Happy WOYWW!! Well, it looks like rubbish, but it's not...Last weeks gravy cartons are still there, not painted, (Looking like that's all we have, gravy on everything!) Only I have towered them up a bit higher, so now I need more! The cracker paper is still there...Then I pulled out some stash to make a few cards and PooF!! Instant Mess! Brads everywhere!
...and things piled high and pushed back merged together into one BIG heap....Anyway, I did want to show you my freebies from a Crafty mag last month...instead of using them on cards, I used my glue gun and fixed them onto little pegs to hold up some of my Christmas cards from some ribbon, only I forgot to take a picture, so's here's a 'reconstruction!'
Happy WOYWW! Pop over to Julia's Stamping Ground and join in!!!
Creative and tidy just don't go together so be just as messy as you need to be Lyn :-) Enjoy the moment :-)

I saved some Pringle tubes to decorate and use as gift holders. Guess what? They're still in the cupboard and Christmas has come and gone.

ReplyDeleteLove your Chrissy cards and those wooden embellishments look great on the pegs. I brought loads of them back from our Austrian holiday last year as they are huge there but haven't wanted to use them yet. Will have to give this a go.

I want a gravy tower! I've got a lazy Susan that needs filling with those card pots it would be soooo handy. Gonna buy ten pots and empty the granules into jam jars methinks... see what you've done and the sales of Bisto will soar!! Watch the stock (pun!) market and buy shares early...

Lovely creative mess.... you do eat a LOT of gravy by the look of things - but the pots look great! And I love your little wooden card decorations - sweet idea... Happy WOYWW!

Your desk is like a mixed media work of art, a little of this and a dash of that...or is that a recipe I am thinking of,,,it was the mention of gravy that veered me to a cooking analogy.HA! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Thank you for your visit this week. My desk has got worse since then as I am now crafting in the middle of the mess. You seem to be having a very productive time. I like your card for your sister in law, it is difficult to do cards for people in her position, to show your sympathy but do something a little cheerful. My one aunt did not speak to anyone for years after Mum sent her a card with a sympathetic message on it. xx Maggie #32
ReplyDeleteHullo there Lyn,
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely digi there thank you :D and love your idea for displaying cards.. well done! Thanks so much for sharing ~ happy WOYWW! Shaz in Oz. x #6
That is such a clever idea! I was looking at those freebies and did not know what to do with them, I might just steal that idea. I love your desk, there is so much to look at, I wish I could come for a play date.
ReplyDeleteHappy belated WOYWW!
