A forever Wednesday Freebie! And Another late What's On Your Worktop Wednesday, #811?!

 Happy WOYWW!? I think I started off quite well last week with the freebies etc...but then it all went belly-up and downhill after a scrap box filled with scraps, (in my craft room) fell to the floor a sprooolled out everywhere. The odd thing is, I can't even tell where the box fell from...so. I shut down, closed the craftroom door, and with help from Daughter, Emma, retreived most of the Christmas decs from the attic. 

Just as well she was there really, as I slipped on one of the rafters and fell (luckily) into a pile of unused duvets. Could I get up?? No. I guess after a while I would've managed, but with Emma's help it was all made a lot easier! So I've decided to put the dec boxes out in the mancave or the garage) then I don't have to worry about getting them back up into the attic, and then down again next year...and then up again.... not looking forward to that. They may have to stay out in the mancave or the garage forever! 

I found these knitted thingies, I made years ago, in with the Christmas decs...there were quite a few of them-lost to the many boxes in the attic that I can't reach probably. Robin Hood and a Snowman...see! I can knit! Well, the tree is up and decorated....not as much stuff on it....it gets less and less every year, lights are in the windows...I want to put up some outside lights. Not much chance of that as I can only get on to the second or third run of the steps! And! this week I'm House sitting three dogs! And, one of them is staying with me for Christmas...

I can't remember if I've already done this as an 'always freebie' ....and seeing I haven't got my scanner with me, I can't really do any new drawings...well, I can, but they'd probably be a bit wonky! So, just click on this and save! Have a great WOYWW! Thank you for stopping by!

A late last weeks T for TUESDay! Plus this weeks too

 Yes! this is last weeks T for Tuesday....but as always, things happened! And I didn't get round to post this post.

Same ol'same...with Beetroot juice, which I'm sure they must use in films for vampire blood....this one is beetroot with apples...the other one is cranberry juice...and the tin of Kombucha, Turmeric and ginger

Later of course there was hot chocolate with whipped cream and a melted flake... good news on the hot chocolate front, everdently there was isues with the cocoa so that's why it vanished from the supermarket shelves... and according to my sauce...(ketchup or salad cream, take your pick) we should see it back on ours shelves before Christmas...and pigs might fly.

 Now this T for Tueday and next week... I'm house sitting, Remi and Bronte, and Loki came too! So great fun. This time I've connected my laptop to the upstairs sitting room/office...A much better connection than the sunroom downstairs...(and waermer!) So here's a picture of that and my cold cup of tea! It's Tuesday!T ime for Tea, but no more Cocoa!

  And that means it's time for T for Tuesday...or T stands for Tuesday! In any case, pop over to AlteredBooklover and join in! I've pushed back some crafting things to make room for the same ol' same again, but there's now a Beetroot drink...and it's quite nice. It's supposed to be good for you....I'm not sure in what way! The Mockingbird Juice is still half price-ish, so I'm keeping up with that....this first picture, was last weeks I think and I forgot to post it! 

This is todays...I had some hot milk left over from the cereal, so I made a cup of coffee. The other drinks are Beetroot Juice and, a new Kombucha to me, Fix8 (with green tea, Ginger and Turmeric) and that's nice too! Now it's moan-time!!

It was also time to get my winter mugs out too and make some....Hot Chocolate, but!! I've been out of Cadburys Drinking Chocolate for some time now, no one's got any. So last week I decided to go on line and buy two x1kg tins. Brilliant! They came the next day! But today, my phone pops up with news that everybodys favourite drinking chocolate after decades and decades is being withdrawn. No more Cadburys Hot Chocolate. WHY?

Belated Birthday Cat Card For Debs...

  

It was my sil's birthday in November....I wasn't late, honest! and I did take a picture of the card I made....but, it wasn't up to much! She usually keeps them, so I said, 'It's okay to throw this one away~but take out the Amazon gift card first!' I think she's been spending that on goodies for her new kittens! 

