This Weeks Wednesday Freebie CLOSED

 Closed

First Thank you to Ike for  featuring my digis this week! Please pop over to her blog and join in with the challenge! There's lots going on over there! I must make time to draw more digi's and add them to the store! I'm sooo lazy... or just worn out! And! Hello to new FOLLOWERS! When I first returned to blogland after being away for so long a lot of my followers had also given up, so some of the faces disappeared. Now, if I click on them it doesn't lead to the blog as they used to, so it makes it harder to come and say 'Hi!' but I will try. Right... This weeks freebie, two Happy Snowpeople with their friendly cat...  I haven't thought of a proper name for them yet.  A Comment would be lovely! Thank you for stopping by!

PS> Enter This digi  (or any of my cat digi's) into Ike's Challenge and I'll send you any digi you like from my store just for entering!

Here's a lovely card by Suzanne using this weeks freebie! Suzanne, you've won any didi from the store as a thank you!

Because I've been away from Blogland for quite  while there hasn't been any 'new' digis added, but hopefully, there should be quite a few loaded up in the next week!

And What's on YOUR Worktop This Wednesday!? #631

It's Wednesday so nip over on Julia's Stamping Ground! And show us your crafty spaces! Here's mine. Forefront (if that's a real word) is cat food boxes cut up and inked and die cut into shapes for little roofs. Then I suddenly found myself in a crafty charity shop and buying some crafty goodies, which I never knew I really needed! Purple embossing Power, not opened so should be ok and some 'shimmering silver stencil paint' (dry brush formula) Don't ask me, I haven't a clue but I'll have fun finding out! (both 50p)

Then there's stamps and lettering and stickers and  metal charms and 18 Dovecraft 'designer Die cuts' that looked useful

Next is a pile of stamps from my stash, mostly freebies from magazines all about Time for Tea, as I'm making some ATC's for bleubeard and Elizabeth's ATC swap coming up. I have some ribbons and some papers to match as well.  The gnome card keeps trying to get into the picture. It was a  practice card, when I was trying to work out how to get the gnomes to move using magnets. I'll tell you all about that...sometime soon!  Sorry about the pictures, my poor camera's very old!

Thank you to  my new followers for following, sorry not to mention before. There always used to be an easy link back so I could link you here but that doesn't seem to be available anymore but I will link you when I find you! (meany Blogger) That's it from me! Happy Crafting! Bye for now!

It's A Quirky Small World!

It's that Quirky Time again and a new challenge has started over on the challenge blog. Pop over and see what we've all been up to!!
It's Monica's turn to set the theme this fortnight and she has chosen...

 "It's a Small Quirky World"
Monica would like to see different places of The World represented in your projects! Perhaps somewhere where you'd like to go, or where you've been!
This time we are sponsored by Paper Pretties and Samiflora ( facebook link)
I've done something different (for me) I've made a digital scrapbook page using  my own pictures from a weekend away in Paris, to see the Monet Gardens and of course the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France with hubby and my mum and dad. It turned out to be our very last trip away together. It's probably my third try at doing a digital scrap page... not too bad I think, and it saves ink and paper!!
First I hunted out the papers. I knew I had them saved somewhere on my computer, but, sieve head me, couldn't find them. Luckily I'd printed them out years ago!  I think they were freebies  from 2 peas  with the 2006 new letter! Anyway,I re-scanned them in so I could make them PNG  and then sorted out some photos; a river trip, views of Paris, The Monet gardens and  Me, Mum and dad with the Tower in the back ground. (John took the picture) The tag and the stitched Eiffel Tower are part of the same set.

I printed and coloured the little  Merci Beaucoup French Poodle from our sponsors, Paper Pretties. It was a last minute decision to go with Mum and dad,  (Coach trip through the Channel Tunnel) I'll always be thankful we did! This little Thank You poodle fitted in very well!
Right....any Trekker geeks out there who can spot the Star Trek link??? No? It's the sentiment...'We'll Always Have Paris' it's the name of episode 23 in season 1. (It's about time travel so it's always stuck in my mind!)
The Font I've used there is a freebie, it's called Fontdiner dotcomluvable download HERE
I'm not here at the moment but later  hope to add this  scrap page to some...

Happy WOYWWednesday!!

