mathcha (tea powder) and flax seeds, with vitamins. I Googled that, and Google suggested that we eat our fruit and not drink it because of the sugar content in it. But, they gave my other tea fruit drink (with Elderberry and lemon and other flavours, seen in the picture) a thumbs up, so I think I'll just stick to Kombucha (sugar free) from now on....So! Not much is happening here. My crafty mojo has gone walk about... hopefully I'll find it soon... Have a Happy Tuesday!  Thank you for stopping by!

It's Tea Time Any time will do!!

 

 I'm late for tea (again) T stands for Tuesday over at Elizabeth and Bleubeard's and I'm also 'Terible Time Keeper!' No, well, yes, I am, as I'm up to my eyeballs in non crafty stuff and just couldn't find any time to get to my laptop/computer... As you can see in the picture...Trimmers, Tablets for Tuesday, Torch, Tape, and red Toy box. At my feet at this moment I have Loki, a Pom-ski, and barking at birds in the sitting room...is Lola...(the birds are on the bird table in the garden... and not the sitting room...just thought I'd make that clear!) The supermarket had done left, of that lovely fruit/veg mix I showed you before, so I've gone back to mixing up a load of fruit and veg in my mixer again... Quite yummy! I had my blood test results yesterday and the doc was very pleased that I was a '90' and now I'm a '59'...whatever those magical numbers mean, it's all good! That will have to be it for now!! Time to have Tea On Tuesday!

  

Morning! It's Time for  Tea Stands for Tuesday!  Pop over to AlteredBooklover and see what's going on! This is last night's Hot Chocolate, sprinkled with some Cadbury Flake. As you can see, morning or night, I just have to push back my crafty stuff, and carry on! I'm still doing CeriTheCrafters July Challenge, #gelypostcardplay, last card tomorrow... today's card coming up next! 

I'd already eaten my mixed cereal and wanted to finished off the watermelon AND show off my latest new drink. I've been told to eat MORE green vegtables. If I eat any more I'm sure I'll turn green! The drink is called 'Cold Press and is made up of...Kiwi, apple, cucumber, spinach, lemon. ginger, banana and vitamins B C D and E. The first slip is sweet-ish then it's sort of greenish veg! But, it IS nice and I will buy more. (Actually, its very simular to what I have mixed up myself) There's different flavours.

Just had elevenies, pot of tea and some plain chocolate HobNobs and Bourbon. In between breakfast and now, I finished todays Post Card...so there's that mess pushed back behind...Butterflies?? yes, I'd say there's is a few! That's it from me! Happy Tea Day Tuesday! Thank you for stopping by!

Time For T on Tuesday. My Whizzer's Broken

 It's Tuesday, so I'm popping over to join in with Altered Book's T is for Tuesday. Above is Lola. She's staying with me at the moment and is stopping me doing any crafting! Above she's sitting on the Proffessor's lap as I spent the morning keeping him and his two dogs company while Mrs Proff was out.  I made us coffee and toasted two hot cross buns for our elevenies. As you can see  all Lola wants is Cuddles and to chase any cats that come into the  garden, or go for short walks or shopping in the doggy pram or visiting anyone. It's about all I can do! No Crafting allowed!

Oh yes...and filling her bowl with chicken, she loves chicken. My breakfast was a disaster this week, as the engine part of my fruit whizzer just sopped. It hums but longer whizzies!

Here it is...broken. Now in the other cupboard hidden in the darkest corner is a monster of a machine that John used a lot.. and it has an attachment jug.

Even that jug weighs a ton. I put the fruit in...with a bit of water.... and turned it on. It has 10 speeds and a palse...

Here it is, all moooshed up, but not as smooth as the other smaller lighter smoothie jug....(and some of the water leaked out from the bottom!)

So I took the old base into town (Lola came too) and visited all the shops I expected to find something simular... did I heck? No... "Oh, these are not really being made anymore..." or "You could try on line..." There was one, that had the grinder and the jug.... but no smoothy jug.... or a smoothy on its own. Now, if I were John, I'd take it to bits and mend it! So, after all that, Debbie my sil. sent me some online links and I did find some too (lord knows who they are) that had just what I wanted for over £110! (they weren't even half that new!)Then, the next add had the same for £49.... but who are these strange people? I'll try Debs links...later. But first...here's pictures of the Professors dogs.

   They were both resued all the way from somewhere near Greece.

 

  At the end of the day...I was totally wacked out. (Debs said I looked tired, I think she meant, old) So I got out my Harry Potter mug and had some Hot Chocolate!

It's Time For T On Tuesday and other Things.

