WOYWWednesday! #871 Another Receipts Master Board

Morning! Happy Wednesday peoples. Here's my WOYWW island in the kitchen where I'm still House/Dog sitting. So much for me promising birthday cards and even a freebie last week. Sorry, things got a little bit hectic here for a few days! Tyres getting punctured, twice in two days, because of our very pot-holely roads (Not mine luckily!) Then poor Bronte woke up limping. It wasn't her paw, maybe a pulled muscle. (which it was)Trying to get permission from her owner in Spain back to the vets, for me to take her to the vets, took all day! Anyway, once that got sorted, off we went to the vets. She's been given medication. (the only way she would take it is with chicken and rice for their evening meal. (Remi got rice and chicken too!) Then, me and the dogs, Remi and Bronte, nipped upstairs to another appartment, to sit with Annie and Max the dog, while her hubby was getting and fixing his tyres.

Having cups of tea with Annie and Max
The next day poor Annie fell and an ambulance was called and yesterday I walked Max around the garden (It's a very large garden) with the girls looking very puzzled and barking, from the sunroom. Today, Annie should be home from hospital. Above is Max. He knows I have treats in my bag.

Back to the crafting, which I have managed to do....using till recepts, plus a parking ticket (I've done this before) I'd grabbed a 12x12 paper pad from home, containing mostly papers I probably would never use, so I can scan them in once I'm home, and use them to make other 'things'... I noticed the dates on some of these tickets go back to 2013/14! I really must have a throw out when I get home!
I'll tidy it up a bit later and save it as an A4 or- take it to the stationers and have them print/scan it full size...then all the lumps and folded bits are flat and smooth. Like the one below.

Tomorrow I'm nipping out to walk Dexter, and on Saturday, Lola's coming for the weekend. (I have retired, honest!) I'll be home then, and will start on the 'clearing things out'.

Above, carrying on from last week, I have made some more Christmas Tags. Sorry not to get around to all of you last week, will try harder this week. Have a great day. Coming up next is a birthday card  for Josh that I promised ages ago I'd post when it was finished. Happy WOYWW! Pop over to Sarah's Crafty Shed and join in. Thank you for stopping by!

#It's WOYWW Time #862

 Back of Finished Folder
Morning Peoples! Yes I'm here today. You wouldn't believe the month I've had. Disaster in every corner and its still not over yet! So many things going wrong-far too many to list here. Let's just say I have spent HOURS and hours/all day, three times this month just waiting at the garage to get things fixed.

The main one, was that my car got 'recalled!' Something 'dangerous' had to be checked! Anyway! Enough of that already, as it's WOYWW time! So pop over to Sarah's Craft Shed and join in!!

Pictures show what I've been doing this week, (inbetween everything else) cutting up and fixing together one of VectoriaDesigns freebies.
I also bought a set a few weeks back...then had an email stating an extra 60% off and I thought, I think I'll buy that one, not realising it already had 70% off so, in the end I paid more! Tinne did warn us in the email.... And guess what??? A few days later I had a refund of the over payment! Thank you Tini!
 Inside the folder
The one I bought I haven't finished cutting up yet, so I'll show you that one later.
Also, in the pictures above,  you can see I've also cut up one of my masterboards, using the banner of my digis and a 6x6 paper pad. I don't think it came out too bad....will be better when finished. Well, that's is for now, as I'm off to walk Frankie. They've just moved house... from #25 to #13...how strange is that? Have a great WOYWW day!! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW!? #854. A bit of a mess

I know it's been months....I've been down in that dark pit and lost the ladder to get out...but it's not all bad! I actually haven't put my laptop on  for weeks, poor thing. So, seeing I had this mess on my 'worktop'  I thought I'd join in...Happy WOYWW-hope you're all well and crafty fit! A few weeks back, I did do a terrible YouTube video of my untidy Craft Room in the hope that it would make me do something about it. Anyway, I was asked, by my neighbour, to make a card for Josh who would be 18... so, out came everything, I covered the table in the living room, and got started with a 'cars and golf' theme, so the above picture is the making of that card....not quite finished yet. I'll show you when it's finished but you might spy it in the top left corner! Happy WOYWW!? Pop over to Sarahs Craft room to see more! Bye for now!

WHat's In Your Worktop WeDneSday #800!!!

