ReplyDeleteI hope you can show soon the rest of your craft room :)
Hi Lyn, Just stopped by for a little visit. so many pro markers. I use copics, but have been thinking about buy a set of promarkers to try them out. #17
ReplyDeleteMorning to you, too, Lyn! It's starting to get light outside, so defo time for bed I think... Lovely ATC and card from Vickie!! And what a lot of Pro Markers you've got.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my blog, glad you like what I've done, and yes, feeling distinctly better now, thanks. If you look at my previous post you'll see all the ATCs in all their glory!
Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #25
They are amazing! go see them everyone! HERE
DeleteHad any peeping toms looking in through the window? lol Give 'em a show gal...entertain! lol But no, you're a peeper pooper and put blinds up! hee hee waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)
ReplyDeleteHi there. Nice to pop in and see your creative world this week. I won't stay long; don't want to give you my cold! Hope you have a good creative week though.
ReplyDeleteNeil # 33
I don't think there is anyway to have a craft room without it looking messy from time to time. I am happy you go the card and ATC! Have a great week. Vickie #36
ReplyDeleteWow lovely legs putting up your windows and blinds lol. Those promarkers are rearing to go on a desk of their own.
ReplyDeleteBridget #6
Great atc, looks like youbare having lots of colouring fun!!!have a great week trace x. 52
ReplyDeleteLovely to see your desk agin, Lyn! The atc from Vicki is gorgeous. friendship across the miles, indeed! Hope you find the atc's on your desk! Helen, 12
ReplyDeleteGlad stuff is getting back to normal... desk looks as though it is getting ready to get crafty
ReplyDeleteFrankie #16
xx
A messy desk is the sign of a creative mind so they say! Just quickly popping by between hospital visits to see what you're all doing! Have fun on WOYWW. Karen T, 77 x
ReplyDeleteIf stuff is now piled on a desk instead of the floor, I think you've made huge strides. Hope you get a chance to sit and colour.
ReplyDeletecheers, rachel #53
Clean and tidy and ready for a crafty onslaught! Have fun making a mess :)
ReplyDeleteMary Anne (1)
Yipee getting back to normal then! Cant wait to see what you have done with your pro markers! xx Sian Evans, One and Only Designs No87
ReplyDeleteI had to smile when I read this post - we have been buying a blind from the little Swedish shop for years now - we go and never bring one home - other things - for my craft room most likely - end up coming back.
ReplyDeleteLove all the space you seem to have for working on. Lovely atc - off to see Soshi's now.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me - Neet #3 xx
Love the ATC and card you received. Thanks for sharing your workspace with us. Hope you have a good week. Hazel WOYWW #20 x
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, happy WOYWW! Been snooping (only on your blog) at the new windows - you'll feel a big difference I'm sure. Fabby ATC from Vickie - off to snoop at Shoshi's now.
ReplyDeleteI guess it was Southampton Ikea you visited? Get there early enough and their breakfasts are pretty good value too :) Di xx
Your desk is looking very industrious. Good on you for using the same blind, why not spend money on more stash.
ReplyDeleteSandra @99
What a fab work desk you have there Lyn, it must be great to be back behind it (n front of it?):)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the rest of WOYWWW :0)
TFS Happy WOYWW xx Charlie.xx #72
ReplyDeleteEverything looks so crisp and clean ...glad you only had to buy one blind. Shoshi's work is amazing isn't it. As for cats ....I dont let wet ones anywhere near me lol. Yes we do have hair problems ....looks like tumble weed ...cant believe we haven't got bald cats lol
ReplyDeleteWish my n/bours would put a blind up in their ground floor bathroom window. It maybe small but it faces my drive and can be seen from my kitchen, landing and front door. Not a pretty sight day or night. TG mine is upstairs and although not overlooked from the garden/neighbours,I have always had a blind up in the window.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment, Lyn, and also for the link to my ATC post! Most kind! and yes, do get down to tangling - it's highly addictive and great fun!
