A Blast From the Past!

 

 Every Monday I'm going to add a card, or creation which I made waaay back, as I've noticed a lot of my pictures from years ago have disappeared. So...here we go with something from either the 1st of the month, first time I'd used or done something or... made on a Monday! This card was the very first Card I entered into a challange, back in 2009! only I didn't, as I didn't link in probably! Thank you for stopping by!

 Yesterday I recieved a message that read...''look who's died"  with added crying mojos, from who I thought was one of my customers, but no! So if anyone receives a message from me saying the same sort of thing, please delete it!

Here's my bench for this week. Some Christmas Gnomes I didn't finish last year. I'm hoping to start doing at least two Christmas cards a month, so that I'll have a few ready for Christmas 2022.  (But I wouldn't bet on it!) This weeks freebie is there...odd that it started off as a cat... and turned into a cacti. Then there's some stamps and a Die-Cutting Essentials mag from waaaaay back, from the Crafty Charity shop near me, complete with the gift.

Happy Birthday Emma! With A FlipFlap Card!

 It's my eldest daughter's Birthday Today! Happy Birthday Emma! So of course I've spent the last month, well-nearly, making her a Birthday card. I've been having a go at doing a Flap Flap card  and watched Sam Calcott's YouTube tuturial. Third time I followed the 6x6 how to, and got it right! I've added a link a quick YouTube video showing what's going on inside of my card HERE

 Pull the tab and another layer pops out...pull again and...

 ...these two pages flip out. I was going to add a stamped 'Cheers' and a 'Happy Birhday" but chickened out because I just knew I'd smudge it if I did! The papers are from TrimCraft, now called Craft Lable, ButterFly Kisses, I bought the bundle a while back which included loads of other things, including the topper, gems and flower, which I've added here. (plus buttons, pegs, gems, flowers, butterfly sequins, wooden butterflies etc) The 'happy day' sentiment is wooden and coloured with a Promarker. The little B is a diecut. (all Die cuts used were from 'The Works') The stamped Penny Black images, from my stash were also coloured with ProMarkers. (bought them from a crafty charity shop and this is the first time I've used them!)

  

 On the inside of the card, I  later added a lilac miri card 'Happy Birthday' circle with a balloon. (Seen in the video, link above) Then on the back I added a topper and some party sequins. To finish, I added a Wink of Stella on the Pussy Cats.

 

That's it!  I hope to add this card to some challenges later. Thank You for stopping by!

Time for T for Tuesday

 

  Morning (and afternoon) Tuesday People! I'm late as always! This is my morning picture....cold Tea and last nights Orange Juice with 'bits' and....a small butter beer tankard, which I got nearly ten years ago when visiting Harry Potter, Universal Studios. Hoping to go again next year on the 10th anniversary of our visit. (If you want to see me flying a broomstick click the Harry Potter Link above!)

 Here's a close up of my latest (cold) Tea pussy cat mug (Half Price at Tesco's) and an empty glass of orange juice. The Penny Black stamps were left over from making my eldest daughter her birthday card... see that in next post.

 T is for Tie Died. My Grandkiddies have been Tie dying stuff, and this is one of their bags they sent to me for Christmas!

And here's my latest Charity shop bought Cow Mug with Hot Tea as I'm drinking it now with... agh, Custard Creams. Hubby has decided to stop buying sweet things so that means no more  Treble chocolate cookies. (meanie) Once I finish those Red  Gnomes they will become Christmas Cards. I'm hoping to make at least two a month, so I'll have a few ready for this coming Christmas. This morning I had another Covid (self testing)Test, so I could go and see my brother.

 Here's a picture of the Two dogs we looked after last week. Maisie was having her first visit to a pub. She was so good!

 And last, on This Tuesday post is Mr Jinx... sitting in my chair, although he's sure it's his!

 It's Wednesday, WOYWW? So it must be What's On Your Work Top Time! I missed  last week...as I was doing dogs-in a retired sort of way. Completely K%a*ker^d now! Popover to Stamping Ground and join in with loads of other crafty worktop people. The top picture is the left side. Below is the right side...

Stuff mainly left over from making b-i-l's birthday card. I first called it a flip 'n' flop but it was a Twist and Pop...

The phone box in the background was saved from someone elses recycle bin about five years ago, it's suddenly reappered, but I still can't think what to do with it! And below.... the dogs...

HappY BirthdaY PaT! Not too Old for a Twist And Pop Card!

 

Happy Birthday Pat! And here's Pat's Birthday card, I made in a hurry nipping back home in the evening for an hour over the week... as we are still House sitting dogs!
 I wanted to do something fishy... but I did that last year...so I added a few fishy things to the back... actually, come to think of it, last years card wasn't that fishy as it had cats on the front...

This card ended up being a mixture of everything I could find too!  The front should've had the shaker balloon on it but it went a bit wrong. I'll link the crafty stuff I used, later.

 

This is the inside. I've made the Twist and Pop mechanism smaller than suggested as I find them easier, and the more you make the easier they are to do.  The balloon at the bottom is the shaker that I decided not to use. I'll leave it as that for now, dogs need a walk! Have to go! Bye for now!

This Weeks Wednesday Forever freebies

 I'm away house sitting dogs for a while. So, that means no real freebie digi this week as I'm rubbish at drawing from my wacom straight onto the computer....because you're looking at the screen rather than looking at what you're actually drawing and with me that turns out pretty rubbish and very wonky! I like to draw it first, scan it into the laptop/computer rub out all the mistakes and then beef it up a bit. So...these are a bit weird but forever freebies. You can just click on them and save to your computer. Just shapes and colours I could easily conjure up on the laptop. Lastly, a bit of trivial, did you know you can type lillipop with just your right hand...
