This Weeks, What's On Your Worktop WEdnesDay #664

I'm late as usual...for WOYWW!? too much to do and not enought time...SO here's my work top, even more trash shoved on the top of last weeks! Nothing done. Arlo the dog came to stay again, Dexter and Duke needed an extra walk...and the two Terrible Airedales, Boudie and Jack needed a baby sitter! I've put my trollydolly thing back in the craft room, as it's really too big to stay in the hall with Arlo playing! So there isn't any crafting!

And then we found this.... I love it. We, at first thought it was a Prayer Book, probably left over from the War, by Pam's Grandfather or Father...or even her Uncle (who looked after the unexploded bombs!)

It's an amazing little book of cards! Let Us Play...not, Let Us Pray!

And here's what I was doing at seven o'clock this morning! Playing ball with Arlo in the frosty field near me. (And finishing off this weeks freebie!) I will make up with some crafty stuff next week. Honest! Nip over to Stamping Ground and Join in!! Have a Great Week! Thanks for stopping by!

This Week's Wednesday FREEBIE! CLOSED

Kitty And Katy or, if you prefer, Katy and Kitty. I don't draw people very often...they always look a bit one sided and wonky! Unless of course, they're aliens or robots, and then it doesn't really matter!  Thank you for stopping by! CLOSED

Blast From The Past #4

Every Monday I'm going to (or try to!) add a card, or creation that I made waaay back, as I've noticed a lot of my pictures from years ago have disappeared. So...here we go with something from either the 1st of the month, first time I'd used or done something or... made on a Monday or made in the same month as now! This one is the first time I used those teo PinkPetticoat papers together.

This blast from the past comes from  February 2013, using one of my favourite Limited Runs digis. It was and most likely the only time I'll use that Sentiment! Don't forget there's no longer any Quirky Crafts and most of the links here do not go anywhere!

It's Really Quirky, This Supernatual Love

Over on Quirky Crafts, Cazzy has put on a reminder about our latest Challenge, another week to go. It's all about Supernatural love... and I was thinking, seeing Nikki from Limited Runs is one of our sponsors, I HAD to use one of my old favourites,  Mad Madison with her Axe. And just when I thought I couldn't think of another way of using her, I thought of two ways! Here's one of them! 'I love you to pieces.....The Tinier the better!'
Madison's been 3D-ed... well, her head and half her body and the axe head have been 3D-ed, coloured with Promarkers, printed PNG Madison straight on to the red tiny heart paper and then added to the card. All papers are PinkPetticoat.
I've added some eyelash wool, four heart brads and a few punched out hearts too, plus glitter to the edges of the card as well as  Madison's bow, axe and the front of her dress. The tiny black ribbon was recycled from a top and Glossy Accents has been added to her eyes.
Inside I've used Madison again. This time a little bit smaller over the same red heart papers and also pale green heart papers, this was then all printed out together. (It looks layered but it isn't)
The Font is is freebie. It's called, very appropriately, Head-injuries  (It takes me ages to plan all this you know, I don't just throw it all together willy-nilly !) click on the link or google the name. Click on the pictures to make them bigger. Pop over to Quirky Crafts, and join in!!  Thank you for stopping by!  I'd love to enter this into some...

WOYWW?!-#663

It's another WOYWW!? Day welcome to week #663. Click the link and come and join in!

Came across a 'A stitch in time'  atc, celebrating three years of WOYWW from Annie when the ATC box fell off the top shelf and landed on my head! So I thought it would be a great idea to add it to the Twiglet one from the 12th aniversary last year! Love it!

I've made a start at putting my stamps back where they were, on that bottom shelf. The ProMarkers (only the ones with coloured ends ) will go back where they were too but I have to finish those boxes I made for them... put in some kind of sloping inner self to stop them all from falling out!

I had a new die cut and have just started making a box...(Actually I had two...I asked for the 'box' and got the 'book' anyway!! only another 7 boxes to go! Or??? maybe more. Have so many ideas in my head! Must have been when that atc box fell on my head!

The die-cuts still left out  are mostly heart dies, left over after making Hubby's Valentine Pop up box card. Now all I have to do is to remember where they all came from! Maybe it's time just to put all the heart dies in one place!? What would you do? That's it from me this week, what have you been up to? Pop over to Stamping Ground and join in! Don't forget this weeks freebie! Bye for now!

This Weeks Wednesday Freebie! A Weird Toadstool CLOSED!

This lovely card was made by Elaine and coloured with her  Promarkers! I haven't done a weird Toadstool in ages...so here's one! When I think of a weird Toad stool I think of a stool with a Toad sitting on it...but I think I've already done one like that. Thanks for stopping by. CLOSED

And here's one I coloured on the computer coz I'm lazy!

Time for 'T is for Tuesday'...just!

Yum! That does look good...and if I hadn't already eaten those cookies...they'd be gone! I'm running late as usual, so I'll be quick! Here's my T for Tuesday post. Actually, no...these first two pictures were last weeks, but I really did run out of time and didn't post in the end. And, as you can see...or not see...no crafting at all! (apart from Hubby's Valentine pop up box seen in the last post)

Out with the dog, Arlo who was staying with us these past couple of weeks, and spotted this bent tree and thought, I'd take a picture and then take another one in the summer to see what the difference is...a lot greener I should think, and most likely some small black cows standing under it in the shade.