ReplyDeleteShoshi #25
Looks like you've been having a good colouring in session :o) Hope you get your crafty space back to normal soon, that's if any of our crafty spaces are ever "normal" :o) x April #88
ReplyDeleteThat ATC from Vickie is beautiful, so now hopping over to Shoshi, as I am the curious type. Great work desk and lovely pens too. Anne x #49
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn, lovely workdesk with clear space showing! Great windows too, no more drafts but not sure you'll get any sun through them not unless you had them fitted in Spain :)
ReplyDeleteLove Ikea and could spend many a day there but hubby isn't keen!
Happy WOYWW xx
OOh, even at the expense of piles of stuff behind you - that worktop is very inviting...and as tidy as it'll ever be, eh?! Yep, I have a blind at my frosted window too, modesty demands!
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn your new windows are looking very smart! jUST popped over to look at Shoshi's ATC's they are gorgeous. Have yours ready to send ( sorry it's taken so long ) I'm afraid they are noway up to Shoshi's!!! Have fun putting everything back :-0 Anne x
ReplyDeleteFunny, I have taken all my blinds down, as I hate keeping them clean and always having to take down and wash ( and no easy place to do so ). Besides most of them are plastic and the heat and hot sun in Florida treats them so badly they begin to sag and become truly ugly. Oh well. That is a great ATC you received. Very clever. #125
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post, Lyn - lots going on to read about. Great ATCs - off to check Shoshi's now!
ReplyDeleteHugs, LLJ #60 xx
I had to pop over also and see all the ATC's! They are all gorgeous! Love the plane one also! I had no idea what an ATC was until you sent me one in the mail. I meant to send you one back, but as a messy crafter type, don't ask me where I set your envelope with your address. So sorry! Maybe I will find it when I am cleaning or can get your addy from you again later.
ReplyDeleteYour crafting area looks great! Hope you are having lots of fun creating!
I was inspired by your blog to clean up my desk last week, but it's already messy again! lol. So is the way of a messy crafty! :) Have a great week!
We have loads in common, Spyder, there's a scary thought for you. I bought the Ikea rail and pink pots (and a red one too) last Sunday when I should have been looking at sofas. Ours has got a hole in it!!!! Don't ask!!
ReplyDeleteWe also fitted blinds to the bathroom window after my Hubby went over to the road to see what he could see and said "too much""!!
And don't get me started on Star Trek although that's him not me!!
Thanks for sharing your lovely space and I'm glad you're getting back to normal.
Happy WOYWW
Hugs Lisax #91
happy woyww. glad to see things coming back to normal after the window work. happy crafting, mark
ReplyDeletecute cow... have a great day!
ReplyDeleteHi Lyn! I'm doing my snooping today as I was celebrating my independence yesterday!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having fun doodling around - the ATC from Vickie is great, isn't it.
I will have to go check out Shoshi's...
Thanks for visiting me already!!!
Hugs,
Kay #27
I'm with you that why fix what isn't broken and buy new blinds, especially when you can have other fun things from IKEA. I laughed that you and hubby kept running outside to check the view in the bathroom window. I would totally do that. I couldn't leave blinds off of any windows though, no siree. I think it is because I'm so nosy myself. I don't really care what people are doing but I love to see inside houses. It is probably why I like WOYWW so much. I also have nightmares where I'm trying to hide or get away from... what?... but I'm always in rooms with big windows and no blinds or blinds that aren't shut. Ugh. Nope, can't stand no window treatments. And I HATE the new blinds the landlord installed. They don't close well and you can see glimpses inside and yes, I ran out to check multiple times. Makes me nervous....!
ReplyDeleteI just love that gorgeous french door. It is really something special.
ReplyDeleteThe new windows are such a valued addition to any home. Loved the peek at your garden too.
Hi Lyn, I've just had a look at the window transformation and it's fab, especially those patio doors :) You will find that they will make such a difference - less heat loss and fewer draughts too. The ATC from Vickie is just beautiful. I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. Elizabeth x #85
