WOYWWednesday! #871 Another Receipts Master Board

Morning! Happy Wednesday peoples. Here's my WOYWW island in the kitchen where I'm still House/Dog sitting. So much for me promising birthday cards and even a freebie last week. Sorry, things got a little bit hectic here for a few days! Tyres getting punctured, twice in two days, because of our very pot-holely roads (Not mine luckily!) Then poor Bronte woke up limping. It wasn't her paw, maybe a pulled muscle. (which it was)Trying to get permission from her owner in Spain back to the vets, for me to take her to the vets, took all day! Anyway, once that got sorted, off we went to the vets. She's been given medication. (the only way she would take it is with chicken and rice for their evening meal. (Remi got rice and chicken too!) Then, me and the dogs, Remi and Bronte, nipped upstairs to another appartment, to sit with Annie and Max the dog, while her hubby was getting and fixing his tyres.

Having cups of tea with Annie and Max
The next day poor Annie fell and an ambulance was called and yesterday I walked Max around the garden (It's a very large garden) with the girls looking very puzzled and barking, from the sunroom. Today, Annie should be home from hospital. Above is Max. He knows I have treats in my bag.

Back to the crafting, which I have managed to do....using till recepts, plus a parking ticket (I've done this before) I'd grabbed a 12x12 paper pad from home, containing mostly papers I probably would never use, so I can scan them in once I'm home, and use them to make other 'things'... I noticed the dates on some of these tickets go back to 2013/14! I really must have a throw out when I get home!
I'll tidy it up a bit later and save it as an A4 or- take it to the stationers and have them print/scan it full size...then all the lumps and folded bits are flat and smooth. Like the one below.

Tomorrow I'm nipping out to walk Dexter, and on Saturday, Lola's coming for the weekend. (I have retired, honest!) I'll be home then, and will start on the 'clearing things out'.

Above, carrying on from last week, I have made some more Christmas Tags. Sorry not to get around to all of you last week, will try harder this week. Have a great day. Coming up next is a birthday card  for Josh that I promised ages ago I'd post when it was finished. Happy WOYWW! Pop over to Sarah's Crafty Shed and join in. Thank you for stopping by!

  3. You have had a full week! I hope that Annie’s not too badly bruised after her fall, poor thing. Max looked a bit worried in the photo, poor love, he’ll be happy when she’s back home. I’d never have thought of making a background from till receipts! But it works really well, clever you.

  6. They're something you get nearly every day and can look really good on a cover or a box, with added extras!

  8. Sounds like you've been busy. Sorry to hear about Annie and hope she's bedtter soon. Stamps are one of my favourites for Masterboards but not used till receipts, great idea. Happy woyww, Angela x8x

  9. You have certainly been a busy bee! Well done on the dog sitting. Potholes are becoming a nightmare all over the place and so easy to hit one when it's full of water and just looks like a puddle! x x Jo 🌈

  10. Well Lyn, you’ve done it again, given me a right old WOW moment, the receipt masterboard is genius..social history and scrapbook gold all in one! And that picture of Max is adorable, isn’t he sweet! I do hope friend Annie is recovering well. This retirement of yours is very full on! I expect your dog owner friends wouldn’t know what to do without you.

  11. Super receipts sheet - latest journal page used receipts in the backing collage. I have loads going back many years if I ever decide to chuck them, I hope I remember I can make a collage sheet beforehand. Hugs BJ#9

  12. Loving your receipt master board Lyn. Hope everyone (dogs and humans) are feeling better soon. Not at Mum's as I have a rotten cold and didn't want to inflict it on her. Making quick visits between samples. Stay safe and happy belated WOYWW. Sarah