Morning Woywwers! It's Wednesday, wake up! It's just gone midnight! Here's what's on my desk at the moment, by the time I've finished this post, the card should be finished! Hubby's birthday card, Happy Birthday John! And all the mess I used making the card. (My cogs wouldn't cut, so there's a lot of 'not cut all the way through' bits of card just out of sight. My 'Bisto' drums still haven't been painted or altered. I have some ribbons on some of that Xyron sticky stuff. I've had two more ATC's arrive (most of mine are coming from other countries) Thank you to....
Roudi all the way from Egypt! and the purdy card and cat ATC (one of my digi's!) came from  Crafting Vicky!! Fabulous!! (will add links)
Here's an ATC that I made (Eye Heart WOYWW 4). I added a bit of magnet so it sticks to my fridge... that's gone off to some one, they should have it my now (you can see my Snoqualmie Falls magnet from USA) One more picture; just finished hubby's card, it took me hours!! All it needs now is a sentiment.
I'll add it to another post later today... That's it.... I think there was another atc that arrived yesterday, so I'll add that later... must go to bed now, very tired!! (Gone One in the morning!) Come and join in, nip over to Julia's fabulous linky up blog Stamping Ground and come and snoop too!! New Followers! Hi and a (((wave))) to  Lucy, Lizette saaiman  from idubeartsandcrafts  I've got one of those little hedgehog pottery thingies, (Painted) and DL.Art!! Thank you for stopping by!

A Quirky Dark Kitty!

Here's my second Quirky Crafts DT card. The challenge this time is set by Cazzy and she wanted to see 'No cute digi's, or even no digis at all and to use dark colours or dark themes
Bit of a quickie as I'm not home in my craft room, still sitting on dogs!  I've used Dovecraft papers and a Dustin Pike Kitty, who is one of our sponsors this challenge. (That's Dustin, not the kitty) This one was already coloured but they come 'naked' as well.
I dedicate this card to our lodger cat Jinxie.(real name Bruno) who is at home on his own (aw!) Don't worry, he has Iams and Felix fish in Jelly and we call in to see him, but he's not our cat and he can go home, it's just in the next road!! Oh must tell you...so funny...first thing, popped home to finished my Quirky DT cards and feed Jinxie. He always comes out to say hello or good bye...Get in my car to drive back here to the dogs...got half way here when I heard a loud Mmmeow!!  Looked in the rear view mirror and he suddenly jumped up on the parcel shelf, and was sitting there staring at me! So, I had to bring him back...I think he wanted to come and stay!
Didn't have the computer with me (at home) so had to hand write the sentiment...might change that later. Love those Dovecraft papers, I won them, ages ago...

Tom's Card!

Here's a sneak peek of the Christmas card design, Tom, my son-in-law will be sending out to family and friends this year! I cleared a space on my messy craft room worktop big enough for Tom to have a play with some of the new crafty stuff he'd bought from a craft store on the way down to spend Sunday Afternoon  with us, yesterday. Some Dream Weaver Embossing paste, a Christmas tree stencil, some gold glitter, a packet of cards and two sheets of gold and silver Merry Christmas peel offs. Armed with my craft knife and cake pallet spreader, he  made this  fabulous embossed Christmas tree card! Download the freebie Chocolate box decorative font I used on the picture HERE
Dawn Bibby YouTube Video HERE showing you other ways to use this embossing paste!

Anything But a Quirky Card!!

Hi guys! Hope all are well and fighting fit! And those who aren't please get well soon. It's that Quirky Time again when I wonder if it really is Sunday or am I still dreaming and it's Monday morning and I've forgot to go to work... (I did do that last week!) Anyway!! We have a new challenge starting over on Quirky Crafts challenge blog, sponsored by Robyn's Fetish. Don't forget to read the post! Loads last time didn't and missed adding 'stuff' to their fabulous creations, so couldn't really be counted! This fortnight  it's Caro's turn to set the theme and she has chosen...
A.B.C. which means Anything But a Card using Autumn Colours!!
Here's my make.  I've done a bit of recycling and used a black bag I had some pressies in. Cut it down a bit, and then covered it with some orangey/browny Halloween papers (by Bearly Mine, a mixture of bought as well as freebies, and made a Trick Or Treat Bag. Find them,  HERE and here... here and here (although they may all lead to the same place) On the front of the bag I've added BearlyAPumpkin   by our sponsor, which is  on sale at the moment $2.50 now $1.63 (Not sure what that is in pounds) and some punched out Tags using up some scraps, one of those is a PinkPetticoat  paper and the Boo paper is by....ummmm? Linked it before.....here's a card I made using the Boo papers HERE and the freebie papers can be found HERE That should keep you busy for a little while!
I've added eyelets and eyelash wool to black cord handles and a little silver coloured metel clip to help keep it closed.
The Font is a freebie. It looks like bones and is called HeadHunter download it HERE
Hope my Trick or Treat bag gives you some ideas. For more just pop over to Quirky Crafts to see what the rest of the team has come up with!

