For a change, this Monday's Blast for the past, isn't on the blog, it's a 'first' sketch of a birthday card, for one of my mum's dart friends from waaaay back before I was blogging, from 1997. I'd quickly draw out some kind of scene, make up a rhyme, stick it on some card, colour it (long before I had Promarkers)...and that would be that. I made loads of these, especially for teacthers who were leaving. I made one for a pub landlord who was moving once... HERE. What d'yer think? I know... don't give up the day job!
Original pieces of artwork - they are amazing and I am sure were, and are still, treasured by the recipients. I would have framed them! What a blessing to have received a card whereby you took the time to draw such a detailed and personalized design, just awesome! Thank you for sharing!
