I know, where have I been? Anywhere but popping into BlogLand or joining in with WOYWW. Sorry I missed the ATC swap on Tea for Tuesday's Anniversary, (although I did make some ATC's) but, as I've said before, life gets in the way! I've had new plugs fitted, a new electric fuse box, the loft ladder is still broken, a man turned up unannounced, said he'd be back the following week...never showed, and, I had to hunt for a mouse for my laptop... I couldn't get onto the internet or sign in with my password as my mouse wouldn't work! And the whirling thing you work with your fingers, I've never been able to master that! I couldn't type in my password...
Anyway!! A lot of expence later and I'm here at last!! And today I have a small shopping hull from a charity shop. Two Edith Holden books, two 10p magazines, to cut up for when I ever get time to make glue books or use them for journals, etc...plus another Maws Broons cook book, which looks like its been hand made with scraps of everything! But, its not!
And, a new Sizzix die, never been used, plus a little magnetic box/book, (which once probably held soap, and will be just right for hiding 'secret things' in) all for under a fiver. Yes, I know I already have those books, but now I have more I won't mind chopping them up, and keeping the better ones. And here's my drinks for T for Tuesday....not sure what they are though! Have a great week, think of me digging, chopping, mowing, weeding, prunning, watering, cutting and planting! Thank you for stopping by!
good to see you again for WOYWW Lyn, I can't work without a mouse either; it's the main reason I stick with a pc rather than a laptop. Happy WOYWW Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThat was a good haul from the charity shop, hope you have fun using it! Don’t work too hard this week, crafting is good for the soul!

Ooh you got some good books. I am always on the look out for The Country Diary. What’s the book showing its pages? Not been very successful in the charity shops lately, although I did pick up 3 of the No 1 Ladies Dectective Agency. They are probably ones I have read already but Iam happy to re read them. Sorry to hear about the “mouse”, hope it’s all fixed now, hugs Angela #12
ReplyDeleteThat's Maw Broons Cook Book! I've added some pictures just for you!!
DeleteThank you x I found it on Amazon for 3:99!
DeleteThey are interesting looking drinks. Your words today sound familiar. I don't know where the time goes and there are always jobs to do especially when we would like to be crafting. Happy woyww, Angela x10x
ReplyDeleteWell that looks like a passion fruit martini right there in the centre - one of my favourites!! Problem with the pc are a nightmare and can really screw your plans up - good to see you but I have been AWOL too dealing with a bit of life. Hope everything is sorted now! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindyxx #12
