So! It must be WOYWW!? I was up really early this morning and was going to do something very extraordinary, but? Well? I've decided, at long last, to prioritise (That's the first time in my life I've ever used that word!) I did do what I wanted to do, so with every job done, I rewarded myself with a triangle of chocolate from a large bar of Toblerone! Above is my craftroom as it is now. That will take weeks to sort out! But I did find time to cover another box...
I can't tidy the craftroom, it's just too much! I will start fiddling with things I find, and that will be the day gone! So, I did something I could do. I have now cleared the living room, (stuff that hasn't got a home to go to in the new kitchen and has been hanging around for ages, has been moved to the spare bedroom) the carpets are down, AND I've put the curtains back up. They were taken down ages ago and the arm chairs shoved forward so I could paint the wall where the hatch used to be....the men had to come back and redo their 'plastering' as it was totally rubbish! (A mouse on stilts could've done better using a spoon!) The only trouble is...getting up on a step ladder. I can manage two steps, maybe three, but with a paint brush and a roller dish in my hands? Only if I can hold onto something other than the step ladder...(which means of course I needed at least three pairs of hands!) Anyway...I've painted as high as I could, and did some of the coving and the skirting board and then stopped...That's it! It's done! No one will notice! If the workmen can get away with unfinished bits... then so can I! I put the curtains back up, the way I used to do the Christmas Decorations...by putting the dining chairs all the way around the room...so I can walk on them, see? No dining chairs now, so in came four garden chairs. (the only trouble there is, snails and slugs might come in too!) By the time I'd done that, I only had half the Toblerone bar left!