Now... this is this weeks pictures. We don't normally buy the ready meals, (because John's a really good cook!) although years back the Tesco meal deals were very good (and you got wine too!) These two food packs were from M&S, and quite honestly, they were horrible!  John chose the Lamb Hot Pot and I had the Chicken in red wine... yuk!  Couldn't eat it. It really was as bad as it looks!

Last week wasn't good for us as one of our family passed away and we've been busy doing what you have to do when that happens. Then we were really glad to spend the afternoon chasing balls down on the beach with Arlo. Throw a dog a ball, and you have one very happy dog! We walked along the beach and I ended up having Hot Chocolate and John had a beer, in the cafe on the cliff top. You'll have to imagine that, as I didn't take a picture! Hope you all had a happy T for Tuesday. Visit Altered Booklover where you'll find so much more arty stuff to have a look at!  Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Valentine's Day!

No, I didn't make hubby a Valentines card... I made him this pop-up box instead! I thought it might be quicker seeing I've never got any time...but it took hours and hours die cutting and punching out all those hearts! It really could do with some more. It's a bit of a mixture of papers I've used too but I think they go well together and you can't really see them anyway. (of course if my craftroom hadn't been so messy I could've found the hearts and the papers a lot quicker!

The Box Card is easy and there's plenty of  toturials on YouTube on how to make all different shapes and sizes and it folds flat for posting

Closed box and the back and sides.
The papers I used were from 'Wellington'  A4 Ultimate DieCut paper pack by Dovecraft. The Heart ones are from a Kars 6x6 Paper Pad called 'Paperpad Love.' The pages I used had glitter. Both I think are  pretty old and no longer available (Another Crafty Charity shop find near me) and the third paper with love and kisses all over it, I found on my computer... but appear to have lost it again. The die-cuts were made from whatever Dies and punches I could find. I still think it needs more hearts so might add more later. That's it from me! Hope you have a very Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for stopping by!

A Blast From the Past #3

Every Monday I'm going to (or try to!) add a card, or creation that I made waaay back, as I've noticed a lot of my pictures from years ago have disappeared. So...here we go with something from either the 1st of the month, first time I'd used or done something or... made on a Monday! This one is the first time I used that PinkPetticoat paper and thet digi and the CraftsTwo die cuts.

Here's a really old one going back to February 1st 2013, and seeing it's Valentines Day, I thought it just the right card to add here for the 3rd Blast from the past! (some of the links may not work but I will try and add new ones where I can)

Ewe Valentine Ewe!

Happy 1st February!! Here's a quickie Valentine's card I made using last weeks Bugaboo freebie! Happy Valentine's to Ewe! Sorry he's gone now, I meant to post this in the week and forgot!  Foxie has taken his place and he's just as cute! I'll try and make a card with him later!  The sentiment on the front comes with the sheep. You'll find him in the Bug Store now.
My Card. All Pinkpetticoat papers...I think they're really Christmas ones but I liked them and never used them before, so thought I would! (coz I can!).
I've also used my new CraftsTwo die cuts, square scallops, nice, like them. Also bought me some Pinflare Gel, non silicone... Mmmm? What's happened to it? I'm going to have to moan, it's doing the same as the StickIT glue does, showing through the paper/card (It's thicker than paper but not as thick as card) Have they changed it, cos it never used to, at least it's not as bad as the StickIt glue, but then those digi's were coloured, because this was a sheep, I've left him/her white with a bit of Promarker Pastal Blue around the edges. The sheep's head has been 3D-ed, hope you can't spot the splodge of gel glue staining his face! :(
Anyway, moan over, I've used micro fine white glitter on the wings, think I should have use clear, would've sparkled more I'm sure. I've added punched out hearts, fixed on with a Quickie Glue pen or similar and ribbon from my stash! Oh and one Heart Brad...
The Font I've used on the inside is a freebie, it's called Daddys Girl,  or Google the name! The + sign (on your keyboard) becomes a diamond and there's a few other little quirky bits too that you can see in the picture, click to enlarge. The sentiment on the front of the card comes with the digi You'll find it in the Bug Store  That's it!  Thanks for stopping by!

What's On your Worktop This Wednesday#662

It's Wednesday So?? Whats On Your Worktop? Nip over to Stamping Ground and join in. But First, before the crafty mess...not a good week for us as I'm so sorry to say, Lady Pam passed peacefully away on Monday afternoon at home. Me, John, Debs and even Arlo the dog was there to say good bye. She would've been 91 this June and I shall miss her giggles so very much and her little catch fraze, 'Funny... in'it?'

I'm afraid my bench this week is a bit like last weeks with this weeks mess piled on top. I was putting my stamps into those white baskets along the shelf just seen in the picture but have since decided, I prefer them where they were, just loose so I can see them all.

As you can see, I've done a bit of die-cutting... then Julia's stamps arrived Sunday Afternoon... .that's them on the middle right. And that little Christmas treat box I came across when I was putting the Christmas decorations away a few weeks back. Everyone had one, all slightly different, filled with Chocolate Reindeer poo! The reel of heart ribbon came from that Crafty Charity shop near me, a full reel for 25p and some more stamps and a couple of dies for a £1-£1.50 so that was definitely, my bargain/s of the week! For those who asked, yes it is a charity shop that sells nothing but crafty things, which is brilliant! They have other shops in town, selling just toys and 'posh' clothes. Just had to type this out again as Blogger won't save it! That's it from me for now, the freebie is on its way... I did do a short T for Tuesday post for yesterday, but for some reason, blogger never sent it. Thank you for stopping by. Have a Happy WOYWW Day!