A Turkey's not Just For Christmas! (Bugaboo Freebie)

My two month sprint (it did go fast) stint as a Bugaboo Guess Designer ended at the end of September, but I still wanted to make this card using this weeks,  Freebie Friday image for their Anything Goes Challenge! You'll find Turkey Pumpkin over in the  Bugaboo Store! Especially for those of you over the pond, in the USA,  celebrating your Thanks Giving next month, this fabulous Turkey, will be just the job! Us over here in Britain could save him for Christmas, or send him to family living over there for their Thanks Giving, as  we don't do thanks giving here,  I should think finding a card to send would be near-on impossible...(well, there's always MoonPig I suppose!)  You can download him  free all week here. There's more to hunt out in the store
Here's my card.  I've coloured with Promarkers and 3D-ed the pumpkin.
The papers behind the Turkey  are from Crafts-On-The-Net, and are actually Easter papers. It's a Pdf file but I've squished it down very small! You might not find these, but there's loads more!  The main backing papers in and  outside the card are freebies by  Shery k designs
The Ribbon came with a CardMaking and PaperCrafts Magazine some time ago.
I've also added a witch's head at the bottom. Well, there she was, bodiless on my desk, already coloured, left over from a card I made a few weeks ago HERE.  Didn't want to waste her, and it looks as if she's saying the sentiment, which is...Thank Goodness! Turkeys are not just for Christmas...and good to go any time with a nice white wine. Happy Holidays!
The Font I've used is a freebie. It's called Troutkings BTN click to go to the link or Google the name.

I've used my new Nesting Die-cuts by Xcut, which I bought while we were away,  in Trago Mills £3 cheaper than at home. I think that's going to be a very useful shape. Like the fact too, they come with a magnetic storage mat.  I've also added, black Card Candi, a dash of white gel pen and some cutlery brads I'm sure are by Woodware.

Eyes Down! It's Bingo @Bugaboo!

Another Bugaboo Challenge has started over on Catch The Bug! (It's all go over there!) It's nice and easy so everyone must get over there and join in now! It's a...
which means, for those of you who might not know, all you have to do is choose three things in a line to add to your card from the bingo card below! Easy!
In fact sooo easy all I really had to do was to rip a bugaboo image in half... (but who would want to do that!?!) because I chose the line 'Tearing.... A Bugaboo Image.... and a flower!'
My Card: I knew I had a bit if this 'grass and daisy' paper somewhere, (Hobby Craft) hunted it out and it was 'just' big enough after tearing around the edge to cover the card.
Printed out Clyde the Dragon (AKA Clyde - Clyde Friend) a couple of times so I could 3D him, coloured with Promarkers, did a bit of detail with a white gel pen, added a shake of micro glitter to the ladybirds. Added a wooden ladybird which I prised off a tiny peg, then made my own flower by colouring some paper with a red Promamarker and punched out about 9 different sized 'flowers,' scrunched them up and then put them together with a yellow brad, added some leaves (Used Woodware punches) then speckled them all with some red Stickles glitter glue. (some of the micro glitter got on them too!)
Because I had no more 'grass' paper, inside I've used Neighbourwood' 6x6 Designer Pack, half the papers have glitter. My pack has 48 sheets and it was only 2.99. So quite a bargain!
And even better, I remembered I won the whole set of Neighbourwood clear stamps waaaay back in January for having one of my cards in the Trimcraft Newsletter! Must use them!!
I've photographed two insides for this card coz I couldn't make up my mind which one to use. First one is with the sentiment that comes with the digi and the second picture shows the sentiment that hubby chose. I actually liked the dragon, tasty, crunchy and ketchup one I did best, but that probably would go better with a meaner looking dragon, and I didn't take a pic of that one... next time!
The font (In the second pic) is a freebie. It's called Candy Round BTN Download HERE.
Using scraps I've made a pocket on the inside for birthday money or anything else you can fit in there.

It's a Magnam...or two...