 First I put a little Happy Birthday envelope inside with some money in it, but then thought, cash would just get lost with any other money she had, so made a gift card holder instead....

Probably shoulda made it in pink...but the green one was already made and just about fitted a long with the Amazon Gift Card.

The papers I used are freebies from PaperCrafter Magazine...I would link you but, I've just spent ages trying to get in...never had to login before, as I've been a member for years....anyway! If you put cat papers in the search box on the site, it will come up with them.... I cut the cats on their climbing frame from an A4 printed sheet, and then went round with a black Posca pen... (the orange and brown paw prints were a bit of scrap I kept,  are from a different set...just the right size and came in handy for covering up a mistake!)   Last week or the week before, Rosie, the little dachshund, I looked after for a few days, a couple of weeks back, had her three puppies. So cute!

 Then, Debs, sil, decided she couldn't do without her cats, (that had sadly passed away) so, welcome these super cuties, bother and sister little fluffy balls!

  And!!! Yesterday, I found a bargain of the week/month...for £15, from the charity shop. Looks brand-new and is probably closer to £70 new! I've been looking out for another one of these for ages. Happy WOYWW #806

 Happy WOYWW every one....thought I'd better join in this week as it's Sarahs half year anniversary from taking over hosting WOYWW slot every week. Well done Sarah!  As always, these days, I'm up to my eyeballs in crafty rubbish creative stuff and haven't made anything, but just 'tried' to organise things, impossible, as there just isn't enough space. I'm thinking of adding three bins...one for 'throw away' one for 'keep', and one for 'charity or give away'....and maybe, and extra one for 'sell' (Won't happen though, will it?! No, most likely not...1000 to one chance)

The Very Top picture...at last there's not such a big heap on my normal craft space...that's coz it's all got dumped in the living room (and bedroom) to 'sort out' not on the ironing board this time, but on a wallpaper paste table...it doesn't take any weight though, so there's not much on it...

A lot of my 'sets' like this Alice one above, now live in these files, which I can keep in a ring-binder, there are a few stamp doubles.

It's Wednesday, What's on your Worktop?? #801 #802, #803, #804,

 Happy WOYWW!? Well, there's nothing on my worktop that wasn't there last time I posted, as I've had no internet...well, it was there but for some reason my laptop couldn't find it! Meanwhile, I have been sorting out all my crafty trollies and wheely things, hoping I can get some order into my very chaotic messy crafty space...which of course, at the moment, has been for a few months now, taking up the whole of my bungalow... so...

   The above picture shows three of the trollies in the living room. Mostly papers in one, books to alter and play with, or make into glue books in another, plus all my paints (nearly) in the taller one, along with stuff to use on the Geliplates... All the papers and pages  and cut outs and coffee/tea stained papers etc, I've been saving, are in boxes in the bedroom, so I will be sorting them out next. 

 I've also been filling up my two small Tim Holtz  'District Market' binders with any TM scraps or simular papers I could find, making pockets and side tucks, not finished yet... Meanwhile... (back at the ranch)...

 ... who has an Air Fryer? (The above one was on sale but has gone back up again) I've been told to get one, seeing it's just me and I don't want to use the oven for just one thing. Most things I microwave. John was going to get one... but....he ran out of time, so didn't. I also need a new telly for the kitchen, as the one that's there now, has no picture, only sound...So apart from hedge cutting and mowing...binge watching You tube and Netflix, well, that's what I've been up to! Hot Chocolate with fluffy milk

 

 Hello! Yes I need some Hot Chocolate with fluffy milk to calm me down! And yes, once more I've been off line for ages....and I mean off line. First my phone was doing weird things... then I decided to turn on my laptop, which I hadn't opened in a few weeks, to find it was on, in a panic and having a hissy fit too! Mouse wouldn't work (I'm hopeless with that finger swirly thing, I need a mouse) so the laptop, was telling me there was no internet connection. Odd. Well, anyway, as you can see, it's working now, took ages, so it's now time to catch up...

