Woyww #651 I wonder how many crafty things we've all made since WOYWW #1? Millions I should think! Click on the link and come and join in! And if you've popped over for Tea from T for Tuesday, yes I'm 'running' (I can't run for toffee!) a bit late! So have joined you onto this post. My craft space hasn't really changed a lot since Sunday... only a little 'tidier', after the Grandkiddies. Note Naimh changed the date on the wooden calender...I never remember!
and one last picture of my cocoa Mug again... it's definetly a mug and not a tea pot... the little hat holds some cocoa, so you can sprinkle some on the top! That's it from me for this week! Have a fabulous Crafty WOYWW Tea Day. Thank you for stopping by!
Grandkiddies invaded us over the weekend, after I'd just managed to 'tidy' by craft room, only to have it back to its normal untidiness in a matter of seconds! 'I want to play with the monster Charley game' sez Oliver, 'Nanny where are the monsters?' 'Nanny I want to make a card! What's this do. What are these? Can I use this? ' sez Niamh turning the handle on the big shot...and then 'I like this little one Nanny!' she sez pointing to the little mini Gemini. 'I want to make a card with this.' and again from Oliver, 'Where's the monsters Nannie?'
Happy Wednesday Everyone! Hope you're all fit and well. Here's this weeks freebie, not as late as I'd thought it would be. I've called it, 'We five Owlz' but that might change...another one might fall off the branch. Actually, I'm thinking I might make the leaves bigger...
A comment would be lovely. No sharing please, unless it has the watermark. A link back here is always welcome! Thank you for stopping by. Have a great Day and do something you haven't done in a long time... and I don't mean cutting your toe nails!
Sorry CLOSED!
***This will stay here to download-until no one downloads it and then GoFile will automatically delate it.
Morning, afternoon to all WOYWW fans. Nip over to The Stamping Ground and Join in! I'm typing this very quick coz I can log in to Julia's (yay!!) but that could change at any second... here is a link (just to the page but not to the post)
Here's my bench this week at precisely or near enough, one o'clock this morning.
Not too much activity, mostly stuff left over from making sis in laws card in an earlier post, where's there's links to some of those freebie papers you can see on the left. I had a push back moment when my mags arrived at the same time as we got back from shopping...well, hubby did the shopping and I raided the Charity Craft shop, but not much this week. And here's this weeks freebie before it's been 'beefed up' a bit, on the kitchen counter. I haven't loaded it up yet as, although my scanner has power, my laptop can't 'see' it! Damn thing! I threatened it by saying I'd use my old computer, but it didn't work... it must know the scanner isn't connected to it. Sorry, no freebie till much later...
It's Tuesday! Happy T Day. Pop over to Altered Book Lover, if you're into food, drink, places you'll never go to and all that messy paint stuff!
Here's my lastest Charity Shop buy. A snowman mug.... plus his hat is a cocoa 'shaker.' Who could ask for more!? (me!)
Happy Birthday Debs! Hope you had a lovely 'day off'! Debs is my sis in law. Here's the card I gave her today along with a bottle of wine and a Pussy Cat by parastone. (and this one last year. ) She likes cats...so??? why have I made her a card with an aeroplane on the front? Well, I don't really know, only, the last time we got together was at Bournemouth Airshow and I fancied having ago at Sam Calcott's MultiPanelPopupCard. Hmmm, I shoulda gone with cats or dogs! (Bother! Now I've an image in my head using a couple of the Snarky cats! watch this space!)
The Card. 7x5 card stretches out to be a lot longer. The paper I've used of the multi Hot Air Balloons on the inside, is from Crafter's Companion freebie download of the month Aug 2017. 'Journey To The Sky' (might have to sign in)
The Airplane, Hot-air balloon, helicopter, houses, birds, banner, are from Tonic Studio Magazine Vol 14. Coloured with Promarkers. The Rainbow stamp and the Happy Birthday were from a freebie set from a mag from 2019. And the Rainbow/Cloud paper was a freebie from PaperCrafts Inspiration #138 (Kites and Hot Air Ballons) you may have to sign in there too. I printed all the papers out on 160/200/ and 260 gsm.
Plenty of space on the back to write a sentiment. |
What was a bit weird was none of the little stamps that came with the Tonic mag, fitted the banner, so I just wrote on it. I put Glossy Accents on that bottom plane, but decided just to add a Wink of Stella on everything else. Plus the die cut for the plane cut it into pieces, so I had to cut loads, and make three or four layers to get them nice and thick.
I was trying to copy the card in the mag that shows three planes, which spin round on a wheel, but with just pictures and 'words' that sounded like gobbledygook in my small brain, I made it a single plane spinner card instead.
