Happy WOYWWednesday! I'm back with the dogs, and doing a bit of this and that in the sunroom again. Already been out a dozen times around the garden and woods with the dogs, so...a bit of me time. I've brought a few crafty things with me...plus dies, stamps and papers from some happy Mail I went home for yesturday. (Home's not far away) My magazine was waiting for me too. Still haven't managed to find where Die Cutting Essentials latest freebie papers are, or this issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft. It's all changed. You have to go through filling in your address, email,
etc, and then either download there or when they send you an email. I
liked the old way better, where you just downloaded it and you'd been
able to see if you'd already got it as it would have a little note on
the side telling you when..(ie, 'you downloaded this May 2018') Change always confuses me! Anyway! Moan over. I'm covering a detergent box again...well, why not? Just deciding weather
whether to match the lid to the bottom, like I usually do, or not
bother... ohooo such decisions! I need a pencil, can I find a pencil? No!
My happy mail yesterday consisted of, a few paper packets of 6x6 and 5x7's, in that really bright wizzy patterned paper... I chose some different ones, plus some dies and stamps, a rubbish bin sticker cover...(I mean a bin you put rubbish in, not that the bin's rubbish **up date, the sticker was!...already in the bin and not on the outside of it!) -which I left at home-and a few things like washi tape and stickers...
Here's this months 'freebie' from Simply Cards and Papercraft #271, as I said above, still haven't found where to download those 'freebie' papers yet! Well, that's what's on the table in the house/dog sitting sunroom this week! Ohoo one more thing! Only I haven't got a picture, so I've 'borrowed' Sarah's! Julia's atc arrived, it's #7of 9... being a Startrek Fan I noticed that! I hope she got mine, as being a bank holiday weekend this weekend gone, the post box looked sadly neglected! Thank you Julia! I did a little happy dance!
Now, that's definitely it from me, until I think of something else to add. Happy WOYWW everyone. Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in!! Thank you for stopping by!Up date, a little later...I've finished covering the box and ended up matching the lid with the box's bottom (Oho-er!) and I've made a little note book to match...what d'you think? ('don't give up the day job') Catch you all later!
Oooh, I love those new bright coloured papers you got through the post, they’re gorgeous and look like you can use them all. Don’t you find in paper pads there’s always quite a few that just aren’t nice? That pack looks great, have fun!

Its nice here. plenty of space to run about and chase squirrels! (and moles)
DeleteYes! Some of them I'd never use, ( not these. I'll use them all but!) but! I cover them and make masterboards from them... Ceri the Crafter gave me that idea sometime back, then they become something that you like!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the colourful papers. I'm with you it seems really difficult now to find the free papers, I seem to go round for ages before I find what I'm looking for and I'm sure it used to be a lot easier than it is now. However, wishing you a very happy woyww. Hugs Angela x8x
ReplyDeleteOh do please send me the link for those lovely papers! I have been looking! You used to be able to go to the main website and download the freebie papers. I have more or less stopped buying the magazines. They have got so expensive, I suppose it’s no different to everything else we buy, but I have lost interest in buying them. I need to hide the next empty washing tablet box, my husband threw away the last one! Happy WOYWW. Angela #9
ReplyDeleteOh yes! Those covered boxes are really gorgeous. I like washing tablet boxes. I made a desk tidy for Ben with the box and lid- keeps all his drawing paper and pens together. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteLoving the box and notebook. As for me having the sewing machine out on a separate "permanent" table was brilliant for Making Zen. I was pretty busy, hence my late reply. Hugs BJ#5
ReplyDeleteSo lovely to be enjoying the warmer days in the sunroom 😊. Loving your crafty projects, so pretty! Happy June, enjoy ❤️. Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteThanks again for my delicious little paper happy mail. But what is it called? where did you get it? I have not been tempted by any new paper till I saw those - and what you did with them is stunning. I would cover a wall with it if I could. LOL! Boxes like that are so sturdy it's a shame to bin them. Keep at it. The week got away from me but Happy (so late) WOYWW!
