Welcome to WOYWW!?#765 A bit of a paint job.

Yes, it's Wednesday again....welcome to my link to WOYWW!?  I'm off to the dentist any minute now- not looking forward to this one, he always saves the worst till last! So first thing this morning I got out some 12x12 papers I'll never use and some A4 sheets of  DI Pro printing paper, 250gsm, very smooth, and my box of paints, ready to do a bit of painting, or Gel printing, later... maybe. So as you can see, there's not much going on on my kitchen bench at the moment. I blame Ceri The Crafter, as he did some nice blending of colours HERE. I'll add more photos throughout the day if at all possible or I might just have another Melt Down and go do something not on my list of  things 'To Do'! Have a great week, see you later...

Back again. Dentist went ok...he didn't do the broken tooth, just the filling, still cost an arm and a leg though! and to do the broken tooth will cost twice as much again!

Well, I did a bit of painting this afternoon... using some wet wipes, and a couple of stencils. Bit messy but I can see it might look good with a few things added!  I also had a look around a few charity shops while I was out and spotted a Country Garden Book, which I won't mind cutting up, unlike the Edwardian Lady's Diary book I found last week... The book was £1 and the magazines, 10p each. I have been making cards too and added Daughter's birthday card HERE. Have a great week! Thank you for stopping by!

It's Time for T stands for Tuesday...

At the moment I'm just about to go out with two dogs, so this will have to be a quick one this week. Join in with T stands For Tuesday over on Alteredbooklovers, where there are more Tuesday things to go check out... So, here's my very boring breakfast...there's fruit in the porridge as well as a fruity whizzz up this week, I'm living dangerously! The book is GoPro Camera for dummies....well, it must be for dummies cleverer than me! cos it may as well be written in a foreign language as my dyslexic brain can't make not sense of any it at all. The little dog in the picture is a battery operated money box, he eats coins!

Had a walk out down on the beach to a beach-hut where daughter and family were going to meet me, but....they forgot the key so turned back and decided not to come. I used to work in the little cafe on the cliff top decades ago, so popped in for a hot chocolate. Very busy, just like it always was... so this was taken outside... Have to go! Catch you all later. Have a great T day! Thank you for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Emma! Party in the woods Birthday Card

Yay! I have a daughter that is older than me! (big fib) but maybe not in years! It's her birthday today...she was a breech baby and came out feet first and still to this day has scars on the soles of her feet! How did that happen? (I tell every one that!) This is her birthday card! I do love it and I know she will too. This took me ages to make seeing I started it over the weekend (which will make the Wednesday Freebie late again...sorry) and for once I will be looking out for some challenges, I mean  where are they all? There used to be hundreds of challenge lists. Let me know if you know where they've gone! Anyway! I took a few pictures with the card inside this little white 'put together box 'with light!' (from Temu, it comes with different coloured background too) You wouldn'tt believe the crafty mess that's behind this box! (yes, we would Lyn)

I love the little mouse coming out of the tree house door with a macaroon. The windows are sweet wrappers. Most of the animals and the Tree House are LawnFawn.

The banner and the balloon I think came from The Works. Other bits come from The Range, online, years back, or from magazine 'freebies'. I coloured it all in with my ProMarkers...and also used some Tim Holtz distress ink/oxide

I 'invented' the background by die cutting loads of clouds and tree leaves in green, and sticking them all together, so it would frame the birthday party and make it look like they were in a clearing in a wood.

I think it turned out ok. It goes flat for posting by either pushing it up or down. I pushed it down to fit into the envelope I made.

That's it for now, Me and Emma...I mean, (Posh voice) Emma and I, are going Ikea shopping. Haven't been there in years! Will treat her to lunch and something new for her new home....(That's another card I made and haven't posted yet! I'm soooo behind!)  So, freebie with be very late again sorry! Have a great day! Back to add challenges if I find any! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW!? #764

It's Wednesday again (I'm sure it comes round twice a week) and time to join all Stamping Ground's  Crafty work spaces. Above is my craft room clearned of all wheeled trollies and dollies- not so cluttered as last week!  Steve (Kittle the cats owner) had been charging my GrPro camera's batteries  and I knew he needed a space to have a play.

He typed out all the cameras commands for me as he found them a bit challenging and didn't always work for him but luckily they worked for me (must be my silly voice)

This is Hubby John's box with all his gropro bits in it. It seemed to have everything but the grabber thingy that fixes the camera to the shelf so it can film me crafting... I think I might know who has that!

Found a whole punch of 6x6 Edwardian Lady papers which were 'free' with magazines, a zillion years old, so now I can play with them and not touch the lovely book I found last week in the charity shop...(maybe scan a bit of it though!) Been making cards, I have a couple of birthdays to catch up on... so as soon as Steve left after showing me how to recharge the camera batteries....this was the state of the kitchen! OOps!

John always said he didn't mind me turning the whole house into a craft room...although, the Kitchen was his domain, as he did all the cooking...

Taken Before covid and before the beard!

Anyway, I'm not going to bore you with any more pictures as I have  birthday cards to finish, dogs and cats to go and see to and a shopping trip planned for later with Emma on her birthday. Pictures of her card later. Have a great WOYWW!? Thank you for stopping by!

Update...sorry didn't post this on the day, as had a message from solicitors about John's probate (????) which there was no need for, and completely confused me and threw me straight down that black hole again. Total Melt Down!! So this didn't get posted on the day and has been back dated.
