WHats On Your Worktop Wed--no-Friday!#825

Happy VERY Late WOYWW!? Go visit Sarah's Craft Shed to find out more!! In spite of all the chaos with the kitchen refit, I have managed to do a bit of crafting, so there is something on my craft bench... It's only cutting out, glueing and making folios with a few freebies from VectoriaDesigns. Go visit! Get email reminders. Worth it!!

The freebies, showing balloons at the top of this picture come via SevenPlaza from her Ko-fi shop, it's for the #MassMakeMarch. Another challenge I wanted to join in with this month. The other papers are VectorianDesign.
The kitchen is still on going...painting, flooring...a
hiden drawer to fix inside a larger drawer...and my loft ladder trapdoor won't close properly, as they didn't realise it was electric and pulled on the hatch door...ohhho-n-no no-no-no!

I have started in the garden, but  just haven't any, what's it called?? Motivation? Brotheration?? So, I'll show you that next week, if anything changes. Then the neighbour, at the bottom of my garden has an ovrt hanging tree, which has slowly began ripping off all the roof covering on the shed half of John's Man Cave...I texted her, but she said, 'it wasn't her tree'??!! O...K. So who's tree is it then? The man in the moon!? So I sent a picture. She said, if it was her tree she would fix it...but that was nearly two weeks ago....I know why, it's because I haven't made a contribution to her new fence yet..but quite honestly, she's asked for a lot more.  If only I can find that money tree!!

Old Breakfast bar...all my own tiling!
I have been very naughty and ordered a 'rolling butchers work bench, with drop leaf' so I can sit in the kitchen and eat...as the worktop there has long gone. That should be coming today...just watch me try and put that together...I hope it's easy!

 Dexter Hunting for the ball
I had Dexter in the week to take out for a walk...in his case, a charge about everywhere with the ball, he was pleased to see me. Hope he's not missing Duke too much, they were such great buddies together.

Here's an old picture of my gel-plate to remind me to find a space somewhere so I can join in with Ceri the Crafters #MixedMediaMarch25 , cos it's nearly over, and I haven't even started yet!  Time waits for no one...
That's it for now, someone's just texted me to go let their dogs out... me thinks they must've forgotten to ask me earlier...Have a great weekend....The clocks change here this weekend (Mother's Day too)
, I think. That'll be fun! Happy WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!

**Up Date Butchers Bench has arrived... 😕 more on that, later!

Very pleased to find 'The Diary of an Edwardian Lady', papers, toppers, an embossing folder and stamps, pop through my letter box this morning. Hopefully going to have some fun with these. Tom's Finished Pop up Box Birthday Card

I was going to add a birthday number....but the card wasn't big enough for that! At last, Tom's card is finished, although, with this type of fold away box card you (meaning me) can go on adding things forever! After a lovely day exploring gardens and houses and having a picnic, we took it over to him along with some birthday money, never know quite what to buy, apart from a house, car, a superzonic racing bike, some rock climbing shorts or anything StarWars.

The Card.  This one with fit into a six and a half square envelope, as I went over a bit, but you can make them any size and shape.  There's loads of "how to make"  on YouTube. Sam Calcott has this one  and here's one that's very easy and this one and many more. I've added toppers to all my panels, but that's up to you.

Most of the sporting stamps I used came from Creative Stamping magagazine, #92 (Jan 2021) The peeping cat above came from  Crafter's Companion...

and this other cat is from their 'Smitten as a Kitten', Penny Slider Cards set.(Love them both!) Oh and the mice! Lawn Fawn of course!

Both the  letter die cuts used here and the bearly seen ones in the front were from either The Range, Trago Mills, or Hobby Craft.  (sorry about my gluey thumb!) I coloured everything with my ProMarkers. Any 'Ink overs' I used Vintage Photo, Distress Ink. Anything else was scraps from by stash. The tiny racing bike is from a freebie set, Bike Riding Set by Chantahlia Design...there's tons of freebies over there, go look see!

