Of course it wasn't a real pig! (you knew that!) it was a piggy bank pig.
Here we are, Tom (Son-in-law) and daughter Emma and me... having a fun day painting at Fired Earth in Bournemouth! We had hot creamy chocolate when we first arrived and later, toasted sandwiches (with a side salad)
No one told me I had chocolate on my forehead and cheeks for most of the day. (I'm actually hoping they thought it was paint!)
Tom chose to paint a very large cookie jar (It's usually the first thing he raids when visiting, that's if there's chocolate cookies left in the cookie jar!)
Emma had a long think and decided on a spoon rest and... me? I'd already decided on a pig. The elephant did catch my eye for a half a second, but knowing me, I'd probably break off his trunk when shaking out the pennies in later months!
Our 'creations' will be ready to collect next week. We finished the day with a short walk to the beach and an ice cream. Chocolate of course!
how cute is that??? your pig is adorable!!!!!!

I can't wait to see what colour he'll turn out to be! He's patchwork, with a stippled blue face and pink cheeks...
