Morning! It's Wednesday and that means, it's time for all us nosey crafters to hop around the world and snoop on everyone's workbench, or table, or floor, or kitchen top, or fridge, or even should I dare say it... no, I daren't! All thanks to Julia over on Stamping Ground.

John and Pam blowing out the candle!

I have been busy making birthday cards this week. It was Lady Pam's 90th Birthday on Sunday and Hubby John's on the Saturday(a little bit younger, that's him, still wearing his lockdown beard) , so you can guess what I've been making all week. Birthday Cards. It was the first time we'd all been together for over a year! Above is Lady Pam and if you look on her lap, she brought her Twiddler (Thank you Jo!) with her!Above is the card I made for her; more about that in another post. This is how I left my desk earlier with the back of hubby's card showing (yes that's the back) as there was something I wanted to add (and change) but didn't get around to doing it. Some of you may spot that both cards are from ideas by Sam Calcott.
My new little mini Gemini came in very handy for cutting out all the little dies! I'm very late typing this up....and doing the freebie. (it might be late! again!) as we've been out all day, to Stourhead one of my favourite gardens to visit. I thought it was worth a picture! That's it for now, see you all later over on Stamping Ground!
WoW ! She is looking good for it :-)
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely at that lake xoxo
What a milestone and what a beautiful lady. So is the card you made her. It is a gift in itself. It was good they could visit you and share their birthdays with you. Lovely shots and a great look at your desk, too. Happy WOYWW from # 4.

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful pic of the two birthday peeps! Lady Pam looks amazing for 90, blimey, hope I look as good as her. How lovely that Jo’s twiddler is treasured so much. The purple card was fab too. Love the pic of Stourhead, we used to go there all the time when we lived in Wiltshire!

90! How lovely. As is the card. I love the size of the little Gemini but having just got a Sidekick I really can't justify another diddy machine...can I?
ReplyDeleteStourhead is not super close (maybe 20 minutes) but perhaps one day a coordinated visit might be possible....
:D
What a morning, but I'm here now… HAPPY WOYWW!

What a beautiful card you made for Lady Pam. I hope you share how to make it. I tell you what, Lady Pam does not look 90. If you had said 80 I would have thought that nearer the mark but to be honest she doesn't even look 80.
ReplyDeleteHope your hubbies birthday card turns out as you want.
Hugs, Neet xx
