Well.......singing street cats? Yes, they could be singing anywhere really, couldn't they! On a garden wall, down an alley, on a compost heap. I think my next card using this stamp with be a little more imaginative. Yesterday's card was a quickie (you can tell can't you) but today's card well, poor thing got chopped about so much it's a wonder it ever came to life! I stuck some 'stuff' on it. It's sort of woven and comes in a strip. Really stiff and quite rough. I think I bought it from a florists. Anyway, I did the same as yesterday but left a bit more of the pearlized card showing, but then decided to cover the gap with this 'stuff'. Course I used double sided sellotape, which showed, so I covered that with glitter. Result? Uck!!! What a mess! So I cut it off! (Which meant the poor card only had about an inch in the front) and replaced what I cut off with acetate, then added the bottom bit of card to the bottom. With me so far?? This meant you could see through the card. I thought, I could put a message there, but decided to cover the insert with some matching paper. I stamped and embossed the singing pussy-cats, then coloured them with my ProMarkers, cut them out...but the whiskers were a bit of a problem, so I cut them off too! (Don't worry, they're not real cats!) then I stamped the acetate with another row of singing cats, so that when I attached the first row of cats it would appear that they still had their whiskers! Now, see the bottom corners, have 'corners' It's my new punch. I didn't know what it was or what it did, but it was half price with another 20% off so I just had to have it! (I think I'm addicted to buying crafty stuff.. like some people buy underwear or shoes or buns...with me, it's crafty gadgets that I have no idea what they do) But this punch turned out to be a photo corner punch. It cuts and embosses, and it's actually holding the insert in place, rather than having it flapping about! The font on the outside is the same as yesterday (Scroll down for the link) I've just put in into 'WordArt' on the computer to making it a bit wavy.
The font on the inside, you might already have on your computer but if not, it' a freebie too, it's called Cheri and can be downloaded here I like the little hearts instead of dots!

Oh my! it's nearly tomorrow! but before I go I'd love to welcome a new follower! A big ((wave)) to Crafty Lou! Hiding out the back with no picture, sorry I can't put a link in here as there isn't one. I've done a bit of Sherlocking and found three Crafty lou's! So Crafty Lou give us a shout, come and say hi then I can put a link in to the right one!
That's me done for today. Tomorrow, we're dog sitting, so might not post until Sunday with (another drum roll please!!) the winner of the second week of crafty bits Blog Candy! Bye til then!