I made it. It's still Tuesday somewhere!  Joining in with alteredbooklover T on Tuedsay...even tho' Elizabeth's post is on Monday!  That's because she's across the pond and is still getting happy mail from all over the world celabrating T For Tuesday's 10th Anniversary, which was quite a few weeks ago! (Snail Mail can be really slow... 'specially if they get stuck up the spout in your watering can....(We've done that bit Lyn!) Have we? Ohooo! Voiceover man, haven't heard you in years! (Let's get on with it then!)

OK! Food! I'm getting really bored with my breakfast, I did have a bacon cheese and tomato toastie the other morning, but forgot to take a picture-thought it would be a bit mean to just photograph the crumbs, so, instead, I decided to show you my lunch/dinner this week instead!  There it is...up there at the top. Chicken cooked with whatever's in the fridge (Onions, garlic, chillies. peppers, mushrooms and sweetcorn (sometimes) a squirt of tomato puree, all wrapped in mixed lettuce leaves and sourcream and wrapped in a corn and wheat tortillas... two is usually enough, followed by a fruity yogurt corner (don't tell the diabetic nurse)  Don't worry, I'll take the cocktail sticks out before I eat it!

I've also been saving seeds... Not sure how long it'll take them to grow as big as their mum... but they will look lovely when they do...and...

I scanned and then printed the mixed-inky thing I did last week...Colours are soooo different because my printer's still...very sick...Then, I actually got my gell plates out and crafted along with Ceri The Crafter. Who was using his lovely piece of art work to make a journal cover...

As you can see... (if you watch Ceri's YouTube vid) I roughy used the same colours...(the papers in the background, gold, yellow, metallic, cream) but of course, I only have  a few stencils, which came 'free' with magazines. Must get me some more! It was fun...I had paint everywhere!  But not as bad as when I got the pressure hose out and washed the drive....I was covered.. the walls were covered...the windows were covered...(even the bathroom mirror!?!) the fence was covered in dirty muddy stuff.   Then I decided to climb up a ladder to squirt the van's roof with the  pressure hose as it's covered in little dirty grey 'dots' (John always did the roof as I couldn't reach...then I'd do the rest, haha sometimes.) It looked like it was working and the little dark dots slowly came off...and then... so did the paint! The size of an old penny! I ended patching it up by painting over it with white hammerite.

 One last picture...The little cat that's 'moved' in, isn't allowed anywhere other than the kitchen...(Not sure she's house trained)That does sound mean, but  this is what she's done I'm sure, even when Jinx was around...she'd sleep on the kitchen doormat...then charge off out through the cat flap hissing and spitting as soon as she heard anyone. These days she sneaks off and hides!  I found her this morning, under the bed in the spare room.

I've told you she was messy! Is she trying to make a 'nest' with those bits of paper she's ripped up?! That's it! Happy T Day! Thank you for stopping by!

PS I have a question! In one of the pictures above I'm preparing to make a Zine... watched two different videos...one lady glued the pages and made pockets, the other, didn't. Once cut and foldeded she opened it up and numbered the pages...(This of course I got wrong, all my numbers were in the wrong squares!) then she added pictures  etc to each square and folded it back up in to a booklet.. no pockets, no glued pages. So what is the right way!?

It's Time for A Bit of Tibetan T For Tuesday,

 And as always I'm late...I'm sure I typed this post and set it to go out first thing this morning...but no..it's not here, even the pictures I took on my phone have disappeared...weird. Well never mind, it's here now, as I've just retyped it-but where did it go? Maybe I dreamt typing it..and taking the pictures- that is possible, seeing how dumbdumb-sluggish my brain (sometimes called Brian) is at the moment. (It is Tuesday, isn't it?) So, I'll start again! I'll start with the boring bit...breakfasT, although I guess it might not be too boring compared to watching a snail...did you know they can't go backwards? That's why they get stuck up the spout of your watering can!  

I had a dog, stay over the weekend. Flowers were brought too. So me and Stanley (the dog) set off for a nice long walk... first out in the fields. He loves to play ball

and then later we walked through the woods, along the river bank. Thought he might like a paddle...

 

He's a Tibetan, althought, someone thought he was a 'miniture' Old English sheep dog (Not that there is such a thing!)

I have been crafting...the ironing board came out again... and I didn't want to iron, so I got my paints out instead. Now, Ceri The Crafter often paints over 12x12 he's not going to use to make ATC's, Pockets, Journal covers, tags, tucks, etc etc. So I thought, yes! That sounds like fun. So this flowery 12x12...

Ceri has stencils, he even designs his own. I used a crunched up plastic bag, an old credit card and an empty pill thingy. It isn't finish yet. It looks like you're up in the sky looking down through the clouds. That brown bit in the middle is metallic gold acrylic. It shines. Ceri also glues other ripped up bits of paper (including coffee and tea stained book pages) to his 12x12's. I'll show you mine tomorrow!