Yes! It's WOYWW #800!!! Can you believe it!? Above is how my worktop is now, today. I was going to try and 'do something crafty' but ran out of time! So, I'm showing you my very first WOYWW Desk from waaay back here!  in 2010/02/! when I used the bigger bedroom...I can't make the pictures any bigger, but you can see, my work top is just as messy!! In fact....there's a lot of the same stuff in these older pictures. Maybe it's time I had a VERY BIG clear out!

Then I found these pictures from 2011 when we made something to swap and I made "my craft room in a box"
I was quite chuffed with this make, 'specially adding that spider!
As you can see, it's still a messy craftroom...but super tiny! So!! pop over to Sarah's Craft Shed and see what everyone else has been up to!Happy 800th WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!

Its a Tuesday T Day and a Wednesday What's on Yours #797-again....

Okay, I'm home from not being home. (House/Dog sitting) It's surprising how much stuff one takes with one for a two week stay at someone elses! I'm still unpacking. So!! Coz of werid internret goings on, and that my mouse wouldn't work for some reason. (I use a mouse, as that 'move around with your finger thing' never, and I mean, NEVER goes where I want it to) First, sorry for being so late and not getting round to every body and also freebie less...I will make up for it, at some point! Hello WOYWWers. Not much on my work top as I'm still unpacking stuff that you've already seen... but I did buy another trolly from Aldi at £7.99!!!.... (In black or white, but they've gone back to being 12.99 now) Still, if Hobby Craft ever have a half price sale on their lilac trollies, I'll be in there like a jackrabbit on speed! (or maybe not) I also did a bit of sorting out and put some of my Lawn Fawn dies in magnetic pockets and I've been playing with my blog background again...just wish blogger did something a little bit more exciting in purple that will fit! **My wish has been answered! I found how to make it purple!!! YAY! But I will keep changing it.

I can't miss T for Tuesday so, instead here's T for Thursday, coz it will be by the time I post this. (Elizabeth and Bleubeard hosting)  It's my last breakfast at my dog/house sitting. They'd sold out again of the ColdPress fruit, tea, veg drink, which I really love, so I tried this 'Mockingbird' one from Tesco's... bit dearer that the others...tastes??? o....k... I say slowly, but I won't be buying it again. Virgin juice, crafted with Mandarin, Lemon Balm,  Carrot, Ginger, Turmeric, and Orange...There's also a 'doggie with a Bone'  cup of tea and my usual 'Pains Au Chocolat' with extra Nuttella! And for all of you who said you love dipping a spoon into the Nutella jar....Me Too!! "Oh Yum" I even gave away a whole jar to my Grandkiddies to stop me from doing that! But...Tesco's had the larger jar on offer.

Sunday (John's anniversary of passing way) I put this Heart shaped arrangement on his stone... it isn't real, as the deer eat any flowers put down. I thought it looked really pretty. I had lunch with family to wish John a 'miss you so much' toast with red wine and some champers. (Not me coz I had to drive home) Debbie bought the red wine as it was one of John's favourites.."It was sooo cheap, a bargain," she said...only....instead of a box of full bottles arriving, only tiny half bottles turned up... making them really very expensive! Debbs said, I bet John's up there in Heaven laughing!! And with that...I'll say, 'Thank you for stopping by!

Its Definitely WOYWW!?Day #777 I think!

Hello WOYWWERS! First I'd like to say, sorry if I'm not getting around to you all, but I am! It's just that the comment bit, where you click on to leave your comment... has not always been working for me for some time. I even have a problem leaving one on my own blog!  So that's another blogger problem I have to add to the list.
Above is what I did with last weeks geliprint mishap, where it stuck to the gelPlate... I made these into ATC's. This week, I've been busy with dogs, so decided once they'd gone back to theirs homes, and I'd tidied up, (Long job) I'd just  potter about, sticking things to other things... Keeps my mind from going into meltdown. I needed some storage boxes... so covered these. The bigger one was once a wine bottle box, just cut in half. I've used tons of scraps and coffee stained book pages and for the first time....

I used this....and liked it. Last month I went all the way over to Hobby Craft to buy the large container at half price with my birthday coupon, only to find they didn't have any left. 😒

I don't know what the difference is between the green and the black lid, as Emma, my daughter gave me the nearly empty green lidded one... anyway, love it and must get some more! (The BIGGER one!)

