Happy WOYWW!? Hope you're all having a very crafty week. I'm still trying to orginised everything but made time for WOYWW, so pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in. Now, above is what my ATC's ended up as. There's a larger version of my favourite one at the bottom of last weeks post. Most of these have gone but there are a few left. (they have numbers) I can take a bigger picture of each one, if you don't want to 'post' swap.
Last Wednesday Mary Anne's ATC arrived! She must have a magic wand! Then yesterday two more arrived..
Annie's with her fabulous collage and stitching and (Felix The Cat) Angela, sent this lovely book mark which is already in use!![]() |

And! if you were charged extra for postage please let me know, it wasn't til much later that I relised I'd used the ordinary 1st class stamps and not the Large letter first class stamps....( the ones sent over the pond will be okay)
I am still catching up with the painting in the house and out side, but I have taken loads off the tall bushes and dug up others...Most of my pots have been done, still a few more to go and then still more planting and weeding to get on with... but first, today I want to have a second attempt at trying to register my new appliances, not looking forward to that! I haven't even used the oven yet. I'm rubbish with numbers over the phone and even writing this I have to google how to spell most words first. I know I need an invoice, well, a few months back I found something in one of the bushes I was about to saw down...it was a bit wet and snail chewed, with loads of numbers, so I shoved it into the back of what was the airing cupboard. Luckily!!! This has all the infro they need but I know I'll never get all those numbers right...they said they'd email me...so far, no email. Why? Probably because I didn't smell spell out my email right!
Hi Lyn the stamp you used was fine. I checked with the post office before sending mine to you and she said even with the bookmarks a normal stamp was fine. I love the ones you sent me the colours and images are brilliant. Good luck in getting your jobs done too. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww. Hugs Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteOoh, you made me wonder about using the Christmas second class stamps I had knocking around but after seeing Angela’s comment above, I hope I’m ok! Hope you have some time to craft as well as doing all the jobs!

Your ATCs arrived, so stunning, but still really want to know about that paper. It's amazing, just my style. Wish we could have seen you on the Zoom, but I guess you were gardening LOL! My desk time is done so glad you appeared before I had to go lay down for a bit. Fighting a bad back so brief today! Happy Year 17 start to WOYWW!

I've just realised I posted you the wrong papers, so I've ordered more and when they are in...watch the post box!
DeleteNo! Me on zoom, I'd break the camera lens! and as for the paper....I've ordered some more, it should be here soon, so watch this space...

Thank you Annie, hope mine arrived too!
DeleteI can see why that is your favourite ATC Lyn - it is wonderful. Hope you manage to get your appliances registered. Trying to visit all tonight as I have workmen coming tomorrow to sort the rotten gatepost and rehang the gate. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteYour favourite ATC is gorgeous! Loved all the pics of the 16th anniversary items! Happy WOYWW! Susan #5
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, not to be a weed in your garden then. I am relishing ours this year, we even have a nettle patch and I won't let hubby cut the grass this month either. The daisies have taken over but are so pretty and the insects love them too. I'm sorry you struggle with numbers and spelling and I hope you have managed to do what's required now. Adore your ATCs they are super colourful. Hugs BJ#1
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, sorry to be so late! Your ATC’s are simply gorgeous. We won’t be home until August so if there’s a postage charge, I won’t know till then. Like Mary Anne I love the paper! We have just had a night of rain, the ground will be sighing with relief! Happy weeding! A belated Happy WOYWW. Angela #13
ReplyDeleteHello Lyn. your ATCs, those you made and those you received, are all beautiful. I recognise your problems dealing with the registration of your new appliances. As I'm dyslexic, I have problems on the phone and much prefer texts and emails. Like you I have to check spelling so writing my posts seem to take me forever! Hope you're having a great weekend.
