WOYWW 903!?

 

Well, I know I said in my last post, see you tomorrow....but, I didn't say which, 'tomorrow' so it's today, on a Wednesday, a little bit late for WOYWW hosted by Sarah’s Craft Shed, but never too late to join in! Above, I haven't done much, just got a few scrap papers  and some little journals out to give me some ideas on how to finish my black 'clock' craft book. I've added some small gold corners to it. I also found a bigger  book and covered that in black card.. but not added anything to that yet. In the background are some boxes of bulbs, which I'm hoping to make tags out, so the flowers, once planted will have a labelled name tag, coz I always forget what I've planted and where...

It wasn't me

  I've been a bit off this week, like most weeks...can't seem to get in the 'mood' but still very busy entertaining Frankie, who's been staying with me. He loves green toys best...well, when I say loves them...he loves them to pieces! He also loves jumping into my small pond after his ball, which he chucks in there on purpose. Silly dog! Still, he gets me out walking three or four times a day! Weelll, that's me done, have a Happy WOYWW day! Thank you for stopping by!

A birthday Card for a Lady

 Here's a Birthday card I made a little while back... It's really Valentine's Paper from somewhere I've forgotten. Let me know if you know who, but I just loved the  colours. I'll have a hunt, and if I do find it, I'll add a link here.

It came with this page too...which I used for the inside. Printed out two sheets and reversed one of them. Sometimes I'm clever...or not. Did you notice? (no) I've had over 3,452,08 page views! This weeks late FREEBIE-An Oldie from the past!

 

Morning! I'm having trouble with people taking money from my account, under the scam 'you get it cheaper if you subscribe' but you don't, they just keep sending less and taking more money!! And my dyslexic brain can't handle it!! (I have many words stuck on my wall so I can smell spell them! as well as my phone handy) so the freebie didn't happen, mainly I was hoping I could download pictures the normal way (see last post) but no ...I've had no luck so far, so we will see!  I've chosen a freebie from waaaaaay back, an oldie, and here he is,  go here to download him...hope you like him/ show me what you do with him. WOYWW 901!

Wow, I just made it...with less than an hour to go  before it's Midnight! Happy WOYWW 901!  I typed that bit before I realised it wouldn't let me load any of my pictures!! (angry growl) I'll tell you how I sorted that out at the end...

 I've not been in a good place this week (anniversary of Hubby passing) and haven't done anything, (apart from binge watch StarGate) I bought spring bulbs, but they're still in their bags. Then I decided to get off my butt and do some crafting! I've had this little black scrapbook, from The Works, for ages and wanted to do something with it....so?? This is what I've started doing... Above is the front cover of the 6x6 black scrapbook. Below is two of the back pages... 

  I've taken about 8 pages out of the book so far, and using them for pockets and backings. I'm going to try and keep to the dark backing paper, as I think they go with the black back ground.  

 The papers I'm using so far I've had for ages, probably years. (again hoarding them) So I thought it was about time I used them up...

   I was thinking of giving the scrap book a title, any ideas??

   Above is the back cover, I really like that paper, but hoarding it doesn’t get it used!! And I know this little scrapbook will look so much better when it's finished. Now!?  How did I get my pictures uploaded??  Click  on the HYML view...yes I know it looks jibberish, but never mind... load up your photos as you usually do. You won't 'see' any photos but a pop-up will ask what size and where (left, right centre, etc) Just click on what you want. This is supposed to be large and in the centre. Then go back to compose... the pictures may or may not go where you want them and appear at the top instead, but at least you can shift them about from there... Well that's it from me! Well, as I'm up to my eyes in washing driveways and clearing out gutters...I really haven't got any new crafting to show you. So I'll show you a card I made for Son in law...birthday money is in the envelope...

And below is the one I made for Grandkiddie, Oliver. I'd had this map for years...honestly. Years. So? It's about time I used it, I thought. So I did, and made Oliver's card with it...The 'treasure' of course, was his birthday money...hidden inside a secret pocket.

Here's the back....

The pocket's hidden in the bottom square...where X marks the spot. It all folds flat to go into an envelope.

And seeing I haven't got any mojo for just crafting... except masterboards...