  

 First my moan of the week or the month, as the above no sugar tea/berry drink, which comes in all sorts of flavours, and in bottles too, is no longer going to be sold at my local Tescos. Did a bit of hunting around yesterday and found some at Waitrose,  and at a Tesco Express... dearer of course. So, Aldi stopped their  Cold Press drinks . Loads of different smoothies instead...but loads of sugar too.

I've added Jordans extra nutty, to my mixed up cereal now...more nuts, with oats... and there's one of the Smoothies in the picture too. A Very Quick T stands for Tuesday!

 

 It's still Tuesday...so Happy T stands for Tuesday! Once more I have two four legged friends staying, having great fun (not me!) in all this rain! And Thursday, I'm off house/dog sitting but not for long....So, here's what I can add to T stands for Tuesday...my 'boring breakfast', as always...and now that I've found out that Aldi no longer sell my favourite Cold Press drink, I think I'll go back to making my own. Just have to use up what I've already bought from Tesco's...something simular, while it's half price, once it goes back to its real price, that'll be it!

What they did have in Aldi was a Milk Frother. Over the years I've had a few of them, they don't last long, so if I see one that's a bit cheaper than it normally is... it jumps into my basket! Yes, I know it looks like whipped cream, but it's milk (Hot Chocolate) ...lovely and frothy! I haven't any other drinks to show this week, so will wish you a very Happy T day!! WHat's In Your Worktop WeDneSday #800!!!

 Yes! It's WOYWW #800!!! Can you believe it!? Above is how my worktop is now, today. I was going to try and 'do something crafty' but ran out of time! So, I'm showing you my very first WOYWW Desk from waaay back here!  in 2010/02/! when I used the bigger bedroom...I can't make the pictures any bigger, but you can see, my work top is just as messy!! In fact....there's a lot of the same stuff in these older pictures. Maybe it's time I had a VERY BIG clear out!

I was quite chuffed with this make, 'specially adding that spider!

T stands for Tuesday, Taps, and a dickyTv,

 Morning, afternoon and evening! or....some time in the night. Forgot to post to Elizabeth and Bleubeard,  didn't I? Bit busy. Leaky taps, telly on the blink, sound but no picture...Rat attacks...but I won't go into that! And, four footed friends visiting. My normal fruit and veg drinks have been out of stock for ages again...I'll have to buy in bulk! I did go back to a  different MockingBird Raw Press... containing, Kiwi, Kale, Broccoli, Apple, plus vitamine C. And I did also whizzz up my own recipe, with added milled Flax Seeds, but forgot to take a picture, so.... Here's a couple of drinks sent from Sis in law, who's been away somewhere hot for the last two weeks...lucky devil!

Another 'T' I'm adding here is all about water, is my new tap fitting, the old one was leaking badly...and took me ages to get off the tap, so now, no more leaks!

The electrician came last week...and fitted an outside double plug, so I can reach the top of the garden with the electic mower. (The battery one doesn't like the rougher grass and the petrol one went to the tip months ago)  

 And of course I can use it for other things as well. I also wanted him to look at the pond, which keeps fusing, so hasn't run for months. If turned on to activate the water fall and pump, it lasts for about 30 seconds and the fusebox in the garage turns it off. In the end, I decided it wasn't worth it, and to leave it, but he said, 'Well, turn it on, and let me see,' Guess what?? It's now been on for over a week!! Which is why I bought the new tap thingy, as the water in the 'well' (an old dustbin) empties out quicker than the flow from the pond fills it up... so there's a cock and ball thingy, which opens up to allow extra water in when it is needed. The yellow hose above travels under ground to  the 'well' and the green hose is attached to the garden hose and is not switched on. 

We also had a village garden/house/garage sale, but I chickened out and had a wizzy-fit as most of the stuff was John's... so I packed it up and instead had a walk around the village and bought two baragins of the week, A long armed pruner plus saw attachment, still in its packaging for £8 (they're normanly about £50 new) and this four drawer little storage box for £3. Bargain! I might paint it later.