This box was cut in half... and I can still make another one from the bit I cut off, and the smaller one below, was also covered in the same papers, which were darken first with TH distress Oxide,

  I also made...

bag tabs, with papers from a very old crafty callender by Cardmaking and Paper Craft, over a decade ago. (I never throw anything away!)

Tags, tabs, labels, and bookmarks made with scraps and packaging.

..Envelopes. I saw someone making an envelope journal with bigger envelopes so used up some of my 6x6 papers...hoping to turn them into a 'little envelope journal' later and...

....Just Labels, because my printer is still not printing properly, it's all fuzzy and out of focus, I can't print out any labels, so I stamped some instead.

Some are backed onto that brown recycled card and some are left as paper/thin card.

That's it I think! Pop over to Stamping Grounds 777th week of WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!  (Scroll down for freebies, they should still be there, if not, email me)

It's WEDNESDAY! What's On Yours???#776

Morning Crafty Peoples. It's a WOYWW day, again! Pop over to Stamping Ground and join in!! As you can see...still no luck at adding a new background to my blog! Never mind...To stop me thinking about it, and going in and probably deleting it all by mistake, (like I nearly did to my digi store) I thought I'd play with my smaller Gel Plate.    I'm waiting for some crafty goodies to arrive from Craft Stash, as they were having a sale, and seeing with the extra VIP discount it means the T Holzt inks I want/need, will be cheaper than where I normanly buy them, which is Emerald Crafts in Lyndhurst. Sadly they will be closing their doors at the end of the month after about 17-18 years! Where am I going to buy my large bottle of Collall glue from!? I was going to go up there this morning, but then I had a message that my package would be arriving in an hour (yeah ok) So I played with my paints...disaster!! The paper stuck to my gelplate... I took a picture of my mess, and even that came out blurry...Then!!! ding ding on my phone, (not on the front door) and my package had been delivered! Yay!
So, with my new goodies, I salvaged my mistake... and used my new inks and oxide inks over some stencils
(I had in my stash) and way hey! I think that will do for some ATC's.
My Craft Stash package contained TimHolzts inks and oxide, and a notch and corner punch, which was less than half price. But I think my baragain of the week, from a charity shop, was the 'as new' six hole puncher, for £3, seen in the left hand corner.  I've been looking for one of those for ages, so, a lucky find! Now, I'm off to Emerald Crafts for my last look before they've gone forever. Have a great WOYWW!? week. 'See' you all later! Thank you for stopping by.

Ps...I am going to do a freebie later!

Whats On Your Worktop #775 and a spot of Painting!

What's On Your Worktop #775 already?? Yep, time waits for no one! Well, it's afternnon here. Lola's a sleep, (little dog that's staying with me at the moment) so I've nipped into my craftroom to quickly do a WOYWW!? post, that's going on, every week, over on Stamping Ground! I've done a bit of 'slap it on painting, covering an unwanted 12x12, and hoping I'll be able to turn it into tags, atc's, postcards, journal covers or something else. (Or just something that my brother in law will put into that dirt great skip he's promised to get, when I've gone...) I've sort of followed Ceri The Crafters YouTube tutorial, for the April 2024 colour combo, Makers of Mixed Media Art and Artist Facebook group, using Cream, Magenta and Teal, plus black, white and gold too, if needed.

It's not finished yet...waiting for it to dry then, I'll add some scribbles or use my Posca pens to make shapes or even do some stamping.

I also made  another sideways pocket tag (idea from SevenPlaza I think)  using the village's monthly church 'Link' magazine. Bluebells for spring. I think you may've already seen the other one, made from a masterboard a little while back but it wanted to join in too! Short post today, as I'm house, dog and Professor sitting tonight while Mrs Proffessor is out. Lola's coming too and she soon lets the other dogs know who's boss! Here's a picture of her this morning.... so cute!

Added this morning, Little Lola.

Blogger is still not letting me load my photos in the 'normal' way, so it takes an age! And have you noticed??? My background to my blog, has disappeared!! It's just, black now, looks like I've fallen into the darkest deepest abyss... oh well, that's me alover! That's it for now, off to house/dog/Proff sit! Thank you for stopping by! See you over on Stamping Ground later!

What's on your Worktop (Wednesday) #773 on A Thursday?

