An Iceland Baby Shaker Card

I haven't made a shaker card for ages so when Tom asked me to make a baby boy card, I thought I'll make a few for him to choose from, but one of them's going to be a shaker! I decided to use my Quirky Craft's sketch for this one (with a square instead of a circle) The new baby boy will be flying back to Iceland very soon! I found some icy blue papers, used white faux stitching, using a white gel pen, added Stickles Icicles glitter, frosty silver and silvery eyelash wool and tiny snowflakes inside the shaker as well as on the corner with the flower. Penny Black image of course, coloured with my ProMarkers. I stamped out the letters using my Quickutz. I've also (although it's hard to see) embossed the rectangle behind the shaker, with hearts. The little stork I'm sure I brought back with me from USA last year. I've also added a bit of silver and white ribbon, which wasn't on my sketch but I thought it looked nice. Hope I'm not too late for some of the challenges I've found. There were some shaker card challenges but I think I've missed those.
New Follower, hi and a big ((wave)) to kobies crafty corner pop over and say hi!

An Excreamly Chocolately Quirkiness

The New Challenge over on the Quirky Craft's Challenge Blog is just about to start!! any minute now... soon, now in fact) It's a fortnightly Challenge, it's a nice and easy one this time. All we want to see is.. and who doesn't!

Chocolate and Cream!!

Yummy!!! Anything you'd like to make, Scrapbook page, card, exploding Box, (ooh there's an idea!) Atc, anything at all that has anything, which as a Chocolate and Cream theme, we'd like to see.
Here's mine. I used Chocolate, Mocha, Cream and vanilla coloured Pink Petticoat Papers and Ice cream Sundae image, used my ProMarkers for the colouring, my Quickutz for the lettering and a few gems and ribbon from stash and some pink and gold peel-offs. Pretty sure they came from Create and Craft or Ideal World when I bought some Fairies from them, millions of years ago.

The brown gingham is a freebie, link on my side bar. (Keep Scrolling down and you'll find it!) The little forks and spoon brads, which also come with tiny weeny knives, are from Woodware. The flower was made by folding a six petal punched out flower in half and joining it to others. Very similar to the video I have on my side bar. (Quick, they change every week!)

I think it's missing something, don't you? A nice chocolate coloured bear nipping out from behind the topper with a spoon in his paw!! (Why didn't I think of that before!?!)
I might have another make in the pipe line... not quite cooked yet, so I'll post it later, just to remind you!!
Pop over to Quirky Craft's Challenge to see the other DT cards and makes, then come and join in! I haven't found any challenges yet, let me know if you find one!!

((Hi))) and hello to new follower Netty who has a fabulous blog with loads of altered art and tags and well, her altered Thimble Thingy is just brilliant!! I'm following Netty now so I can pick up some tips!! Pop over and say hi! That's it for now, thanks for stopping by!
(Ohoo hope there's some chocolate somewhere!)

Mum and Dad's Anniversay Card

It's my Mum and Dad's Anniversary today...they've been married a very long time! I used another Forever friends 3D set. Well, they look so cute, don't they! I made it by printing a Pink Petticoat pattern straight onto the pink pearl card and trimming off the bits that the printer didn't quite reach. I used my Quickutz for the lettering. Can you spot the mistake?? It's the last D...it's upside down...and the U is really an N and I was running out of pink card, I did have, after I played with the letters I'd cut out 'Mum & Pop' but I don't think dad would've liked that! The glittery bits along the bottom was made by a sticky rub-on thingy, which I added glitter to. I made the gold anniversary peel-off silver by colouring over it with a silver pen. Inside there's Knicker-blocker-glories papers. I'm sure mum told me that dad bought her, her very first one, aw...nice! (Or maybe I dreamt it!) I forgot to take a picture, so I'll pop one in later. (And, as if my magic...here it is) Thanks for stopping by!

My Quickutz Arrived

My QuicKutz came today, I only ordered it on Monday. (Yippee!) And it's Pink~ of course, to go with my crop-a-dial. which is also pink. Well, I'm not a dressy-shoey-hand-bagy sort of person- maybe I would be if I had more money! (But then I'd probably spend it all on crafty stuff!) It was a sort of Anniversary pressy. (Big hug to hubby) The letters and numbers that came with it, are a bit on the small side, but I think I can do something with them! It also came with some freebie handmade papers, always useful!
