What's on your Worktop Wednesday!? #685

It's Wednesday, again) and another trip to Stamping Ground is in order! Hope you all got through the really Hot weather we've had these past few days, which means... I haven't done much crafting apart from finishing off the card I started a few days ago. (using up some of the bits I used to make the card before that) And....playing with some pots of Perfect Pearls I picked up at the Crafty Charity shop at the weekend. So this is what's on my bench. That's all from me! The sun's up! I'd better get to bed! Happy WOYWW!? Catch you all later!

    1. Oh I can sleep! I drop off as soon as I sit down! It's that I forget the time and 'play' in my craftroom doing stuff! I will retire early, before 1 in the morning, today as we have dogs coming.

  3. Oh No! Perfect pearls! I must watch what you do with those then it might encourage me to get them out and use them as they've been sitting waiting for years. I am so naughty! It's breezy at the moment but I know it's going to be hot again, wish it was snowing Lol! Take care and stay cool, Angela x10x

  4. I don’t blame you for being awake most of the night, it’s definitely cooler to become nocturnal! More great buys from your craft charity shop, that place is a little goldmine!

    1. I love that Crafty Charity shop, it sometimes seems to have loads of sewing things and knitting and stuff like that, but sometimes someone brings in their crafty stuff and I'm like....I have to have that!

  5. Yea, I bought a ton of PearlEx back in the day and then Ranger came out with Perfect Pearls (WITH the binder in it already) but I had so much it seemed wasteful to buy the "good stuff" LOL! You and your charity shop! Where do you live, cause I need to stalk that place like you do.... :D
    Happy WOYWW!

  8. The 'Gold" in any form was unavailable while shopping yesterday. I wanted some gold leaf, or would have settled for anything and NOTHING. Wonder what's to be unavailable next week? 2 check out girls showed up for our BIG Walmart, and 3 restaurants are closing no help? It's a crazy world and the temps don't help we need rain for our crops. Best wishes for some return to normalcy for all of you. I haven't talked with my family kids in Germany so don't know how they are coping.

    1. yes, we need rain here too. The wind can harm the trees and other plants just as much as the hot sun can...and now some places have wild fires!

    1. I can sleep ok, it's just, I think, I can play about in my craft room at night, and not feel too guilty at not doing the ironing! Anyway...I've usually got crafty stuff on the ironing board!

    1. I'm going to make a chart. I have a box of 60 mica powers from Arteza but they didn't, well...they looked lovely but they rubbed off, so I've been adding a tiny drop of gum arabic to the Arteza ones and now they work great too. But a chart would be usefull. One in black and the other in white as the colours change.