Afternoon bloggers! Here's Magnum...isn't he cute? I won him! Yay! And where I won him (Ladybugs) are having a challenge, which I hope I'm not too late for. (No I'm not!)
You might have spotted Magnum and Lilly his mouse friend, half way through being coloured on my WOYWW post yesterday, with odd bits of paper stuck over another sheet of paper.
Here he is finished. I've done a bit of paper piecing where you print or stamp your image over some backing paper and then cut out bits to piece over the image...
There's quite a lot of layers, and some cheats too! The topper has, the red, the first digi, then the added papered chair, then another Promarkered Magnum and then the TV, but the legs of the TV are the legs from the first digi...yes, I'm confused too!
Counting them all there's about nine! but they are all stuck down to look like one image.
I used scraps of paper ... first, print what you want on to plain paper/card and then, stick (I used a smidge of photo glue, coz it peels off easy) some scraps over the image, print it again and those bits of scrap paper will then have the image printed on them too, ready to be cut out.
Here you can see I've paper pieced the arm chair with some small flowery papers by Pink Petticoat and in side, I've paper pieced the cake case.
All the papers are Pink Petticoat...I'm still using up my 'bits' and most of my bits are PP.
The red edging you can see is red Promarker edged around some paper/card but inside it's red pen.
Magnum, Lilly and the TV have been coloured with Promarkers. The Bakers twine was a freebie from PaperCraft Inspiration Magazine this month...
The sentiment was done on the computer. There was a comma after 'take the best chair' but John, (hubby) kept reading it as 'Take the best chain' So I've scribbled over it with a white gel pen...(but have since inked it in with a pen) think he needs new reading glasses! (Click photos to make them bigger)
The Font is a freebie it's called Idolwild download it HERE or just Google the name. New Follower! Hi and a Big wave to Tracy Jensen, who's loves knitting and rabbits I think!! Angora knits
That's it! Tomorrow I'll show you the new Freebie from Bugaboo, hope you've picked up this weeks. Thanks for stopping by! If I'm not too late I'd love to add this to some...

Bug Has a New Bubble!

It's Tuesday, which means, I can change my socks.. nah only kidding, I did that yesterday! It means it's new release day over in the Bugaboo digi Store, and look who came to play in my craft room! Isn't he just too darn cute!?! Wouldn't he make a great birthday or invitation to a party card!?
This is Bubble's Birthday Present all ready for a party! Pop over and see him and some of his friends and some more cards made by the bug team over on Catch the Bug .
My Card: I printed out Bubble a couple of times. Coloured with Promakers. Cut out one image with a scalloped Nestibilitie, cut the other one out, snipping off the bow, the top of the hat and those fiddly bits and stuck it over the top using gel glue.
Then, with the same five colours I used on the digi I striped a piece of A4 heavy paper and used that as backing, inside and out, after I first edged the pearl card with a Turquoise ProMaker.
I've added felt flowers. I fixed the sequins in the centres using gel glue.
There's some some plastic swirly bits that came as part of a party set of backless buttons, tiny green heart gems, fixed on with a quickie glue pen, a ribbon and a lace boarder using a Martha Stewart punch, (inked a little bit) The sentiment was done on the computer. The Font is a freebie its called Ackident download it there or Google the name.

It's Friday!! It's Bugaboo Freebie Day....

It's Friday!! And that means the Friday Freebie over on Bugaboo Digi Stamps will be popping up sometime today (there's a time difference so I might be early!!...ooh, early??? Where's Lyn and what have you done with her?? and (as if by magic) here he is, off to have fun at the fair, scoffing his toffee apple! Haven't have a toffee apple in years! You'll find more of him and his friends HERE and more DT cards HERE
My Card. I printed the little boy out twice so I could 3D him, coloured him with Promarkers. Cut one of him out with a deckled edged Nestie, then chopped off the other ones head, ears, T-shirt, hat peak and legs, then fixed them over the other with silicone glue. I saved the top of the apple to stick inside the card.
Papers. I've used let's Fly Away paper stack by Rachel Harper (freebie a while back from Quick Cards Made Easy magazine) Twine and ribbon also came with a magazine.
Added three eye lets, to add a bit of interest. The little plastic charm came from a store that sells X bankrupt stock and only cost 25p for about ten. I made the sentiment on the computer.
The Fonts, there's more then one, are called Baddog for 'Happy'. Handwriting for 'Yummy' and Janda Quirkygirl for 'Birthday' (Click the links) but because the other one's called 'Handwriting', I can't find this actual font (It has little hearts over the i's) but Dafont have loads of 'hand written' types of fonts Here You might already have them as I've linked them before.