And, last picture... I made the back look like a door  and added a key hole. That tiny little bow on the cat came from a hangbag set of dies I picked up at the Charity Craft Shop in Lymington for 50p, I also got the matching shoes! Might make another Pop Up Box card  using handbags and shoes!

Hoping to add this to some Challenges later ...I've just recieved some ATC's I wasn't expecting! How Fab is that... all nine of mine have gone off... so, I'd better get crackin' and make some more!! Thank you for stopping by!
I forgot to add the...

Here's the Finished Twist and Pop Easter Card again

I posted this card  last week. I made it for the Grandkiddies. I managed to get it finished Easter morning...glue still not quite dry. It's a top folding card with a larger  topper fixed to the front.

Later added some white card to write on the back

I've added gems, a bow to the front as well as making a small embellishment from  the Easter patterned paper I used inside, which were freebies waaaaaaaaay back-a mixture from QuickCards made Easy ##111 and Cardmaking and Papercraft. I found some HERE. You may have to login. (The clouds behind the puss-cat are from my stash)

The papers on the front of the card are from a 12x12 paper pad called 'Viva Forever' The Easter Egg ribbon's from my stash, probably from Crafty Ribbons years back. I won a bundle and still have loads left.

The bunny and spotty papers on the Twist and Pop bit, I've found but the link doesn't work... I've added 'Hello' and balloons using die cuts from my stash. The mechanism is also a die-cut from  Sam Calcott's Made To Surprise, called Garden Delights  (I think I got mine a bit cheaper! The stamps and papers to match had already sold out)

I coloured the puss with ProMarkers, which I think I've already said. Now, can I enter this into some challenges now that it's finished? I'm not sure, we'll see! We have dogs tomorrow...but I'm hoping to load up the little  Easter boxes and houses I made. Bye for now!

A Blast From The Past #2 Valentine Card

Every Monday I'm going to add a card, or creation that I made waaay back, as I've noticed a lot of my pictures from years ago have disappeared. So...here we go with something from either the 1st of the month, first time I'd used or done something or... made on a Monday! This one is the first time I made a 'heart' easle card and the first time I'd used this 'Tatty Ted'

Be My Valentine! From Guess Who!?!

"I Love You This Much!" At Last I've made a card! I've used a 'Me to You' Tatty Ted from a sticker set, fixed onto acetate and a folded strip of card, so he can stand up, on my easel Valentine card made specially for 'him in doors'. John. (Hubby)
I made the usual easel shaped card but then cut the bit that goes on the front in a heart shape and edged all round with red Stickles Glitter to help hide my not so good cutting out!
I've used Sizzix 'Love' 'Heart' and 'Hearts' die cuts.
Who can spy those velvet hearts from Hobby Craft that Tom (sil) left behind from making his card! (I love that rose!)
Probably not a very 'manly' card but never mind! I've also used freebie backing papers from Quick Cards Made easy Magazine, which allows me to enter their February Challenge, I hope! You can download the papers here. You may have to login. (UP DATE>>>Or Try Here for other Valentine freebies as Quick Cards Magazine is no more!)
I cut out the I Love You This Much sentiment using a small heart shaped punch. The font is also a freebie. It's called Dragline BTN  or just Google the name.
On this picture, you can just spot the pink card behind Tatty Ted, holding him slightly off the page. There was a pink spotted bow, but that seems to have fallen off! (trust me to spot that after I've taken the pictures!)
New Follower! Hi and a BIG ((wave)) to AV_H which sounds all very mysterious, from 'Down Memory Lane, who has made a card using one of my digi's! And, I should think, coloured it beautifully in Photo Shop. (I must learn how to do that shading!) There should be another very late 'Quirky' card is on it's way, but my batteries... I mean, my camera's batteries have just bleeped at me! That's it! Thank you for stopping by!
