Not done a lot of card making over the last few days....well I have, but you can't see them~ so instead here's a few pictures of John under Lady Pam's car. She popped down to see us during the week and said. "My car's doing silly things, and smells funny." Well, for a car that's only done about 14,000 miles in eight years....(she doesn't drive it much!) the clutch had completely burnt out. 'It's knackered!' said John and so was he when he's finished...
And for those of you who follow the blog.... he's also mended the picnic table.... so, like the car, it too, lives on to fight another day... In Pam's words, 'Clever little Tuppenny, isn't he!?'
Haha - he is a clever tuppenny. No 'Rock' Buns on the picnic table next time, hehe :0)
ReplyDeleteClever John indeed Lyn - I've got Bob (aka Len) the Builder grovelling round sorting out some damaged brickwork on a garden wall here. Chaps are very useful really - but we didn't ought to say that too loudly :)
ReplyDeleteAre they a fourpence then? ie two tuppences? :)
Di xx
Spyder, you have yourself one gem of a man. My sweet Kahuna doesn't know what a hammer and screwdriver look like. LOL
ReplyDeleteHurraH for John - how wonderful to have someone so handy :-) Any chance of sending him over here - I got a few jobs ???????
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying your stories. They are so cute. They make me smile. Lady Pam sounds like a wonderful person. Thanks for sharing. Edwina Brown
