Circles, Flowers and gems/pearls
for a
Special Lady
Special Lady
This time round we are sponsored by The Cutting Cafe who have very kindly offered a prize of three sets of digi stamps to the winner!
Here's my Card...
All the papers I've used, plain and patterned, are by Pink Petticoat. I've managed to use up loads of scraps, including a Martha Stewart lace border, which just peeps out. I'd already pleated it for another project but never used, so it was cut to size, inked and added here! Plus, I've used the Cutting Cafe's block of 'Mum' words, 'All About Mom' (pdf) which I've embossed with circle swirls, distressed with fine sand paper and inked with my one and only Color Box Cats Eyes ink! (I need more of these!!)
Luckily for us Brits, The Cutting Cafe sentiments also come with Mum and Mother, as well as Mom, even though my mum was never a taxi driver, as she doesn't drive! (Memories of her trying to learn with my dad's help in our little Mini Cooper, suddenly come to mind! Scary!! Oh yes!! the exhaust pipe fell off in the middle of the high street when she stalled the engine at the traffic lights! But I won't mention that!) I've also used a sentiment from the same Pdf sheet, made it slightly smaller so I could use my Woodware 1" & and 2" circle punches. I've also inked all the edges. (I have pink fingers now!)
I've added loads of Stickles Glitter, flowers, (made from Woodware circle and flower punches) real ribbon flowers, tiny gems and circly-swirly die-cuts. The big one you see came as a freebie with an order! The punched out butterflies are also, sort of circling! (Ok, a little imagination need there!) I've also used, although you'd never know, some Pebeo Crystal Touch, over the brads in the centre of the flowers, decided I didn't like it, so covered that with micro fine glitter. The little hearts in the bottom corner are tiny buttons and were fixed on with a 2 in 1 Glue pen. (my Quickie Glue pen's ran out!) That's it! Off you go and join in!! I'm not here, so please forgive any smelling msitakes!!