I'm sooo late, but you wouldn't know it if I didn't tell you, would you? No. So?? Sssh! I won't say a word! I'll just join in over on Stamping Ground and no body, arm or leg....will know! I started making these  tags with pockets and then tags to go on the side of your journals using the invisable paperclip idea, inspired by SevenPlazer's Mass Make March... and I was thinking making them to separate my stamps and dies...

I'd already made some dividers with tabs so I could find the die/stamp I wanted, (putting them into alphabet order) but then, when I bought a new set that didn't go with any of my categories, I'd make a new divider with a tab, but there'd be no gap for it...so, me thought if I could have 'removerable' tabs using the hiden paperclip idea, then I could just shifty them along a bit either way... but some happy mail arrived  and I started making little hole reinforcers...Then I got waylaid as the doctor's surgery rung and asked me to book another blood text. (had one on Tuesday) Why? said me. Something about my white blood cells or my red plates (???)  where a little 'abnormal'.  I understand abnormal, that's me at the best of times. 'Maybe you've not been well' sez the lady on the other end of the phone. Yes, a couple of weeks ago I thought I had really bad covid again (I didn't) Could I get a doctors appointment?? No. Anyway...

I'm wandering off topic... where was I? Oh, Yes. MadmassMake... and to answer Crafting with Jack's question from last week, the tabs are folded over to make a pocket that goes down the middle... and the others are folded like bags with  concertina sides. (Ideas from SevenPlaza) I just folded loads of pages up and glued down the sides (massmake you see) and haven't actually finished any yet. I found 'The Complete Guide to Calligraphy' book in a charity shop for a pound (my bargain of the week) and just love all the writing and pictures!

That's it from me! I have some cards to make. We weren't having an Easter Egg Hunt this weekend, as last year I bought/made loads of Easter things and no body came, they'd all gone off on holiday. But suddenly, yes, the kiddies want an Easter Egg hunt! So, hope you all had a Happy WOYWW!? And a Happy Easter! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW!? #767 Crafty Goodies from Temu, Local Craft shop and Craftelier

Morning, WOYWWERS! I mean afternoon Crafty Peoples! Hope today started off well for you... It's raining here! Surprise! I'm actually in my craft room today... and in the kitchen, joining in with WOYWW!? over on Julia's Stamping Ground!

Above you can see my small haul from Craftelier arrived, it took ages!! (Temu is quicker)  thought it was coming from here, in England, but of course it wasn't. I wanted The Magic Forest, had some from my local Craft Shop...Emerald Crafts, about 35 minutes away but they  only had some stickers (which I already had from them) and I really wanted more (don't we all!) But they did have some 'Deep Cocoa' A4 240gsm card, which I'm going to use for the journal. I've seen a few YouTube tutorials using The Magic Forest, which I'm going to use as a guide. I did try CraftStash first, wanted to use my 10% VIP, but no luck. 'Your search returned no results'

At Emerald Crafts I also bought some Distress Oxide 'cracked pistachie' ink (the first one I've ever bought) and  this cute Tim Holtz booklet 'District Market', the only one they had with £3 off, so, that jumped into my basket too. Then I drove up to see Emma (lovely daughter) and the three of us went on to Hobby Craft, were some goodies popped into Niamh's basket.

Now I know you're going to moan, but....this pen holder came from Temu....it appears I had some 'rebate' so this was, well... no money at all!  A little while  ago this arrived... under £2 pounds...there is a dearer one.. (about £6) It's a little photo box with light and extra coloured felt to add inside...

It's on my cooker. It folds flat and has its own little bag too. You can even take pictures from the top.

What else arrived?? Oh, well, I'm not having much luck with my GoPro Camera, still not found the grapper to hold it, so I ordered this for my phone...

Don't laugh, I can hear you! That thick wobbley bendy bit is very strong and hard to pull into the shape you want...I mean, it was getting in the way of any filming and...for the life of me, could I open that foot that fixes onto the shelf? No!  Temu got the seller on line and he couldn't workout why I couldn't just unscrew it and said he'd get back to me... Meanwhile, me wanting to use it NOW, drove over to Bro and Sis inlaws where Big Pat said, "threads twisted, you'll never get that open," and used a dirt big knife to false it open and Hey Presto! That did it... meanwhile, I have seen a phone holder with a ringed light attached that looks perfect for what I want it for...on Amazon. So, that's it from me! Happy WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!
