Hi WOYWW-ers! It's that time again, when I stay up all night playing in my crafty space (which is getting smaller by the second) doodling, because I've forgotten it's Wednesday and I haven't done the freebie yet, or typing away on my computer (trying to catch up on last Weeks Wednesday Whizz)
This week on my bench is just the usual chaos. Stuff I've started and stuff left over from other stuff I've finished or not finished. Cold tea and the bottle of Babycham, which has been there forever...a bit like Julia's garden folk that I can usually see through her window if the sun's still up. The papers are in fact sheets (of many trillions) discarded from my 'never-ending story'. Rather than shred them, burn turn them into paper hats or throw them in the recycle bin, I thought, coz it's 'posh' paper, I'd ink or distress them, then use them in something that I haven't thought of yet. Another 'scan in' freebie maybe! So there you go, another Wednesday. Doesn't time fly! I'll be a year older this time next week, so watch out for a few more one day 'Birthday freebies' Now hop over to the Stamping Ground and join in!
New Follower! Hi and a big WAvE}} to Anita's Scrappetizers. (out the back and in the dark) I could do with some 'pegboard' too Anita. Happy WOYWW see you all later!!

Wow! That's a great creative manic mess, love it. Great to snoop on. Ditch the cold tea, yuk, and get a hot cup please!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit,
love JoZarty x
Coo, what a busy desk!! Glad I'm not the only one who's tea goes cold too... I've taken to reheating it in the microwave to save money (and time) making fresh cups...

ReplyDeleteLots of busy activity on your desk this week. Yours looks very productive though, even if yu do say that mine looks busier. Fancy staying up that late just to give the rest of us a freebie digi image. that is real dedication. Have a bit of a rest and "me" time now to recover. xx Maggie #8
ReplyDeleteHello Lyn, plenty going on on your desk this week and coincidence or what, I have a bottle of Babycham tucked away at the back of a cupboard and I often have a cup of cold tea on my desk too. Hope you are having a good WOYWW. Elizabeth x #22
ReplyDeleteLoving all the tools you have on your work desk! Love the punches and beads!
ReplyDeleteNow that is definitely a busy desk, you must have been up crafting away while I was fast asleep dreaming on inks and papers - bet you weren't up at 6:30 though.

Great space-love those gigantic punches you have on your desk. Dani33
ReplyDeleteI always like looking at your desk cos it's so busy!
ReplyDeleteAeryn @ #68
It looks like a novel from here....will it kill you to ink and stress it?! Now what are the punches out for? Happy happy birthday for before next week!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to visit me, Missy. Love your desk. So inviting. And I'm going straight to Twitter to tweet about your scissor holding paper clips! Love that... *smile* Expect visitors.... Lol.

@scrapcollectr on Twitter
Thank you! Will look out for that. I think my scissor holding paperclips were mentioned in my very first WOYWW!! Loads of bloggers do it now!
Delete((Lyn))
Oh Lyn - so good to hear you sounding happier and as daft as ever! Err, need to go and clear our bed so we can sleep in it tonight, I didn't take a photo of THAT for WOYWW did I? Snort, snort :) Big hug, Di xx
ReplyDeleteI did get a few hours sleep! Might take a pic of John and the visiting cat..both curled up asleep on the bed, snoring!!
Delete(Lyn)
Love your desk as always and makes mine look very neat! Thanks for the freebie as well. Happy WOYWW. Anne x
ReplyDeleteWow such goodness going on your workdesk! Making my rounds and peeping at everyone. ;) Warmly, Tracy #96
ReplyDeleteKnock! Knock! Lyn....are you in there somewhere??? I am sure you're hiding in there somewhere! Sending in the rescue squad! Just kidding...my desk can look like that over just one little card! How does that happen?
ReplyDeleteMy mess took two cards!!....and has been very messy since Christmas!
DeleteWow, what a busy desk but it also has a look of you knowing exactly where everything is!? I don't think if I had Babycham on mine it would stay unopened very long!
ReplyDeleteThis Babycham is very old!!! It's probably gone off!
DeleteYummy crafty desk you have going on there! It looks so inviting and fun!
ReplyDeletehappy (early) birthday to you!!!
Thanks for the visit earlier!
xoxo Karen
Holy wowza! Your desk is worse than mine....Love your blog! So glad I joined up this week and got to meet you!
ReplyDeleteThank you for following! Will link you on the next'proper post'
DeleteI'm having a terrible time keeping my computer going this week. It keeps freezing up and I have to reboot. What a pain.
ReplyDeleteI like that your desk is still about the same as last week, and that you are going to recycle all that wonderful paper into something worthwhile. Way to go.
Happy belated WOYWW from #2.
well, yes, you're right it is still the same as last week, I've just moved things over a bit and swapped the punches!
DeleteLove the chaos on your desk and the long view down the one side. I tend to work myself into a smaller and smaller space too. Since my photo I've been slogging away at the mess trying to pack my rolly cart since its back to my parent's house all next week.
ReplyDeleteohoo a rolly cart! If I had one that would be stuffed to bursting!
DeleteI can't do all nighters anymore...I will just fall asleep standing up and end up with scissors stabbing something vital and my hand glued to the side of my face or something! HA! Your space looks fabulously creative!
ReplyDeleteoho yes...there have been times, and not just nights, where hands have been glued...and they weren't even mine!
DeleteI love seeing desks where everything is right at hand! Wonderful creative space.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun, busy desk! Did you really stay up all might? :)
ReplyDeleteI think it was about 3.45 by the time I climbed into bed... three hours later the (visiting) cat woke me up!
DeleteI love to see a 6" square of working space LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn. Thank you for coming by my blog and your comment about no comment on my other pages. I have not been able to figure it out, but when I got your comment, I went fiddling around again and this time, duh, it was right there under "post options" so all my pages now have comment sections. Thank you so much for stopping to prod me to do that!! Good luck with your shed tear-down and rebuild! I hope you get your little cottage sanctuary. It is so worth squishing snails to go back and forth, ha! Take care. Oh, you can go back if you want and be the first to leave a comment on My Stamping Pad page. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteyay! yes Darnell, I should have said so, it took me ages to work out that you have to set 'Pages' for the comments. The shed tear-down won't happen yet as it's filled with...stuff! But it is a bit (a lot) of a mess, old and needs painting! It would be lovely to have a nice new usable 'studio' there instead, it would be great! Yours is brill!

Wow! That's some work space you've got there, bright, colorful and oh so packed with creative energy, I love it! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a lot of creativity happens here-thanks for the peek and for stopping by my desk.
ReplyDeleteBarb
Lots happening here. Love the scissor storage idea and I'm drooling over some of the stamps!
ReplyDeleteWhen I'm creating I usually end up with a very tiny space, about 1 foot big to work on. Then I get fed up and have to clean up. It looks like you've been really busy!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by. Your desk looks like there is a lot of fun going on.
ReplyDeletelove your gorgeous messy desk, full of surprises "Babycham!"