The balloon had a stamp and a die with an outline die. It would've been better if the plane had had that too. Then... the planes were too small to hide the penny, so I cut out a cloud to fix the planes on to hide it. (more than one plane on a spinner just crashed!) Well, that's it! Will try and add some challenges later. Thanks for stopping by! Stay Safe!

Yes, it's Wednesday WOYWW again YAY!...funny how it comes around once a week. Really sorry, I know I didn't get around to everyone last week, but that 'thing' that's blocking me from Julia's blog is being very mean! Here's my bench at the moment! I got my paint box out. I love it. Never seen another one anywhere else like it. (Bought it in St Austel Cornwall years ago) I was just starting to paint the Ginger Bread men when I spied the dice I bought today (yesterday) from The Works 'specially for this game, which I made when I was 16/17! Yes! A hundred years ago! Nearly. You have to have two dice or if there's a few of you playing a dice each and one for the monster. My idea came from a pony game, called Chase Me Charley. Two teams start at each end of the gymhana arena...they start off (in pairs) both teams charging around the jumps, they meet in the middle, which could be fatel, and when the teams jump their last jump, the next team goes... but of course there's no ponies in this as every one gets a little creature and starts at the beginning...but coming up from the other end is... The Monster! Who's called Charley and who you have to get away from! So, everytime the dice is thrown the monster moves too. Whoever is left standing is the winner. Debbie, my sil, (who was about 6 when I made it)wondered where it was a few months back and once the grandkiddies saw it, they loved playing. I've lost the money and the cards, but that doesn't matter! I can make some more!
Close up of my boxes, it has a handle, and the lid fits both boxes. The mug has sheep on it! Makes a change!
Brother was moved again. Hospital, home, back to hospital, then Macmillian Cancer Care for a while and then, they moved him out because he wasn't ill enough! So, he's in a Care Home now. All part of the same unit but I have to have a 'test' before I can visit... hopefully tomorrow! (today) It's all fun and games! Well, that's it from me. I've only just linked, but I should see you soon! Nip over to Stamping Ground and join in!
Those are accompanied by my latest Charity shop buy, a gingerbread man mug. Had to have it.
Then I ran out of magazine holders to put my magazines in. Hubby was just about to crush a really nice chucky box his walking boots came in. "Hang on! No! That looks useful!' His eyes rolled. "Thought I could get it out into the recycle bin before you noticed it!" (Really? I'm right on top of that Rose!*) So, after a bit of cutting and sticking down of paper and lots of glue, it now holds a few crafty magazines! (going to add a lable tag later)
Picture. Early morning on the beach. Remembering when I was a dog walker and got up at silly o' clock every day in all weathers. I do miss it! And below, a park I used to visit with the dogs three of four times a week. Now, we often just wonder round for our 'daily exercise' with no dogs.
Our post box was feeling a little bit chilly this week! Someone had been very busy!
A lovely autumn scene of a squirrel, a hedgehog and leaves.
Meanwhile, Hubby put the old garage door to good use... He grinded off the rust, bashed out the dents, welded up other bits, added wheels so it can fold right back and painted it (to match the carport now with wooden bi-fold doors) which he built in the 'real' lockdown. Now he has more covered space to play with his bikes! (No...I'm not saying anything...)
Halloween garden across from us... terrible terrific fun! This was last year... this years garden was even better, more bones and skulls and chains with sound effects; shame my photos were too dark.
Last Picture... Jinx had to have another visit to the Vets this week. More meds... but it doesn't stop him waking me up! 'Where's my Breakfast?' Hope you're having a Terrific Tuesday. Sorry for any smelling mistakes... I usually get all the right letters, but not necessarily in the right place! Nip over to Altered Book Lover for even more Tea for Tuesday. Thank you for stopping by.

Morning WOYWWers! It's the day we all hop around the World and say, "Hi!" to all the other WOYWWers! Starting of course with, Julia, over on Stamping Ground. On my bench this week is some clay, and I've been rolling it and cutting out these little gingerbread men with the cookie-cutter that came in The Papercraftsociety's box kit, along with everything to make a GingerBread House. (See Post below) Somewhere I have a bigger gingerbread lady, she's probably hiding in one of my kitchen drawers.
The black bits on some of their backs are magnets. Later, once they've air dried, I'm going to paint them and add beads and some Nuvo drops. I'm then going to add to the others, little eyelet screws in their heads, (it won't hurt!) then add ribbon or twine so I can hang them on the Christmas tree! (53 days to Christmas!)
Oh poo! Just talk amonst yourselves for a bit...blogger's gone off line... It's back! No...it's gone again! The whole page went blank! Don't Panic!! Well. I'll go off now and draw this weeks freebie and I'll finish this later! I've put it on timer! Fingers Crossed! Have a Happy WOYWW! See you when or if I can link in with Julia's! Thank you for stopping by!
