A Snowy Tatty Ted. Freebies

Seeing you're all sooo busy making your Christmas Cards..(not) I thought you might like to see this one...It's a freebie, you should already have it. The link's on my side bar. (Look for the Decoupage one, for us poor card makers) Looks like Tatty Ted having a bit of a dance with a snowman. But if you're tooo lazy (like me) Here's the LINK
I printed them onto glossy photo paper/card, not the expensive stuff, the pound shop kind and used silicon glue to decoupage them up. I'd run out of snowflakes (Peel-offs, not real ones) so cut a few in half to make them go a bit further. I think I'll use a smaller card next time, like the snowmen in the post below. This is another freebie from t Funky Fairys! Little boy in blue with his snowman friend, There's also a pink little girl. Go hunt them out! HERE
oh! I've found the rocket ship! (just going to stick it all together now)
Right!! Blog Candy!!! I've put all your names on post-it notes (all followers who have ever commented on my blog since the beginning! I'm I mad, or what!?! It took ages!! There were hundreds of them!) Your name was added again if I found my banner on your side bar. I also counted emails I'd received. I was going to put them into a hat, but it was too small, so now they're in a big bag instead. I thought, as soon as Frog the cat wakes up, I'd put her into the bag with the post-it notes (she'll think it's a great game) and see how many of the post-it notes stick to her. The one that stays on the longest would be the winner. But, as John's just pointed out, some of the post-it notes aren't as sticky as others. So...instead, I'll get John (to go in the bag??) No, to pull out 89 post-it's from the bag (that's how many followers there are) and the name that appears the most will be the winner...and I'll post the name of the winner tomorrow morning!! Bye Bye for now!!

I love the cards, I love freebies (off to download them on the main pc momentarily), but MOST of all, I love the fact that you named your cat Frog! :D Our first gerbil was called Catfood :P

Frog was named 'Frog' because she 'looked' like Sally Field, who was nicknamed 'Frog' in the movie, Smokey and the Bandit.

How to Make (My Favourite!) A Shaker Card

1. Making a Shaker

1. Making a Shaker
Fold your chosen backing paper around your frame and cut off the corners.

2

2
Glue down making sure the paper is nice and 'tight'. I used photo-glue as it's easy to rub off the excess.

3

3
Smooth out the edges and corners and your frame should now look like this.

4

4
Fix Double Sided tape to the acetate, rather than the frame, the backing paper will be easier to peel off.

5

5
Fix the acetate to the back of frame using DS tape.

6

6
Choose paper that will match well with the frame and your card, as this will be seen through the 'window' ~or not! The frame can be fixed straight onto your card, if you wish~ but not yet...

7

7
Cut out the chosen paper and attach to your card. Make sure there's no sticky bits or your beads will stick to it later. You can add wording or a Stickeroo too!

8

8
Fix 3D foam to the back of the frame (over the acetate) make sure there's no gaps, otherwise you'll lose all your beads!

9

9
Add some beads or glitter. If it's a beach card you could add sand! Or how about snowflakes for Christmas!!

10

10
I add a little bit of glue stick over the 3D foam, to stop it being so sticky, that way, I can still lift it off if it's wonky!

11

11
Press your frame down firmly over your beads.

12

12
And there you have it...

So Cute!

Penny Black Elephant Shaker Card

Penny Black Elephant Shaker Card
This is Emma's birthday card, using PinkPetticoat papers. I used tiny little beads inside the 'window'.

A Big Thank You

A Big Thank You
Not sure I'm pleased with the 'G' mainly because I know it was once a 'C'! I think I should've used pattened papers to match the other letters. The little 'Thank You' tiles were printed from my laptop andfixed with 3D foam pads

Forever Friends Teddy

Forever Friends Teddy
I stamped this lovely little Forever Friend bear on to card and then on to some PinkPetticoat papers. My ink had just began to run out, so the lilac faded to blue, which was handy, as I used this for the ribbon! Papermania glisty ribbon. Flower and little envelope, PinkPetticoat

Forever Friends Bear

Quick card made using the Forever Friends stamped image and papers.

I would've normally used thicker 3D foam pads here, but seeing it had to go through the post...

JollyNation

A three page card for my Valentine! I may make him more of a 'lovie-dovie card later...

The words were done by hand. 'I love U in your Overalls. I love U in your suit. And when you wear your Fireman's hat, I think you're very cute!

Valentine Teddies

This is Last Years Valentines card. Do you think John will remember?!

Mum-in-laws Card

Mum-in-laws Card
Acetate over the front of the card. A free bear topper from a magazine. Free down load papers from ScrapGirls and MadaboutCards 'Mum' was done on my laptop, the font was a free download too. Brads, peel-offs and stickles glue, finishes it off quite nicely, I think!

Yum! Who could want more!?

Chocolate Brownies and Mother's Day Cards. Magazine Freebys, free down loads and computer wording were used to make these cards.

Happy Easter

Cute little Chick! These flowery papers would look lovely on any card

Relax...it's your birthday!

Relax...it\
I made this card for my sister-in-law. She loves cats and has just bought two little kittens. Oh what fun!

The glitter came out a little too fast! I really wanted a larger brad for this flower but didn't have one, or a black one. So I inked the brad with black ink, then covered it in clear embossing powder and heated it. I stuck the brad in a bit of blu-tac to do this, it was very hot!

Pretty PussyCat Pink

Pretty PussyCat Pink
This one sort of made itself. Some scraps of PinkPetticoat papers and a good matching pink hand made paper with glittery flowers on it, seemed to all go together nicely!
