The Very Top picture...at last there's not such a big heap on my normal craft space...that's coz it's all got dumped in the living room (and bedroom) to 'sort out' not on the ironing board this time, but on a wallpaper paste table...it doesn't take any weight though, so there's not much on it...
A lot of my 'sets' like this Alice one above, now live in these files, which I can keep in a ring-binder, there are a few stamp doubles.
A closer look at the worktop in the craftroom...nice to see I have a white top (leftover from a kitchen top years back) Well, have a happy What's On Your Worktop Wednesday...Even though I've retired, I do have two dogs to take out this morning...plus a couple of weird visits to do....So, pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in! Thank you for stopping by!
Thinking about everything you have to sort is a bit overwhelming? Why not tackle a shelf/drawer at a time, it seems less daunting somehow. You may rediscover some hidden treasures!

What a great Idea....I've done my trollies last week, so if I just did drawers and boxes....that might work! Thank youJ an!

I try to get tidy because then I find things and start making something with them....but the thing I want to make never gets done!
DeleteGood to see you this week. I was thinking it had been a while ! Happy sorting ...take it easy! Helen #2
ReplyDeleteyes, I know....I've been down a dark well for some time now....
DeleteI absolutely understand all your thoughts about sorting stuff and it's just so hard. I am really going to have to be brave and let some stuff go sadly. Wishing you a very happy and productive woyww. Hugs Angela x11x
ReplyDeletetrouble with me is, a seem to make MORE mess rather than less!
DeleteMy room needs a good clear out but we crafters hate to throw stuff away don't we. Jans idea of a drawer at a time sounds perfect. x x Jo 🌈
ReplyDeleteI have a four drawers thingy on wheels, which only has envelopes and cards in it....its sooo heavy the wheels have broken!
DeleteOne step at a time Lyn. Worth perhaps going for that sorting idea though. I do know how hard it is to part with stuff. i have started donating to the craft club at school. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeletemy favourite charity craft shop is reopening this moth after just over a year, so I will take some stuff to them...
DeleteOh my, you do have a lot of sorting out to do! My art room is getting smaller every year, I had to buy 2 rolling storage carts last year, and they are full to bursting now! Maybe it's time to buy a new house...LOL! Have a great week, Lindart #14
ReplyDeleteI think I have 5 rolling carts all full, but they are pretty much sorted now.
ReplyDeletecame back after your comment. you can get lots of Alison Bomber's stamps in the UK places like the Stampers Grove (fabulous service) they carry all her Paperartsy stuff. have a good Sunday! Helen
ReplyDeleteJust wish I knew some of my unwanted craft stuff could go to a good home. Nobody seems to want it these days and there must be thousands of pounds worth of stuff there. Good luck with your sorting, when better I will have to start.
ReplyDelete``hugs, Neet 1 xx
ps calomine does not help the pain, sorry but thanks.
