Hello WOYWERS hope you are all well and fighting fit! (well, fit will do...we don't want any fighting!) No, I haven't been about... but house sitting dogs is now over, for now, and I am home, phew! Above and below was last weeks desk...in the sunroom, where I was staying.
But it got a bit hot in there, I did have the doors open, but the dogs kept charging off after the squirrels, so I moved into the kitchen and added a bit more...and on this weeks worktop...
I went (again) to the Crafty Charity Shop that opened a new bigger premises a few weeks ago. (hundreds were tryin to get through the doors then!) Anyway, not too many people this time, so a chance to browse, and I got, two new 12x12 scrap book paper packs, white with 60 sheets, 260gsm and the black with 50, 200gsm, which will fit nicely into those lovely scrapbooks I grabbed last time! Then some, never been used HunkyDory goodies, two or three die cuts, Sheena diecuts with stamps, Moonstone die cuts...(I looked them up....you have to buy the stamps separately...) more stamps and that alphabet diecut box by Sizzix (an oldie, but probably never been used) So, no real craftyness done...just a bit of playing! A real bargain of the week me thinks! Well, that's it for now!! Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in!! Thank you for stopping by!

Deletethat looks like a great collection you found at the charity shop. I look forward to seeing you use them. Happy woyww, Angela x11x
ReplyDeleteThank you Angela, I do a lot of 'doing stuff'...but forget to take pictures!
DeleteLove the receipt collage, must try that especially as I am doing colour collage sheets at the moment too. Some lovely goodies there I see. Hugs Bj#7
ReplyDeleteI save my parking tickets too, so I might mix them up a bit next time
DeleteI wish we had a crafty charity shop here - not that I need more stuff (got another order coming soon, oops...) so well done on grabbing some bargains. Happy WOYWW and enjoy your home time. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteI have a crafty order on its way...think I should block my phoe from recieving crafty emails!
DeleteWell, wow! The charity shop haul is amazing, that Sizzix alpha was well over £100 when new! Hope you get a lot of use from it. Really like the receipt masterboard what a great idea!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing this is Suze....£100!!!! wow that really was the bargain of the week as I only paid £2 for it.....As I was going up to the till, I was thinking, I wonder if it's £2 per die....I hope not!! But of course it wasn't.
DeleteNew stash can be so inspiring, right? but you never seem lost for inspiration. The receipts masterboard is wonderful. I do love an charity shop haul - I go to a similar place in Yeovil when I have a load of stuff to pass on - then come home with more. Oh dear... Such is the life of a crafter LOL!
ReplyDeleteA day-after-knitting Happy WOYWW!

Well I've promised them my stash when I'm gone! Seeing my brother in law is going to get a big skip!
DeleteThat charity craft shop sounds a winner! Where is it? I wish we had one like that in Wales! You really scored with that amazing haul.

That looks like a successful haul from the charity shop Lyn. Enjoy playing now you are home again. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah
ReplyDeleteThat charity craft shop sounds brilliant. Would love to have one here where I live. Our local craft shop closed last year. Enjoy using all those lovely goodies. Hope your are having a wonderful weekend. Elizabeth x #14
ReplyDeleteHaving fun with my gooodies. Yes, this crafty shop closed for about two years, or near enough, missed it! When it reopened there were hudreds of people trying to get in!
DeleteWe have been charity shop shopping today, I bought a stamp of a map of Cardigan Bay, also 6 books of Edward Marston, whom we both like, but nothing else crafty in sight!
ReplyDeleteSometimes I find stuff in other charity shops, but they don't put them in easy to see places, probably because the shop ladies don't always know what they are!
DeleteDear Lyn, I find your work with the collected bills from Ikea, Texo, Oxfam and the like very creative. And I love your "loot" from the Crafty Charity Shop – especially the cute turtle and frog stickers!
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Traude
