Little Pink Tilda.

Just a quickie, honest! I found this little Pink Tilda card hiding in a box. I've been tidying my craft room, so of course, it's still in the same mess, if not worse than it was at the beginning of the week.
I can remember I printed both sides of the Pink Petticoat paper for this card so I could fold the corners back but wasn't sure if I'd added enough, 'stuff'. Sometimes less is more...or is that more is less? And the poem inside was a little...ummm, well the wrong one for this card. But I guess I can always change that.
Anyway, as I said this is a quick post...but first... Yippee!! I've won a challenge! Yes! What d'you mean, no one else entered! Cheek!! (I'll pretend I didn't hear that!) So I'm really excited. Which card won? The card I made for Winnie, my mum's friend who reached 100 years old last Monday. This one.....
I nearly didn't enter, so it just goes to show you, everyone should hunt out the challenges, make cards and have a go! Wow, I won! Yippee! And talking about challenges, (Clever link there...) we have some new followers! Well, one picture with two faces. Hi Guys!!!
Fabrizo has a Christmas Card Challenge blog. So you all can start making your Christmas Cards and then pop over and enter them into Fab's Big Christmas Card weekly challenges... That doesn't mean the cards have to be big, any size will be ok! And by the time Christmas comes (I heard it's the 25th of December this year) you'll have all your cards made!! Pop over and see and don't forget to have a look at some of the older posts too, you'll find plenty of inspiration! Aw well, it's nearly midnight...and ....looking at my new widget (I love widgets) there's four people on line. Hello!! Oh...they've gone, bye! Actually I've noticed there's always one person...but I guess that'll be me! Thanks for stopping by...

P.s. Just want to add the new Clipmarks, I've added, with pictures framed in white, are from other blogs. The lovely makes in these pictures are made by the people the clip links to. Click on the link to take you to their blogs to find out more about the clip!

A Pink, Pink Petticoat Tilda

Wednesday already!! Sometimes I think someone somewhere puts the clocks on a couple of hours while we've not looking! I'm 'Spring Cleaning' My blog~but because you read a Blog backwards you won't know that until you scroll down and read what I wrote yesterday and we all know, no body does that! So, where was I? Oh yes, just to recap, I'm moving some of my cards that always stay at the bottom of my blog, to up here, as some lovely people have said they can't comment on them down there, while others have said, why is that game down the bottom, we want it at the top! I'm pretty sure this Tilda hasn't been posted yet...But if she has I'll swap her for another one later!
The small dotted pink paper covering the card was from Anna Lang, (which, if I remember rightly was a freeby download from 'Two Peas In a Bucket' ages ago~probably last year or the year before.) It matched so well with the 'Rose' PinkPetticoat doodles, I just had to put them together! I replaced the cut away card with acetate and added a few silver peel-off dots. The 'Happy Birthday' was a stamped image which I embossed.
Before I nip off to bed, I'd just like to say "Hi!" to a few more followers, first Charlotte has changed her picture, very nice Charlotte! Welcome to Josefa Laura from 'Mi Sello Personal' fantastic stuff going on over there, pop in and see. Michele from 'ExremelyCrafty' has all sorts going on over there! Lovely photographs and how to make your own knickers...ah, that's got you thinking, hasn't it! Maxine, many of you will 'know' from forums and other crafty activities who has a couple of blogs for you all to go and investigate! And lastly, welcome to Pattie from 'Pattie's Art' brilliant stuff going on over there. All well worth a visit! I'm off...
Catch you all later today after my X-ray on my wonky leg...that should be fun!!

Party Tilda Shaker Card

After a few, a couple, maybe one person asked me how I did my shaker cards, I was going to be all clever and do one of those picture tutorials, using this card...I got right to the end, when my camera died a death. Flat Batteries. (Bother... although I didn't actually say, bother.) The photo down there was taken when I was wondering what to put in that blank spot on the left. Some black feathered wool? Another Stickeroo? A big purple glitter flower? After much pondering I decided on the silver and white glitter flower. (Which was recycled from a gift bag I had some yummy non-crafty goodies in for my birthday) The 'Party Time' and the 'Happy Birthday'stamps are from Papermania (Claire Curd's Signature Range) The little hedgehog is a Penny Black Stickeroo. Tilda was coloured in with Aqua Promaker pens and a paint brush.
I will have a go at doing a picture tutorial, but next time I'll make sure my batteries are fully charged! (That's the camera's batteries of course...not mine!)

Blue Bear

Penny Black Blue Bear. Don't you think he's cute! I've called him blue because he looks blue in the photo, but I'm sure he was either lavender or lilac. I used whisper water colour pens and also did a bit of embossing on him too, (the swirly bits were free stamps with a magazine!) which made the paper/card bend a little, but I have a huge English dictionary that comes in very handy for flattening things! I used acetate again, to make the little silver peel off dots appear as if they're 'floating'. I still haven't worked out how to make links so the cards can be seen larger, but I have an idea, and will try later....so if I press the wrong button, and it all disappears again, please cover your ears!! ...the language might be a little....blue!

(You can now click on the pictures to make them a little larger....sometimes I surprise myself!)
