Just One More Snowman

Another 'Snowy' from PennyBlack, coloured in Promarkers and one of the last Christmas cards, I thought lost and then found again, forever hiden in the jumble of 'stuff' that fills my craft space, hall, living room, and the bed in the spare room!

Snowy was already coloured in his purple hat and scarf when I found him down the back of my bench. Spiders removed, I recoloured and resparkled him with silver and gold Stic
kles. He was already mounted on a scalloped diecut retangle. The ponsetti's were the last in a packet from years back, as was the bits of red mirror card and bakers swine. The snowflake was left over from another project, although this time it hasn't been embossed, it's just plain ol' paper. Both the Christmas papers (inside and out) were from 'The Works'. I like the way Snowy peeps around the extra bit of  topper, as though he'd been hiding, which when I think about it, he was! thank you for stopping by!  Hoping to find some....

Three Snowy Toadstools. This Wednesday's Freebie! SORRY CLOSED

Morning crafty people! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and are all well and safe and didn't eat too much Christmas pud!  Here's this weeks freebie. A wintery scene. I like toadstools, so when in doubt, draw a toadstool!

Sorry it's a bit wonky. Managed to get it into my laptop, pressed on the black paint to darken the outline up a bit and it went all furry! And then, when I tried making the 'paper' whiter, it disappeared and left grey smudgey bits everywhere... thank goodness there's an undo button! Oh poo I said, although I think I said more than that. I imported another page to sit over the top of it. (That sounds like I know what I'm doing, but I haven't a clue!)  and ended up 'tracing it'

No sharing please. Anywhere. Please comment below. Don't forget. Make anything with any of my digi's, I'll showcase it in the store and you may choose any digi as a thank you!  Thank you for stopping by!  See you on WOYWW later!

A Frostie Freebie from Bugaboo!! (CLOSED)

Yay it's Friday, and here's my card using the  Bugaboo Friday Freebie! Isn't he just too cute!?! So, don't sit there reading this, get over to Bugaboo and grab this cute snowman before he melts!!
My Card...Freebie  'Snowman Star' digi from Bugaboo HERE. (**If you're coming later, you'll find a different freebie here now) I've 3D-ed  him and the star, coloured with Promarkers. Added micro glitter. The papers are by Raspberry Road Designs Christmas Collections inside and out and the element 'Jingle bells' is from the Raspberry Road Christmas Accessories CD are both freebies from Quick Card Made Easy Magazine last month.
The sentiment was done on the computer. The shape is the same shape I've used inside the card, I just cut it out using my BigShot (with the words already typed on the paper)and then moved the die-cut up until it made that shape.
I've also added a gold peel off corner, gold peel off snowflakes and some eye-lash wool.
The font is a freebie, it's called KG Eyes Wide Open (I've linked it before I think) download it HERE.
The snowy paper behind the snowman I made on the computer and you can download that HERE free too! I put the snowy paper and the PNG Snowman into Word. Fiddled with the size, put the  snowman over the snow/sky,  copied another snowman, cut off his arms and the scarf behind him, then fixed over the top of the first using silicone glue. The tiny holly was made by a tiny Woodware punch.
That's it! Thank you for stopping by! Off to add this to some...

A Snowy Tatty Ted. **Freebies

Seeing you're all sooo busy making your Christmas Cards..(not) I thought you might like to see this one...It's a freebie, you should already have it. The link's on my side bar. (Look for the Decoupage one, for us poor card makers) Looks like Tatty Ted having a bit of a dance with a snowman. But if you're tooo lazy (like me) Here's the LINK
I printed them onto glossy photo paper/card, not the expensive stuff, the pound shop kind and used silicon glue to decoupage them up. I'd run out of snowflakes (Peel-offs, not real ones) so cut a few in half to make them go a bit further. I think I'll use a smaller card next time, like the snowmen in the post below. This is another freebie from Funky Fairys! Little boy in blue with his snowman friend, There's also a pink little girl. Go hunt them out! HERE
oh! I've found the rocket ship! (just going to stick it all together now)
Right!! Blog Candy!!! I've put all your names on post-it notes (all followers who have ever commented on my blog since the beginning! I'm I mad, or what!?! It took ages!! There were hundreds of them!) Your name was added again if I found my banner on your side bar. I also counted emails I'd received. I was going to put them into a hat, but it was too small, so now they're in a big bag instead. I thought, as soon as Frog the cat wakes up, I'd put her into the bag with the post-it notes (she'll think it's a great game) and see how many of the post-it notes stick to her. The one that stays on the longest would be the winner. But, as John's just pointed out, some of the post-it notes aren't as sticky as others. So...instead, I'll get John (to go in the bag??) No, to pull out 89 post-it's from the bag (that's how many followers there are) and the name that appears the most will be the winner...and I'll post the name of the winner tomorrow morning!! Bye Bye for now!!
**some of these freebies may longer be available, but check the links out for other freebies
