Morning WOYWErs, hope you are all well and fighting fit! If you want to know more... join in over on Stamping Ground.
Here's my bench for this week. Some Christmas Gnomes I didn't finish last year. I'm hoping to start doing at least two Christmas cards a month, so that I'll have a few ready for Christmas 2022. (But I wouldn't bet on it!) This weeks freebie is there...odd that it started off as a cat... and turned into a cacti. Then there's some stamps and a Die-Cutting Essentials mag from waaaaay back, from the Crafty Charity shop near me, complete with the gift.Short and sweet this week, see you all later! Thank you for stopping by!

I think your freebie looks great! good luck with 2 Christmas cards a month.. a great idea to get ahead, but I wouldn't keep it up either!! Have a great week and congrats on no 1 spot. Helen #4
ReplyDeleteNice find at the crafty charity shop Lyn. Love the cute catcus too lol. Hope you manage your Christmas card challenge this year. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5
ReplyDeleteMorning Lyn. Magazine still with the freebie! Good find! Loving the cactus - how odd that you started drawing a cat and ended up there... Well I never.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hi Lyn, you’ve been busy this week! I know cats who turn into cacti if you rub them up the wrong way. 😏. I’ve got one sitting on my lap right now!
ReplyDeleteTake care and happy WOYWW

Sounds like a good doable plan making two Christmas cards a week. Good thinking

Number 1! takes me back! I think 2 Christmas cards a month must be do-able, I’ve hauled my box of Christmas out of the attic room and back into my workspace with a similar intention so I think I may (try) to follow your lead! Cactuses are really in vogue at the moment, and one with a cheeky smile like that will be really used..great idea.
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, short and sweet is good for me. I haven't put all my Christmas stuff away either as I always feel more enthusiastic about making them now than I do at the end of the year and yes there are some unfinished so we'll see. Loving the Cacti cat. Happy woyww, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn - you're bright and early! How on earth did you manage to turn a cat into a cacti? Looks cute either way. I wish I had one of those crafty charity shops near me too! Best wishes, zsuzsa #17
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being number one!
ReplyDeleteLove the Cat-ki! I keep looking and cannot find the cat in the drawing but hey, it is cute!
Take care and keep safe and well
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
Well done on getting your Christmas cards done and ready! I recycled some of the handmade ones I received for next December too, it seems a shame not to reuse them after all the hard work that’s gone into them.
ReplyDeleteHugs LLJ 11 xx
Love the little cat cactus - very cute. I wish you luck with your two Christmas cards a month, I know I'll wish I'd done that nearer the time!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week,
Diana xx #18
Congrats on being number one!!
ReplyDeleteAs you can see from my desk, I am utilising one of your images, thank you so much for them.
Well done on making Christmas cards, big failure for me.
Have a good week

Hi Lynn! 2 cards a months sounds do-able - great idea! I should also do 2 Birthday or Thank you cards a month as well. I made up a bunch of cards with just the backgrounds using my gelli prints, all ready for the main images, hopefully that will help too. Have a great week, Lindart #27
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being number! Loving your sweet cactus, though I think I will forgo a hug! Happy WOYWW Angela #2
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your desk. There is always something interesting on it. Have a good day. Edwina Brown
ReplyDeleteLOL, I'm not sure I'd want a hug from tat cactus even though he is cute!! Neat find at the charity shop. I can't wait to get back on the Christmas card production line!! (But I wouldn't bet on that happening either!!) Happy WOYWW, stay safe, stay well, Love n hugs Cindyxx #22
ReplyDeleteThe cactus is cute! Great gnomes, too! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteCarol N #21
Pleased to see you are doing Christmas gnomes - I make Christmas cards all year round! Mind you I have been very disappointed this year as my cards took an average of 6 weeks to arrive. They are turning up this week - Aus to UK. Maybe I need to get organised in July...
ReplyDeleteLove the cactus image...and that sounds like a good find at the charity shop.
Happy WOYWW!

Thanks for calling by at mine. 2 Christmas cards a month sounds very doable but I’d have to be in the right mood to do them lol. Love the cactus.

Hello Lyn, just read your comment and had to ask how Mr Jinks is doing. I hope it's nothing too serious that's kept him at the vet's.
ReplyDeleteLove the gnome but not sure I'd want a hug from the cactus. Silver, on the other hand, wouldn't mind. Not judging by the way she molests my husband's collection of prickly plants!
Nice to find the old magazine and a bonus that it still had the freebie.

Cute cactus - have you been watching Green Planet!! xx Jo
ReplyDeleteooh cat in cacti, love it as I am a sucker for plants! I get the making Christmas cards in advance, for the past few years I have tried to make 20 cards by the end of January then I dont tend to make any more Christmas cards until November! I have about 18 made so far so not far off
