Morning WOYWWers! It's the day we all hop around the World and say, "Hi!" to all the other WOYWWers! Starting of course with, Julia, over on Stamping Ground. On my bench this week is some clay, and I've been rolling it and cutting out these little gingerbread men with the cookie-cutter that came in The Papercraftsociety's box kit, along with everything to make a GingerBread House. (See Post below) Somewhere I have a bigger gingerbread lady, she's probably hiding in one of my kitchen drawers.
The black bits on some of their backs are magnets. Later, once they've air dried, I'm going to paint them and add beads and some Nuvo drops. I'm then going to add to the others, little eyelet screws in their heads, (it won't hurt!) then add ribbon or twine so I can hang them on the Christmas tree! (53 days to Christmas!)
Oh poo! Just talk amonst yourselves for a bit...blogger's gone off line... It's back! No...it's gone again! The whole page went blank! Don't Panic!! Well. I'll go off now and draw this weeks freebie and I'll finish this later! I've put it on timer! Fingers Crossed! Have a Happy WOYWW! See you when or if I can link in with Julia's! Thank you for stopping by!
Love Gingerbread items. I will be watching to see what you do with these clay ones. Edwina Brown

ReplyDeleteHave fun with your clay gingerbread men. Have you tried using that clay in a mould? I ask because Pink Ink have a bee mould and I was thinking of using the same clay. Have a great week Angela #14
ReplyDeleteYour little gingerbread men are adorable, Lyn. Just like baking, with the cookie cutter lol! Just don't eat them... Sorry you are having problems with wretched Blogger - you have my sympathies! Even though Wordpress isn't terribly user-friendly, it's a lot more reliable, I have found. Sorry you've been having problems commenting on my blog. I think I've got them all, though. Thank you for visiting, and I'm glad you liked my cards. I've been watching a lot of videos recently about using up scraps which is a really good idea as we do get so many, don't we!
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW,

ReplyDeleteOh these will be too cute Lyn, and I have to say, how well prepared you are…I’m miles from thinking about Christmas decks or home made anything yet. It will creep up on me though, and I will at least get cakes made!
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn! Don't you hate when blogger screws up! But all seems well now. I've been having computer problems too, I type faster then the test can keep up, so I have to stop and wait for it to catch up. I look forward to seeing your Gingerbread magnets all finished! Thanks for your visit, sorry I'm so late...Lindart #23
