Just made this little Christmas card, which is going off to some one very small called Mason Rain, using Craft Creations blank card, Scrapbook paper (SR155P Christmas Trees) and the little Decoupage Rocking Horse Mice. Aren't they cute!
Hoping to enter this card into the Craft Creations Challenge. You have to use their 'stuff'. But!! I've missed the Christmas Challenge and the next challenge says, anything but Christmas! (bother)I've had the little Mices for ages
and have been dying to use them. All my cards come from Craft Creations, (left over form the 'wedding' three years ago!!) All I needed was some nice Christmasy paper, which my local, (not very Crafty) shop had!
The decoupage sheet also came from them and was made for a 'longer' card as there's a few bits and pieces I didn't use.
Tip...only use a sharp craft knife to make sure you have nice clean cut for all the little fiddly bits. I was careful to cut them all out, only to forget to cut out the tiny bit by the reins and didn't notice until I had the silicone glue speared on the back! So a bit of cheating, I dabbed that bit of white with a pale yellow ProMarker to match the back ground (bet yer couldn't tell!)
Always worth a trip over to Craft Creations, and subscribe to their newsletter as they do have freebies, and everyone likes freebies!
New blog background was doing silly things ago this morniing, (having just a small box in the centre. I played with the word 'center' in the code (something I'd never try a year ago!) and
it put the pattern back in the right place by repeating the pattern, but was still hard to read the posts, so once again, I've changed it. It's quite hard to find something not too busy with a black background. I think it's time I learn how to do my own! A nice lot of spider webs would be great!
