WOYWW? Nearly back to Normal....

It's Wednesday! Yoohooo Woywwer's!! and Happy 4th of July to all you over the other side of the pond! (we don't have that) Work bench is back in place, new windows and door's are fabulous!! Lookie see HERE but crafty room is still in a bit of a mess (No change there) Here's some quick pics of what's on my Workdesk this Wednesday...not a lot...
ProMarkers, a couple of doodles... the 'hidden' freebie Whale Island and today's..'Moo' before I'd 'played' with her. A Christmas stamp (bit cheaper) some more stamps I got from a back issue of a mag, (that was cheaper too) Ikea rods and hooks, a dark pink hanging pot, which I bought from Ikea when I should've been looking at window blinds... ended up using the old blinds (just about showing) as they're not even a year old and they fit. (Why change what isn't broken) So the only window with a new blind is the bathroom window! Bathroom window is frosted but... night time, light on...doesn't leave much to the imagination! (scarrrry!!) Yep, me and him kept running outside just to see! Decided not to put blinds up in the other rooms and just let the sun (yellow shining thing that shines brightly in the sky and feels hot!) shine in. So here's my worktop, still a bit naked... Nothing on the windowsill, no little useful boxes back in their place... the DVD is StarTrek...
Won't show you the other side of my crafty room as it's still piled high with the 'stuff' that was on the floor...
And there's Vickie's (Okienurse) lovely ATC, (and card) which arrived yesterday!! I've still to finish off two ATC's... I did them and now, because of the piling up and moving about, I've miss placed them... they're here somewhere, but it'll be quicker to make two more. And talking about ATC's, have you seen Shoshi's? below her woyww post. They are amazing! That's it! Nip over to the Stamping Ground and say hi to Julia and join in!! Freebie coming later...or it might already be below! (It's on timer and seeing it 's 3.45 in the morning it's should be there somewhere) night night. Thank you for stopping by!

  15. I had to smile when I read this post - we have been buying a blind from the little Swedish shop for years now - we go and never bring one home - other things - for my craft room most likely - end up coming back.
Love all the space you seem to have for working on. Lovely atc - off to see Soshi's now.
Hugs and thanks for visiting me - Neet #3 xx

I guess it was Southampton Ikea you visited? Get there early enough and their breakfasts are pretty good value too :) Di xx

  22. Wish my n/bours would put a blind up in their ground floor bathroom window. It maybe small but it faces my drive and can be seen from my kitchen, landing and front door. Not a pretty sight day or night. TG mine is upstairs and although not overlooked from the garden/neighbours,I have always had a blind up in the window.

  26. Hi Lyn, lovely workdesk with clear space showing! Great windows too, no more drafts but not sure you'll get any sun through them not unless you had them fitted in Spain :)

Love Ikea and could spend many a day there but hubby isn't keen!

    Happy WOYWW xx

  27. OOh, even at the expense of piles of stuff behind you - that worktop is very inviting...and as tidy as it'll ever be, eh?! Yep, I have a blind at my frosted window too, modesty demands!

  29. Funny, I have taken all my blinds down, as I hate keeping them clean and always having to take down and wash ( and no easy place to do so ). Besides most of them are plastic and the heat and hot sun in Florida treats them so badly they begin to sag and become truly ugly. Oh well. That is a great ATC you received. Very clever. #125

  31. I had to pop over also and see all the ATC's! They are all gorgeous! Love the plane one also! I had no idea what an ATC was until you sent me one in the mail. I meant to send you one back, but as a messy crafter type, don't ask me where I set your envelope with your address. So sorry! Maybe I will find it when I am cleaning or can get your addy from you again later.
Your crafting area looks great! Hope you are having lots of fun creating!
I was inspired by your blog to clean up my desk last week, but it's already messy again! lol. So is the way of a messy crafty! :) Have a great week!

  32. We have loads in common, Spyder, there's a scary thought for you. I bought the Ikea rail and pink pots (and a red one too) last Sunday when I should have been looking at sofas. Ours has got a hole in it!!!! Don't ask!!
We also fitted blinds to the bathroom window after my Hubby went over to the road to see what he could see and said "too much""!!
And don't get me started on Star Trek although that's him not me!!
Thanks for sharing your lovely space and I'm glad you're getting back to normal.
    Happy WOYWW

  34. Hi Lyn! I'm doing my snooping today as I was celebrating my independence yesterday!

Looks like you are having fun doodling around - the ATC from Vickie is great, isn't it.

I will have to go check out Shoshi's...

    Thanks for visiting me already!!!

  35. I'm with you that why fix what isn't broken and buy new blinds, especially when you can have other fun things from IKEA. I laughed that you and hubby kept running outside to check the view in the bathroom window. I would totally do that. I couldn't leave blinds off of any windows though, no siree. I think it is because I'm so nosy myself. I don't really care what people are doing but I love to see inside houses. It is probably why I like WOYWW so much. I also have nightmares where I'm trying to hide or get away from... what?... but I'm always in rooms with big windows and no blinds or blinds that aren't shut. Ugh. Nope, can't stand no window treatments. And I HATE the new blinds the landlord installed. They don't close well and you can see glimpses inside and yes, I ran out to check multiple times. Makes me nervous....!

  36. I just love that gorgeous french door. It is really something special.
The new windows are such a valued addition to any home. Loved the peek at your garden too.

  37. Hi Lyn, I've just had a look at the window transformation and it's fab, especially those patio doors :) You will find that they will make such a difference - less heat loss and fewer draughts too. The ATC from Vickie is just beautiful. I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. Elizabeth x #85
